We try to have someone portraying a different scottish regiment and I have the Seaforths. I do hopt to get out to Newville sometime though, so you guys might see me yet. We are in the firing line to the right of his CEF BW guys, and we do a lot of field ops together as well, so either way we will get to soldier together. When you do get to Newville, stop by 'Black Watch Corner', and I'll buy you a drink... YMH&OS, Ed

Sergeant Posts: 114 Group: Members Member #227 Joined: October 24, 2006	I recently got an IM from a friend who is a Sergeant Major in the 82nd Airborne, now serving in Afghanistan (and fell in love with WWI reenacting at Newville a couple of years ago) . He says that there's a detachment of the Black Watch over there now and they are kicking some serious Taliban butt! In Iraq a couple of years ago, some Iraqi insurgents ambushed a Black Watch convoy. Bad idea. The Highlanders did a BAYONET CHARGE against them. It worked. See you in a week or so!
