To start this sidebar debate my questions are as follows: pets and animal care: Under economics we've covered the basis of need for any human but what about pet owners? Will there be alotments for the pets to receive their needs and if so how will such alotments be dealt with? Will the needs for a pet be free or will owning a pet be considered a luxery? What about zoos and other animal housing facilities? Will and how will resources be set aside for them? This also leads to matters of industrial entertainment. How do places such as amusment parks, zoos, aqauriums, etc continue to function efficiently without revenue? Will such places which bring people a lot of joy, excitement, and entertainment be given alotments or resources to continue their business in bringing happiness to people's lives? What about places such as Florida, that function mainly on revenue from tourism? How do we continue to live without our way of life callapsing on itself? How do multi billion dollar industries such as Disney World and Universal Studios continue to bring entertainment to people and update thier venues without a way to finace such places? |

I think theres a fairly obvious solution to that problem - treat the pets as independant from the human carers. The Humans get what they need. The animals get what they need. |

I propose a separate set of resources, usable only for pet items and the like. As for the other points made, I think that deserves it's own section. I don't think it deserves to be in the shadow of this sidebar. |

I agree that animal resources ought to be treated as if they were a separate entity. Also, the entertainment industry requires its own unique topic. |

Yeh
Well... not so much separate. Just the animals being separate from the carers, have their needs met individually like a Humans would be. |

OKay. I was simply told that a sidebar would be suficient when I propsed the idea. However I was hoping others would see the matter of entertainment and tourism as a matter deserving of a full debate. |

Ummm why not just give extra resoruces to those who have pets? like food, meds ect ect. It shouldnt be a problem due to no money being involved in this system of governemt right? Even vets should be covered just like if the pet caretaker was going to his own doctor. |

...or, even simpler, what I said. Treat the animals as separate beings rather than property of the carers. You know, kinda like they are. So, the animals get what they need seperate from the carers rations (for want of a better word), and the carer just... cares for it. |
