Well, there's not a limited number of spots, nor is any one member in control, so there's no replacements per se. |

Actually, we, as the project people, would only be unleashing this on the unsuspecting public. We won't be controlling anything. We'll have to tell people how to use it, and make sure they aren't doing it wrong, but for the most part, it will be the people's. |

The system is somewhat self-perpetuating, regardless of which people are involved at any time. You'll get the occasional bad apple, but it's not as though they can ruin the entire system, and it's not too difficult to remove them. Everyone here wants to stay involved, but not in charge. You see the distinction? |

Yeh. Only what you said implied that wered remain involved as the entity we are now, as the original body of Project Legacy members. And it would be us who chose the doctors who choose the RMs/DMs. So my point was, at what point do the people choosing those doctors start getting replaced, and who replaces them? |

Perhaps it ought to be project members who choose the original group o doctors, who then chose the next groups, in a self-perpetuating cycle. WIth the doctors accountable to the public. |

It'll have to be as such. It'll also have to work through a double blind, so as to prevent favoritism. |

This sounds rather authoritarian to me, and a large resemblence to labour-value. What determines "hard" work? How could it be measured upon different scales? Miners working in extreme, uncomfortable scenarios for their average work time, or a lawyer who spend the night studying up on law and making a good case the next day? You cannot determine which of these is of "harder" work without having seperate measures and scales for each and every profession, which is rather tedious and still undeterminable to me. What working "hard" may consist of is working excessivly and dangerously. Surely this is not to be promoted. Perhaps someone can give either a more desciptove format for me? Or perhaps we could remodel this? |

How we can measure effort and what the fair rate of pay would be is still something we need to work out, and probably best done with help of professional biologists, psychologists, mathematicians and economists. At this point in time I cant answer that question. |

I'll wait until TomRK1089 replys back but if there isn't a solid format for this I believe it would be in best nature to remove that from the book. Waiting for those professions doesn't matter, we must develop our own intelligence levels in those directions and format this then, and if we are not ready now then so be it, but it should not be made solid if under-developed. |

No cos same-pay-for-same-effort is one of the most important principles in Legacy, we just dont have a way to measure that effort yet. When we figure one out, we can edit the book. |

If we don't have a solid foundation for luxury items then it makes the project look weak and poorly thought up. It should be removed until we actually develop a way to measure work and what would ammount in luxury items. What we have now is, as I stated before, unmeasurable, dangerous, and foolish. |

Yeh, but the project wont be implemented AS IT IS NOW. Its a work in progress. If we dont mention same pay same effort until we figure out a way of measuring effort, we might as well not have a site at all till that time, cos its one of, if not the most important thing in the entire project. |
