Please don't bump anything above this. I'm trying to make a discussion topic and a database of all my available information all in one. For those of you who don't know, the Infinite Setlist is a performance in Rock Band 2 consisting of every single previous song ever released, all in a row. It's not an official in-game challenge, rather, it's something people challenge themselves to do on their own. My prediction is that we'll have to perform somewhere in the vicinity of 468 songs in a row. I have 8 people doing this, and I may as well use their real names. Either members here are participating, dead, or live half the planet away. If I get more participating, I'll add them to the list. Edit: Something I totally forgot about. Basic information. More basic information. First of all, this is done live and in public, as well as being broadcast across the world via internet stream. It's being done for a charity, which has yet to be determined. I was thinking either Central or donating for certain medical research. Robtcee13 Expert Guitar Expert Bass Expert Drums Vocals- Tenor and Alto. And an excellent falsetto. Maybe. >_> master4sword Hard Guitar Expert Bass Medium Drums Vocals- Bass Cool70sfreak Expert Guitar Expert Bass Hard Drums No Vocals J Hard Guitar Expert Bass Medium Drums Vocals- Soprano K Medium Guitar Hard Bass Medium Drums Vocals- Tenor, Alto, Soprano (>_<) A Expert Guitar Expert Bass Expert Drums No Vocals J's Friend No Guitar No Bass No Drums Vocals- Metal (Metallica, Megadeth, Thrash metal, that sort of thing) ...Okay, I lied. I forgot the last one so it's 7 right now. Anyway, I'm starting now to work on matching everybody to each particular song. This list will expand as time passes. Consider songs that you are part of songs you should rehearse for, practice, and stare unceasingly at Youtube videos of. >_> [These songs are rated out of 9, and are on-disc for Rock Band 1. I'm not the only vocalist. There's definitely more than one singer. Imagine the same guy being able to sing Simple Man, Hysteria, and Ballroom Blitz. No. I can do the latter two, but no way I can sing Simple Man. I can't sing low stuff. >_> But I'm guitar on Master Exploder! I call it! |

We have a huge problem with today's released DLC. YYZ. You can not play it, AT ALL, when four people are signed on to play. This means that it cannot be included in any setlist. It has to be standalone. That also means that is we have to completely back out of Band Quickplay and force the vocalist to exit the band completely in order to play it. So maybe this'll just be our first song or something? That's the only solution I have, because then we just have the vocalist sign on so we can get our setlist going from there. |

Is this on PS3 or XBox 360? If it's on the triple, I'll do anything I can to help (Hard Guitar/Expert Bass/REALLY good vocal range. Can do Expert.) If the 360, I'm sorry, but I'm useless. It's on the 360, isn't it? |

It's the 360, and we all are playing it in person anyway. It wouldn't matter the system-- We'd have all the instruments there. |

How are SOAD/Faith No More/Smashing Pumpkins ALTERNATIVE? Even The Pixies aren't really alternative. |

Most SOAD is Metal but this song inparticular is ALternative. All my other choices minus the Pixies were fillers. Except We Care A Lot, which is going to be the very fitting opener for the show. Because we do care alot. Apparently. >_> Pixies are weird enough to be alternative. Have you LISTENED to There Goes My Gun? Smashing Pumpkins, as I said, that's a filler. I haven't personally listened to Zero, but I know Cherub Rock well enough to call that one alternative. Did I mention the second set is going to consist entirely of Metal that nobody else will be able to do on guitar? >_> |

Okay, I've got to say something here: I don't know if it's allowed to be done and still be called the infinite setlist, but if there's absolutely no audience, I think it'd be fair to turn off the Xbox 360 and Stage/Light Kit to prevent it from overheating. And sleep to prevent US from dying. >_> I'll have to check with SH, but until then, what do you guys think? Should we intermission between setlists? Take a couple hour break from, say, 1-7 AM because nobody's going to be watching that late? I'm not going to be the only person to make these decisions. |

It's medium just in case any of the less experienced singers need to take over. Singing is hard work-- At some point a vocalist may choke and be unable to finish the set, or at least the song, without getting a drink. What are we gonna do till then? We can't pause. Odds are, one of our more experienced vocalists is on the job at the time and the others are playing instruments. ...Although, given Rock Band 2's added leniency, I might bump it to Hard. |

Yeah, having a glass of water near him kinda ruins the performance aspect of the performance. Kinda makes it look like a stand-up routine. >_> |

GUESS WHAT GUYS?!?! I'm going the lazy way out and we're playing the songs in difficulty order-- From hardest to easiest. The last song is still Still Alive, and we might take the first 3 songs to warm-up. |
