Or more cruel. However it works. Let's see... It's endless, they're really hard to KO, and can KO you at 0%... How can we make it harder?

Make Alloy suicides not count as KOs. And use Melee's system of deciding between KO and Self-Destruct, so that you actually have to knock them off stage and keep them off rather than hit them once half an hour before they die.

So now it's Final Destination and you actually have to KO them WITH FLUDD. And as FLUDD does no damage and it's FLUDD only, you have to KO them from 0%.

Smash Balls appear. Alloys can get them. They go into a Wario-Man-like state: Cannot be harmed, faster, stronger...

Can FLUDD break a Smash Ball? If so, you breaking it causes the ball to vanish and you not getting a Final Smash.

OH!

Then people will bitch about how all 4 alloys have the same FS and go "OMG CLONE"

You never will know if they do until debug mode is able to be done. Since, really technically, the alloys are based on real characters, they may have the actual character's real moves, animations, and FS's. Totally a theory, though.

If it were hypothetically harder, this is what it'd be like.

Screw Final Destination. It now takes place on Spear Pillar, and the hazards don't affect the alloys.

hmm

another interesting point with the SSBM wireframes is that they copied zelda/falcon's A moves entirely, but didn't have any B moves (or smashes) of their own.

Alloys have the same models as certain characters, but they have completely different character files, which are probably missing the info for:

-Ledge hanging, as they can't grab ledges
-B Moves, because they can't use those.
-Final Smashes

Maybe they're simply programmed not to use B-moves, and since Smash Balls don't appear, they can't use those. Game developers like to leave as few holes as possible in game design, lest the game get hacked and suddenly look very messy. As far as ledge hanging, there could simply be a flag set to those characters disabling their ability to do so. The animations will be there, but they simply cannot do it.

Gotta think from a programmer's point of view.

Do they ever attack while standing on an item? Again, something that could just be in the programming, or set as a flag.

Yes, I've seen them attack while standing on items.

Also, their character files are much smaller than most characters. I believe they have NOT been programmed with B moves. Hell, the wire frames didn't have them.

Having the Fighting Alloy Team be Metal would make it easier. The only thing the alloys can use the recover is their midair jump. Sometimes they can recover using just that, but if they were Metal, they'd just drop like stones. My Metaknight tactic would own the fuck out of them.

Problems.

1: It's Final Destination. Most characters can't make it across the bottom of that stage.
2: Suicides don't give you points, thanks to M4S.
