Longest fight ever. Link can't be hurt until his Rupees run out, thanks to Magic Armor. Toon Link can't be hurt until his magic runs out, thanks to HIS Magic Armor. It's been a while since I played WW, so I don't remember how long Toon Link's'd last... Then there's the bottles... I forget what the best potion in TP is. Fairy Tears, right? Toon Link gets three Blue Potions (full heal health and magic, for more Magic Armor abuse) and a bottle of Elixir Soup (basically two-use Blue Potion with an attack boost). So Toon Link has to run out of Magic and Hearts SIX TIMES before he finally dies. Link, on the other hand, has to lose 5000 (that is the max, right?) Rupees and all hearts just five times. Based on Magic Armor and Bottle Contents, Toon Link seems to have the upper hand. And Toon Link has the patience needed for such a long fight. He had to develop patience during the many sailing trips between islands >_> --- While Toon Link's Magic Armor is active, all Link can do is knock him around. Link loses Rupees just by wearing the armor, and loses more if hit. So Link needs to try to defend himself/stay away from Toon Link while Toon Link's is active, while Toon Link is always on the offensive. Link has a metal shield. Toon Link has a Mirror Shield. Not that Link has anything reflectable... Link has arrows and bomb arrows. Toon Link has arrows, fire arrows, ice arrows, and light arrows. Fire and ice arrows keep Link from being able to use the Zora Tunic. Ice arrows, if Link failed to block or avoid, would leave him open for further attack. I forget if the Mirror Shield protects against explosives. If it doesn't, then Link has a useful ranged assault. Of course, magic armor might prevent elemental arrow use, or at least limit it. I forget if he can use other magic items while the armor is active. Oh, and Toon Link can rotate the view. >_> --- If both Links use potions at the last possible opportunity (as close to 0 hearts as they can get without dying)... After Link's Rupees (and thus Magic Armor) run out, he has aprox. 100 hearts worth of life left. (20 hearts, four potions refilling life.) Toon Link has 120 hearts (20 hearts, three one-use potions and a two-use elixir soup) and up to six magic meters of Magic Armor usage. Plus, each use of the Elixir Soup doubles his attack until he takes damage. If the throws on the Magic Armor right after drinking the Soup, he's got double damage for at least as long as the Armor lasts. Toon Link has the greater lifespan. But Link has the Spinner, and the spinner r pwnx0r. |

Or we could use the much better Majora's Mask Link, who simply uses the Fierce Deity Mask and owns the shit out of Toon Link before the little bastard has the chance to move. I also move to use Majora's Mask Link because he gets Fairies, which were retardedly removed from TP. Alternatively, I do believe Fairy Tears revive you upon death, yes? If Toon Link wants to keep his magic armor, he needs blue potions, which he has to drink. TP Link hardly uses the magic meter, so GOGO FAIRY TEARS. |

You put quite a bit of thought into that. So I guess Toon Link seems to be the clear winner. >_> |

Not quite. Toon Link loses by default be he just sucks so much. Not to mention TP Link doesn't have to wait for his opponent to attack him to roll behind them and slash. TP Link's ability to use his skills without prompt means he has a tactical advantage. |

Doesn't do shit against an invincible opponent. Especially one who can refill his health and magic, followed by EVEN MORE invincibility. TP link just loses with sheer inability to stay invincible. This is not a battle of coolness, although I think WW was a very good game, and didn't put any stock in the graphics (Not like I ever do). It's not a fucking cartoon. Look at the end. A sword gets stabbed into Ganondorf's head. It's not a cartoon. That doesn't happen in cartoons. Thus, even if YOU think WW Link fails, it has no impact on his abilities. TP Link has: 100 hearts, if you take into account every potion and his 20 default hearts, as well as 5000 rupees of invincibility. They go down fast anyway, but you lose 50 every hit you take. He has no magic, and easily deflected attacks, as well. However, he does have his parry moves (Which won't do too much) Toon Link has: 120 hearts, if you take into account every potion, as well as 6 full magic meters of invincibility, also taking into account his defaults. He also takes damage more slowly (Play WW. It's fucking impossible to die losing 1/4 a heart each hit.) He can't swim, and has his supply of magic arrows. If you really want to be cheap, he can use his instant kill Light Arrows. Seeing as TP link has no Mirror Shield... |

Mortal Draw. GG. And even with six magic meters, they won't last long with the Magic Armor on. Also how can he use Light Arrows when he's spending all of his magic on that armor? |

Easily. Turn off the armor. Or just use it while it's on... Whatever. >_> Besides, Mortal Draw isn't that strong. I used it, and found it very useless. The only technique I actually used was the rolling to the side parry slashy thingy so I could kill Darknuts. Those dicks. |

Mortal Draw isn't strong my ass, it's an insta-kill on anything that isn't a boss. I used it to chip away at the darknut miniboss, actually. Very painful strategy, but rolling behind him wasn't fucking working. |

What ISN'T an instant kill? Just push B repeatedly and stuff dies. Still, Mortal Draw wouldn't kill Toon Link. He'd count as a boss for this sake. Same with TP Link. From either perspective, the other is a boss, thus, instant kills and stealing will not work. (Toon Link has the grappling hook, and can steal). Regardless, this fight is concluded. |
