Another MMO, slightly less grind-y and a bit more strategy-y than Maple Story. Owned and ran by the same company. Mabinogi Give it a shot. I haven't played it yet so I can't attest to quality of the game, but let me put it this way... It's kinda like The Sims, but with more fighting. You eat, and can gain weight if you eat while not hungry. You also age every Saturday, and as you do, your stats go up. You can control every aspect of your appearance, and all sorts of other open ended crap. All in all, it's very open ended. Bear in mind, the client installer is around 900MB, and this is the BETA. Should be fun when it's 2-3 years old, eh? |

Sorry, forgot to mention, you can create your own dungeons. Just find a special altar, and place an item you own on it. It'll be bound to the altar, and a dungeon will be created with that item. You can get the item back. However, if you use something common like a basic healing item, it's likely you'll enter an already inhabited dungeon. Thus, use more unique items like... Well, hell, something rare. >_> |

I just played it for around 30 minutes. It's fucking amazing for an RPG, and has so many intelligent interface options it's just mind blowing. It feels more professional than WoW, even. The skill menu actually shows how close you are to raising your skill. Your skill can be raised at 100 proficiency, but wait until the maximum proficiency is gained, and you can become stronger when you raise it. Proficiency is gained when you complete certain actions, usually involved with that skill. The quest window is portable, hides in the corner, and shows your % towards completing the quest. When you 100% complete a quest, you click the "COMPLETE" button by it to get your reward. No talking to the NPC needed. Hell, you don't even need to talk to BEGIN a quest. All in all, positively amazing and beautiful. I can't believe it's a free MMORPG. Not to mention, there are quite a few titles to earn that provide stat bonuses. Seem familiar? |

Boring? What... The fuck? It's the only legitimately action MMORPG in the world, and you call it fucking boring? You haven't even played it! At least I took a chance. Also, if you're gonna advertise yourself, at least do it right so we don't have to click on it, wait for another window to load, then finally can see it. Waste of my time. |

Kaizo kills you after the level is over on occasion. Kaizo 2 does so on the first level if you don't jump to the left immediately. |

Yeah, but does Kaizo have you fight a boss that is a bigger douche than Hobo was to you, with no attack pattern, and all his attacks reduce you by half your health before you get raped by slimes as the level finishes? Seriously, as the level said "Stage Clear!", I died to all the slime minions. Then it said "Oh shit, stage not cleared. STAGE FAILED." So yeah. Fuck that. Play Mabinogi, TUM. I need someone to explore dungeons with. Or play instruments with. Or something. >_> |

Funny, because the bastard just makes more and more every time you kill them. He makes like 30 every time he summons more. Besides, I forgot. I think it was a giant mushroom, not a slime. Still, the bastard killed me too many times, and I just quit the bullshit. Seriously, it's like MS but without invincibility frames when you get hit. >_> |
