I've seen 4. And they're legit MMOs. Not like Puzzle Pirates. >_> |

what <_< Puzzle Pirates is probably more of an MMO than 99% of games on the internet, considering teamwork's such a large part of the game. It's most certainly not the whole "slash dragons and quest" shit, but that was never the definition of MMOs from day one. I mean you could call IRC an MMO with enough imagination. If you wanted. |

I prefer "MMO" being only before "RPG". Puzzle Pirates feels to me more like an online puzzle game. Under that logic, UT2004 is an MMO. So is Half-Life. |

Ummm... Yeah, pretty much. Though... not really... I mean, MMO stands for "Massively Multiplayer Online". In order to be "Massively Multiplayer", you need hundreds of players, capable of interacting at the same time. Sure, Halo 3 has hundreds of people on at any one time, but you can only interact with up to 15 other players at one time. Brawl will clearly have enormous numbers of people playing at the same time online, but you can only interact with up to 3 other players, therefore it does not qualify for MMO status. |

In UT2004, I've seen 128 vs 128 matches. It's an MMO, thusly. |

It takes a ton of setup and coordination, but it's been done on some chaotic onslaught matches. VERY chaotic matches. >_> |

I'd imagine so. 128 people vs 128 people in a fucking huge FPS with some of the craziest weapons ever is naturally going to be extremely chaotic. |
