Can you tell me what "thousand years" is in Spanish, and "blink of an eye" in French?

Also, no online translators plz.

I am a fish.
I know the Spanish. It's Mil Años.

Mil = 1000
Años = Years

Although, don't get lazy and just type "Anos". It means "Anus". You do NOT want to say something has a thousand anuses. >_>

Like, when you ask someone "Cuantos años tienes?", you ask them how old they are. Instead, if you ask "Cuantos anos tienes?", you're asking how many asses they have, which they'll almost always respond with "Tengo uno anos". Hopefully.

Fix'd.

Don't know how to say 'brain'. Also, the correct way to ask the question I assume you are asking is "¿Cuantos anoses tienes?" 'Anos' seems to be the singular form, so you'd add an 'es' to the end, based on the ending being a consonant when you want it to be plural.

Well, either all of my hispanic spanish teachers were wrong, or an obscure message board companion of mine is right. If I recall, anos is simply the singular and plural form of that word because it already ends with an s, and in Spanish you don't toss in apostrophes to fix that.

Rules of pluralization:

Vowel: Add S
Consonant (Not S or Z): Add ES
S: Do nothing
Z: Change to CES

Ano = Singular
Anos = Plural

I have only one anus.

Yo nada mas tengo un ano.

That's all.

I thought that you added an 'es' to Spanish words that end with an 's' to pluralize them.

Heh. Guess I was wrong.

You don't even know anything similar to "blink of an eye"? Like "three seconds" or something?
