Precisely, which is why time would stop if you did. Now then... *Puts up a sign that says "No Hobos, friends of hobos, or people named "Storm" are allowed in this topic"* Now either get out, or I'll make an AIM/MSN account for the sheer purpose of bugging Lego until he comes and boots you out himself. |

Ubercharacters, as defined by me, are characters (created by authors) that have abilities that are considered high enough to BS oneself out of a sticky situation, instead of having to think things through, make tough decisions, and follow guidelines and rules set down by the general community. (By 'BS', I mean to easily remove oneself.) |

Except that... you know... The final, ultimate, super pwnage mode of Shadowlyger? 1. His theme music is a Bruce Faulconer song. 2. He can defeat the Master/s. Easily. That's a "Last Resort Only" thing, though, because the mere ascension to said form obliterates a couple dozen Everythings. No, you don't have anything at all that can match it. Ever. |

Hmm... You use the term Everythings. Which means they have to be a part of something else even bigger... what happens when an Everything is destroyed? According to the Law of Conservation of Matter, it has to all go somewhere. So does all the matter in the Everythings just go into the realm that separates them from each other? Sorry, I was just thinking outside the box there for a minute... Also, same thing. RULE NUMBER ONE FOR UBERCHARACTERS IS TO NEVER GIVE THEM A SAID LIMIT TO THEIR POWER. OTHERWISE, OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO OBLITERATE THEM EASILY. ME AND MALTESE WOULD KICK LYGER'S ASS. |

This supposed "limit" is Infinity. Like I said, you can't top it. Anyway, an Everything is the biggest measure of "space" before the All, which is... well, literally ALL that exists. It goes... All > Everything > Creation > Existence > Reality > Plane > Dimension > Universe > Galaxies and such. Shadowlyger's real, final "form" (Kekeke...) has enough of an aura to destroy a couple dozen EVERYTHINGS merely by ascending to said "form". And Laws of Conservation of Mass be damned, Shadowlyger thrives on defying th laws of All. That's how he can fly in the first place (By ignoring the current level's laws of Physics and such, but he needs to know what they are first. Hence, if caught in an Everything, Existence, Reality, Plane, Dimension, or Universe he's never been to, his power is drastically lowered. He already knows the laws of the All though, so he's got a permanent advantage there.) |

Actually, doesn't it go more like this? All>Everything>Existence>Neververses>Universes>Planes>Matter-based things Aren't planes part of universes? In one of Lynx's battles, he used Plane Sync, which apparently made him able to shift within planes IN THAT SPOT. So, that tells me that if 200-or-so planes are in a universe, then they're a PART of it. Also, laws of All? It's not like they're displayed on a giant neon-lit board in the middle of nowhere. Since they hold supreme reign over everything, they hold All together. If Lyger ingnored those laws, that would cause All to utterly go amok, thus destroying Lyger himself. |

Shadowlyger: Only the laws of physics. Believe it or not, but there ARE planets in the All that aren't actually inside an Everything at all. Yes, there are wide gaps between Everythings in places. Anyway, Neververses are actually more of "pocket" dimensions, though not in the usual sense, as pocket dimensions are usually relatively small; Neververses are quite large. |

In NES, there are many universes. Atomic Inferno uses the term 'neververse' to describe what they all reside in. |

I wasn't planning on posting in this topic, but since you INSIST on assuming what I would do. Yes, I believe ubercharacters have no point. Yes, this is part of what made me leave. No, I don't seem to be able to do a thing about this because from what I'm seeing, you just love to argue endlessly about it even though discussions like this go absolutely nowhere (except maybe backwards). There. That's my opinion. I could go in depth about why I feel that way, but I know no one's going to give a shit, and I don't even know why I even said that anyway, so I'm just going to leave now. *poof* |

*Cares* Well, actually, I know why they're pointless. There's only a certain point power can reach, and ubercharacters reach that power limit, and act like it's their minimum. Their power never increases. It really annoys me too, but what am I gonna do? Yell at 2 active members and 1 decently active member? Nah. They aren't worth it. Just let this topic fester. Pin it so they have a place to direct their godmodding energy. As far as my Guitar Hero energy, there's no need to direct it elsewhere, because the only thing on my mind is a person who I won't be able to see again for 2 days. >_> |

The fun comes from describing it. Hell, sometimes when I'm bored, I'll think of a random character from a random series (Or something like that) and being listing out details about them and their attacks. In my mind. I may never actually put these things down in writing, but it sure as hell staves off boredom. |

When I'm bored, I make up example enemies for my characters to face and in my mind, see whether they'd win or lose, WHY, and then revise my characters to be able to take on more types of enemies. But I agree with TUM, in the fact that it's fun to describe how and why our characters would win against others. Personally, Zack Lumittae isn't as really FUN for me to use, as much as another character I'm planning on unveiling, because his style of battle is much more varied, random, and able to adapt, whereas Zack is fixed to just his sword(s), a few Byakurais, Ceros, and a shitload of speed and uberenergy attacks. |
