I am a fish.
The best part is, Yiazmat raises his level to 146 when he has 25% of his health. >_>
At least he doesn't have Bubble. Bubble doubles the Max HP of the user. If he had Bubble, you'd have to fight through all that HP again. >_>

Here's some Final Boss stats if you want to compare. >_>

Those piercing spells decimate your party. They do over 3k damage to everyone. It's a 3 hit kill, and that's with 9999 HP. Omega does around 3000 every physical hit, and he only hits one. The downside is the fact that he attacks stupidly fast. >_> Yiazmat just has a ton of HP, the other stats don't matter much aside from when he raises his level.

The final battle consists of 4 parts. If you don't care about spoilers, I'll post the other 3 fights.

Besides, some RPGs have a history of easy final bosses. Tales of Symphonia, for example....

Note: Short time is a relative turn. Those shielding spells last for like 5 minutes. >_>

Here's some status effects.

Bad ones:
Darkness: Hit rate is drastically reduced.
Poison: You will take damage gradually equal to 2% of your MaxHP.
Sap: Your HP will drop slowly but surely.
Sleep: You cannot move or act.
Silence: You cannot cast magic.
Petrify: You will turn to stone when the timer reaches 0.
Stone: You cannot move or act, due to being turned to stone.
Slow: You require more time to take actions.
Stop: You cannot move or act.
Disease: A disease festers in your body. You cannot be healed.
Decoy: You will be targeted by all enemies. The game thinks it's a bad thing.
Reverse: The effects of damage and healing are reversed.
Confuse: You will attack allies.
Disable: You cannot act.
Immobilize: You cannot move.
KO: You cannot move or act.
Doom: You will be KO'd when the timer reaches 0.
HP Critical: You have critical HP. You still fight normally.

Good ones:
Protect: Target takes 50% less physical damage.
Shell: Target takes 50% less magickal damage.
Reflect: Magicks bounce off it's target.
Berserk: Increases speed by 100%, and Attack power by 50%. Lose control of the character.
Invisible: You cannot be targeted by foes.
Bravery: Greatly raises physical attack power.
Faith: Greatly raises Magickal attack power.
Paling: ENEMY ONLY! Become immune to physical attacks.
Magick Shield: ENEMY ONLY! Become immune to magickal attacks.
Libra: You can see enemy stats.
Bubble: Max HP is doubled.
Haste: Reduces action time by 50%

I can't think of anymore of them.
