It's baaaaaack! :) After Olimar and Louie left to return the treasures, probably awaiting another mission to the Pikmin planet, new creatures started to appear. At first, they were weak and worthless. Then... They fought deadly creatures, slowly becoming stronger and stronger, until... They were Nightmare Beasts. You are one such creature. You start as a simple, weak, probably made-up creature. As you gain EXP for defeating creatures, you will level up and becoming slowly stronger. In the beginning, you could barely kill a Dwarf Red Bulborb. Soon, at a very high level, you will be able to hold off armies of Cannon Beetles and the strongest of bosses. But a new threat is rising... Stats: There are 5 stats, HP, AT, DEF, EXP, and LVL. I will explain all of these. Your HP is how much health you have. If your health hits 0, which you probably won't let happen, you will be knocked out and unable to post with that character for 24 hours. This can go up as you gain levels. Your AT, or attack level, is how much damage you can do. As your AT goes up, you can deal more damage. Pretty simple, really. This also can go up as you gain levels. Your DEF, or defense, is how much of damage you can deflect. If you have 2 DEF and your opponent hits 5, you only take 3 damage, because 5 - 2 = 3. This goes up as you gain levels, but you need to save up levels for quite some time... EXP is the most important stat. As you kill enemies, you get more EXP (expierience) depending on the strength of the enemy. Once your EXP reaches a certain number, you gain a level. LVL is your level. This is the point of the game. As your EXP reaches the proper number, you gain a level and get one point. You can save up on points and use them to increase your HP, AT, or DEF. Once you reach a level, your EXP restarts, only you need more EXP. As you reach a level, you can also get new attacks and make your creature change to look more fearsome. Very important! Choosing Stats: This is the most important part of the start of the game. You have 10 points to spend on choosing your starting stats. Here they are: HP starts at 10. Spend 1 point to increase by 2. AT starts at 1. Spend 3 points to increase by 1. DEF starts at 0. Spend 5 points to increase by 1. EXP requires you to get 10 EXP to reach level 2, and then you will need 10 more for the next level. Spend 5 points to only raise by 5 every level. Attacks: You may have two of the following: Attacks either match your attack level with an average special feature (stuns, poisons, hurts everyone in the area) or is one more than your attack level. As you gain levels, you can get better attacks. Every five levels you may choose to get a weak attack. Weak attacks are either matching your attack level or are less then your attack level with a weak special feature (stuns for a short time, poisons mildly). If you don't want a weak attack, wait another five levels, ten total, and you maybe choose to get a medium attack, which you already have two of. Medium attacks are either matching your attack level with an average special feature (stuns, poisons, hurts everyone in the area) or is one more than your attack level. OR you can wait a total of fifteen levels and get one strong attack! A strong attack is either matching your attack level with a strong special feature (damage all enemies in a good distance, badly poisons, stuns for a long long time) or it can be one to three morth than your attack level. Using Levels: Each time you gain a level, you get one point. You can save up your points or use them instantly. You can spend them on the following things: 1 point to increase HP by 2. 2 points to increase AT by 1. 3 points to increase DEF by 1. Sign-ups: Name: Species: Description: HP: AT: DEF: EXP: 0/? LVL: 1 Attacks: My Sign-up: Name: Storm Species: Thumb Snagret Description: A Thumb Snagret is a much smaller version of a Burrowing Snagret that can hop on it's foot. It's the size of Olimar. HP: 14/14 AT: 2 DEF: 0 EXP: 0/10 (bonus added) LVL: 1 Attacks: Peck: +1 AT, a quick peck that does some damage. Stomp: +0 AT, I hop on my one foot and anyone I hit is stunned for a short time. /\/Storm\/\ Snagrets were easy prey. Especially me. Why were Snagrets easy prey? Because Pikmin were running around like crazy now, and they are just about the only creatures that are good at killing us. But I was even more doomed. I was tiny. Hopping around was slow, but I couldn't see where I was going underground. All I could do was eat Sheargrubs, which didn't seem present today in the Awakening Woods. All I saw were Burrow-nits, which I skillfully dodged, and Creeping Chrysanthemums, which I not-so-skillfully dodged. I was getting far from home, but this was where the Sheargrubs were. The weak, females, that is. Once again, I found myself questioningly looking at the strange markings on the ground just nearby, as if some just Beady Long Legs had landed there. But now felt different. The Sheargrubs were gone, and the Bulborbs only remained. How was I going to manage eating the Dwarf Bulborbs, those food thiefs, with the Red Bulborb just near them? I shook my head in disgust and moved on. I passed through some water and up onto a ledge. Something was wrong. The branch above me was swaying, yet there was no wind. Then I heard familiar singing... A blue Pikmin jumped down from above (HP 5, AT 1, DEF 0, EXP 2), followed by three more. I sprung into action. I pecked at one and stomped on two more. I bit fiercly, only to be stopped by a Pikmin jumping on my face. I shook it off, after two small whacks, and bit at them again, stomping any in sight. Two down, two more to go. They both jumped on me. I shook them off, but they got back on. I shook and stomped, sending them flying backwards. I bit into them, easy prey. HP: 8/14 AT: 2 DEF: 0 EXP: 8/10 LVL: 1 Attacks: Peck: +1 AT, a quick peck that does some damage. Stomp: +0 AT, I hop on my one foot and anyone I hit is stunned for a short time. |

Then why did it take you more than a month and a half to reply to it? |

TUM, Hins doesn't come around that much. Also, Pikmin RPGs and RPs do NOT belong in the RPs forum and vise versa. |
