The only metal-head on the board?

From: blackforestrifle | Posted: 9/2/2005 1:47:26 PM | Message Detail I've been tossing ideas around for a while, and since ToS is such and awesome game, I've decided to write a fic. But then again, my laziness might win out on this one. I'm wondering, whadda you think I should do? I've decided a couple things.... 5 years after...... Revolves around the Army of the Dead, The Fallen..... antagonist and leader, Chalad'Gia...... Dragons of Kylyldor, Ristar, Kensta, Galraega, the Wyverns, the Drakandra Knights, ally themselves with the Fallen, and they begin seige on Aselia for purposes unknown, possibly to rule.... Niflheim rises and fights alongside the Fallen and the Dragons of Kylyldor..... a strange one named Razzak appears, befriends, and fights with the protagonists for rather unclear reasons.... It is revealed that a greater force is controlling the Fallen, the Dragons of Kylyldor, and Niflheim, and the plot begins to shift.... The Summon Spirit of The End, the "opposite" of both Origin and Maxwell, is revealed to be involved..... the "Greater Force" shows himself, and is revealed to be from a completely different world: An alien threat, And he reveals that he holds the power of The Summon Spirit of the End..... Antagonist is revealed to actually being manipulated by The Summon Spirit of the End.... The Antagy begins playing mind games with the protys, and manages to turn one of them over to his side.... The Antagys intentions are revealed: why he keeps playing mind games, why he is attempting to wipe Aselia of all life and rebuild it as his own, why he is causing the protys to wallow in despair and sadness and hatred, etc..... Razzak is revealed to be of the same origin and species as the Antagy..... they all follow the Antagy to Razzak's homeplanet..... They fight, etc etc...... <_< It's all really a huge mess in my mind right now. I'm still organizing it, I'm still adding ideas, I've decided on the names of a whole bunch of things, including the Antagonist and the Summon Spirit, and what exactly the Antagonist is. So..... Should I begin planning? I intend to start some of it here.... but I may need some inspiration, and some ideas. Anyone willing? =\? </confusing, incoherent, fulloftyposx.x> --- Nintendo: You were the chosen one! You were supposed to destroy Microsoft, not join them! Rare: I HATE YOU! A hooded figure paced around a small rock platform. His current locale appeared to be inside a colossal volcano - one the size of possibly a third of all Symphonia. Sparks flew in all directions, and there were occasional bursts of lava at random intervals. Rock walls frequently cracked, and collapsed, falling into the lava below. Sometimes, the volcano trembled violently, nearly throwing the hooded figure off-balance and off the stone platform - It gave the impression that the volcano was about to erupt. The figure was not concerned about that right now. He looked up, at whatever was looking down at him. And overlooking the platform was... A massive, brown-scaled wyvern, one at least the size of a mountain. It had formidable claws and teeth, lethal-looking horns, gargantuan, leathery wings, each one a least the size of the dragon itself. It stood there, looking down upon the hooded figure. It's teeth were bared, eyes narrowed, and it was flexing its claws. It's wings occasionally flapped, sending gusts of hot wind at the rock platform - It was as if the wyvern wished to blow the figure off the platform and into the lava below. But the figure remained rooted in his spot. He appeared to be a human, but he gave off, quite literally, an "aura of strangeness." The figure spoke, "Ra... You know what is at stake. For so long, your kin, your people, have hidden away from the world, fearing extinction. Those that wander out into Symphonia, the brave and foolish alike, meet cruel fates. They die, are taken as, I don't know, circus creatures, and are forced to fight one another and other creatures for the entertainment of humans..." he left off there The wyvern, apparently named Ra, gave a low growl. The man gave a small smile, but it was not visible beneath the shadow of his hood. "In fact, I recall one of your closest being twisted into a monster, a phenomenon, an undead dragon. He lost all memory, and did only what he was told. He went through such pain..." The man only tensed slightly when Ra began to growl louder and more threateningly, "And he only died soon after. A cruel fate, no?" Quite suddenly, Ra gave a mighty roar. The entire volcano shook. Stalactites, rocks, dust, and debris rained from the ceiling, and plummeted into the lava below. Ra gave another roar, and the interior volcano began to shake with such force that the man had to bend down to stabilize himself. Ra lashed out at thin air, then slowly began to calm down. Teeth still bared, he wrapped his wings around him - almost like a cloak - and began to stare at the man once more. A glint of anger still shone in his eyes. The man slowly stood, and only chuckled. He then continued, "Remember what I am offering you. If you help me, your people will no longer have to continue to live in this submerged rock. You will not have to fear being wiped out any longer. And you will be able to freely roam and soar across the skies, which were and are rightfully yours, once more. All you need to do, is to offer help, to me." --- Nintendo: You were the chosen one! You were supposed to destroy Microsoft, not join them! Rare: I HATE YOU! From: blackforestrifle | Posted: 9/5/2005 6:43:57 AM | Message Detail The man stopped at that. Ra considered. They, the Dragons of Kylyldor, had indeed been living in these large, connecting, underwater caves for at least four thousand years. Dragons were meant to fly, not live grounded, stuck to rot in cave dwellings. This was not their way of living. They were not Dwarves. Only one place in the system of caves offered ample flying space, and it was this very volcano. Ra looked up. Laying above him was the volcano's opening - The only entrance into the outside world of what was now called Symphonia. Light poured in from beyond. Ra longed to stretch his wings and fly after all these thousands of years. He longed to freely fly across the sky alongside his kin. He wished to feel the freeing sensation of gliding on the wind without a care in the world... Ra nearly whimpered - Very uncharacteristic for a dragon, especially one of such size and ferociousness. It was uncharacteristic for a dragon altogether. However, this volcano, while large enough for his kin to fly in, was too confined for him to fly in. Stalagmites and stalactites prevented him from spreading his wings and flying freely. He would have crushed and reduced them to ashes long ago, but he knew that they were a vital part of the volcano's structure - If he destroyed enough, the volcano, and the system of caves, would collapse, and his kin would die. The man looked at Ra intently. The wyvern seemed to be considering. The man smiled wider. If he succeeded here, then all that would remain would be Niflheim... Ra then decided. He may not be able to trust the offer, but he would take it. Besides, if the man betrayed his word, Ra could easily slaughter him. In that event, the humans and elves may have not been wiped out. Then he and his kin would be forced to remain in this forsaken place for all eternity. But there was still a chance that the humans and elves would all be subdued by this man. Could he really accomplish such a feat? If Ra offered his help, the man stood a chance, but yet, this man did not seem to be your average human... Ra growled in a tone of approval. He was a good leader for his kin, and he cared for them dearly. Yes, he would accept the offer, and if he made the agreement on certain conditions, there was almost nothing to lose... Ra then looked down at the man, and began to growl, grunt, whisper, hiss - He began to speak in Dragon Tongue. The man listened to the words, and, mentally translated - "I will help you, but heed my words. If you cause many of my kin to die, I will see to it that the last thing you ever see is the back of your spine..." The man smiled. Success. He almost laughed in elation. The man walked towards the edge of the platform, and spoke, "Hmm, very well. The we have an agreement. The last thing you'll need to do now his hold out your claw to me..." Ra's eyes widened in surprise. A human? Understand Dragon Tongue? Ra was suspicious, but held out his claw, nevertheless. The man placed his hand on the black, shining, and lethal-looking claw. He began to chant in a strange language - It couldn't be angelic, elven, or Dragonic. It couldn't be any language on this planet. But then again, Ra had been away from the world for four thousand years... Quite suddenly, a massive shock wave of orange light bloomed to life - Right from the man's hand - and burst outward with astounding speed and force. The volcano shook wildly, and Ra expected it to tear apart everything in its path - Including him. Instead, it passed harmlessly through him, and dissipated when it slowed down near the walls of the volcano. Ra looked down. In his hands was a sphere of sparkling, orange light. The man closed his hands around the sphere, and it disappeared. From: blackforestrifle | Posted: 9/5/2005 6:44:49 AM | Message Detail The man smiled. He laughed slightly, then spoke to Ra, "Hmm.... heh, I give you my thanks. Well now, I must take my leave. Until then, Ra, farewell...." The something quite unexpected happened. Ra recognized from when Mithos became an angel. It was so long ago.... An aura of white light appeared around the man. Glowing white feathers surrounded and circulated around him. Then, white particles of energy began to gather around his back, and bunched together to form the shape of what appeared to be a pair of wings. There was a brief flash of light, and the particles solidified to form pair of feathery white angel wings. The man flapped them once, made a farewell gesture, and he turned and took to the air. He flew up to the highest point of the volcano, and disappeared out into the opening. Ra stood there, astounded and confused at the same time. So, angels seemed to have increased in number while he was isolated from the world. Although, he thought that the angels' wings were made of pure mana? The man's wings seemed to be made of actual feathers, and he made them appear from nowhere! But then again, he and his kin had not seen anything from the outside world for so long, so he assumed it was natural. But nagging thoughts still lingered at the back of his mind as he crawled (With much difficulty) back to his cave. Well, how was it? I'm not going to explain what this plays in the plot. I just want the writing to be seamless. I want it to make as much sense as possible. No confusing stuff. But nagging thoughts still lingered at the back of his mind as he crawled (With much difficulty) back to his cave. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* As the man touched down on the earth, his wings began to dissolve. Once they dissipated, he inserted a hand into his pocket, and began to walk. He was in a beautiful forest - The Ymir Forest. As he walked along a dock, the wooden planks creaked underneath his feet with every step. He stopped to observe the beautiful white, pink, and blue flowers growing around the base of a nearby tree. The man chuckled - Pity the beauty here would soon have to be decimated. He continued to walk, until he reached the end of the dock. As he stood on the edge, he stared down intently into his reflection in the water. As he stared, mana began to gather in the water, and soon, a shimmering, swirling image lay reflected in the liquid. There was a flash of light, and the shimmering image became clear and transparent, reflecting a very peculiar image. It was not the man's reflection, but the image of another. The image was blurred due to the rippling of the water, but within moments, the image clarified. The man found himself staring at two, silver-haired people. They were walking along at a leisurely pace in a forest. One, a boy, was dressed in a blue and white attire. The other, a woman, and obviously older, wore an orange coat with black lining, with a simple white tunic underneath. The man studied both of them. Two words flashed through his mind. The Neglected... Only a moment after, the water rippled, and the image began to transform. As the colors shifted, an image began to take form, reflected in the water. This time, the man found himself looking at two different people. One, a young girl, had pink hair tied into pigtails, wore a simple black skirt (OOC: Dress?), with white gloves and boots. The other, a man, had messy, long blue hair, which obviously had not been attended to for a long time. He had quite a build, and he wore grey pants and a white shirt with a green coat over this. They were both standing in a bright, sunny outdoor area, beholding a single, large stone grave, which sat in the center of the area. From the looks of it, it was silent and tranquil. The two faced each other, and appeared to be conversing. The hooded man narrowed his eyes as he studied both of them. Two words were spoken in his mind - in the voice of an ominous, sinister hiss. The Judged... Once more, the water rippled, and the image began to transform again. The colors began to shift - More violently than before - and the reflection of mana in the water began to flash between images of 4 different people. 2 were male, 2 were female. The first was a cold-faced man - Personality and face possibly hardened by hardships of his past - wearing a purple attire, walking through a desolate, empty, cold-looking city. He had messy, auburn hair, scattered all over the place. His arms were crossed, and he appeared to be staring into space, thinking as he walked. The image flashed, and was replaced by an image of two others. This time, it was both a male and female. The female had raven-colored hair. She wore a blue shirt, and black, skin-tight pants. She had a pink sash around her waist, which was neatly tied into a bow behind her. She was standing in a field, and the sun appeared to be setting. She turned to look at the young teenage male behind her. The male wore a red attire, and had brown hair and eyes. The girl blushed slightly, and smiled. And he smiled back. But the man wasn't the focus of the picture. The picture shifted again. This time, it showed a man. He had red hair, and sapphire blue eyes. He wore pink. A lot of it. The word "stupid" flashed across the hooded man's mind. However, he soon banished that thought when he noticed the man in the image was lying in bed, unconscious. He appeared to be in a coma, but something was strange about him... The hooded man fingered his pocket, noticing how the object within it seemed tremble. Something ominous seemed to hang in the air. The hooded man smiled. Him? Ah, I remember... He should do perfectly... Finally, another flash, and the man found himself staring at a girl. She had long blond hair and sapphire blue eyes. She was dressed in a white and blue attire, and a necklace with a crystal within it hung around her neck. She was sitting on a bench - Where, however, wasn't very clear - alone. The look in her eyes - she appeared to be lonely, sad. She fingered the necklace around her neck, a look of longing in her expression. The man studied the image intently, then once more, the images of the four of them flashed into view in the manner of some sort of flashing slideshow. Finally, the image in the water dissipated, shimmering into nothingness. Again, that hiss... The Fugitives... The man stretched, rather tired, and turned to leave. However, a sharp yell caught his attention. "You! Who are you?!" The hooded man slowly turned his head to the left. Across the water from him stood three elves, each holding a lethal-looking spear. Hostility shone in their eyes, and one of them pointed his spear at the man. "No one may enter this forest unless they have a sign of permission from the king. Leave here, immediately!" The command was forceful, and would have shooed off an ordinary human. But the man remained rooted on the spot. The man smiled, and he lowered his hood. The elves still had their spears pointed threateningly at the man. One elf narrowed his eyes, and yelled. "Go! Or it will cost your life!" At this, the man grinned - Almost cheerfully. All three elves growled, and one of them, using his spear as a magical catalyst, began to chant a spell. "Gentle winds, gather before me, and transform into..." Finally, the man began to laugh. The elf held his spell, curious as to why he was laughing. He was a human - why should he be laughing, when confronted by three elves, each at least twice as strong and fast as him? All three elves suddenly began to notice the abnormality in the mana around the man. They narrowed their eyes, and tried to pick up the source of the strangeness of the mana. They stared at the man, who was still laughing. He managed to gather his wits, and, still smiling, inquired of the elves. "Haha... Tell me, elves, why should one such as I leave this forest? I see no reason to leave yet. It is nice and tranquil here. In fact, I'd like to... take a little walk around..." he widened his smile, "I see no reason to rush and leave. Tell me, elves, can intelligent beings such as you answer for me? Hm?" His question and tone was unbareably taunting. The elves bared their teeth in anger. "We have no reason to explain ourselves! Just do as we say, human!" The man still did not co-operate. One of the elves made a great leap from their dock to the man's dock. The elf landed gracefully beside the man, and held his spear at hte man's throat. "Leave. Now!" He barked. The man merely chuckled, "Ah, actually, I think I'll choose to remain here..." The elf interrupted by drawing his spear back, and thrusting it at the man. But the elf was quickly surprised. The man lashed his hand out at an inhuman speed, and grabbed the spear, stopping it. He then took a leap backwards, and yanked it out of the elf's grasp, at the same time, pulling the elf towards him and causing the elf to trip to the floor. He tossed the spear into the water, and stared down the now-unarmed elf. The elf was shocked, and stumbled away slightly. "No, no, I won't leave," the man chuckled, "I think I'll have a little..... fun....." The elves began to sense the highly unnatural shift in the mana. The elves realized that this man may be a half-elf. Small particles of blue energy gathered around the man's hand. He raised this hand, and clenched it. There was a brief, yet blinding flash of light, and in the man's hand, was now a sword. It had a beautiful, sapphire colored, flat, V-shaped blade that narrowed to the tip. It had an elegantly-designed, detailed azure cross-guard and hilt, with a silver skull for a pommel. In an instant, an invisible force lifted the unarmed elf into the air. He gave a cry of panic, and struggled against it. Without warning, another presence entered his mind, and began to assail his thoughts. The elf began to make sounds of panic, and began to shout incoherently. The man smiled, and without any signs of remorse, he swung his weapon to the left, cleanly decapitating the elf in two. A look of shock flashed across the elf's expression, and then his torso dropped to the floor with a dull and bloody thump, without a sign of life in his eyes. The man, who was still smiling, looked at the other elves. He noticed that a group of more elves were rushing to their aid. He also noticed something else - One of the elves finished his spell. "Cyclone!" The man's eyes widened in surprise, and, reacting quickly, he dashed off down along the dock, and made a great leap onto a tree branch. He turned to face the elf, ignoring the violent Cyclone which was tearing up the docks and slowly becoming a typhoon of sorts. He then summoned up his own spell, without even chanting an incantation. "Absolute!" he cried, raising his left hand. A small gust of wind surrounded the elf who had used Cyclone, along with his companion. They were quick to react, however - They quickly dived backwards before the spot where the gust of wind was suddenly gave a startlingly strong surge, and the area where the 2 elves once stood was instantly encased in ice. They lay on the ground, slightly disoriented. The other elves rushed to their aid, and some chanted spells of their own. "Spiral Flare!" "Atlas!" "Gravity Well!" The man, reacting with astounding speed, quickly leapt onto another nearby tree. The Atlas sliced and shredded the tree, reducing it to splinters, the Spiral Flare blasted apart what remained of the tree, and the Gravity Well tore up the earth and area around it. Then man quickly turned to face the group of elves, and, from his spot on the tree, propelled himself at them by kicking off from the trunk. Using his momentum, he swung his blade as he neared the elves, and swiftly felled 2 of them. Without skipping a beat, he kicked off the ground and at another tree. But halfway towards the tree, he spun in midair, raised his palm at the elves again, and cried. "Grave!" Without warning, a spear of rock shot out from the ground, and tore through the wooden planks above the waterline, launching another elf into the air. Several more spears of rock jabbed at the elf from all sides, impaling and piercing his body without mercy. He gave one last dying cry, before his bloody body went limp. The man gracefully landed on another tree branch, and turned to face the remaining three elves. The sword in his hand suddenly dissipated in a flurry of sparks, and he raised his right hand at the remaining elves. White light began to converge around his palm, and an aura of white light surrounded him. The elves' eyes widened in surprise. Finally, it struck them like Judgment. This man.... Was not Human, nor Elf, nor Half-elf... The man thought for a moment. "Hehe.... This is quite entertaining indeed. I wonder... If it would be okay if I made myself known? Start a rumor, maybe? Perhaps not, for I still have work to be done. The last thing I need are hordes of humans and elves chasing me to all the way to the edge of the damn planet. I must be secretive about this," the man narrowed his eyes, "So I must deal with this situation quickly..." Then, then man spoke in a Tongue the elves had never heard of before. "Rista, areya nu'oor ceya ih tsa ka'rn ntsasa!...." He then gave a mighty cry. An incredible and massive burst of mana emanated from him, and the elves trembled in terror and anticipation as he roared, "Punishment Divine!" *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* (A/N?: Warning, this one is stupid. XD) "Raine..... Could you teach me how to use healing spells?" Genis inquired this over camp later that night. After trekking through a forest, they had set up camp right outside the borderline of trees. After setting up the tents and starting a fire, Genis began to make dinner. Half-way through eating, Genis had inquired this of Raine seemingly out of nowhere. Raine had never expected Genis to ask a question like this. "White magic?" Raine asked. "Er, yeah. I've been wondering for a long time. Since we don't have the Rehairds anymore, we have to travel by land." Genis said. Raine raised an eyebrow, "And?" "Well, we've been having a difficult time traveling from city to city lately, so I figured that it might've... I dunno, come in handy." Raine looked at the thirteen year-old boy sitting in front of her. Genis had indeed changed. He wasn't always logic this time, and now he was thinking more outward. Raine smiled slightly, and said, "You want to learn healing arts because you think that if I were ever in trouble, you'd need to heal me, right?" "Um, yeah..." Raine stood up, and slowly paced around the campsite. "Alright, but you know that healing arts are far more difficult then offensive magic. You sure you won't laze out half-way through?" Genis flushed ever so slightly, but said, "I'm sure." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Martel, the Spirit of the Great Tree, isn't the only deity." Razzak explained. "What?!" Everyone, excluding Kratos, Yuan, and Regal (Who merely widened their eyes in surprise), chorused. "Well, that is to say, not the only one in existence. A more specific term for what deities are is what our scholars back on Uron'Thaea call them. We call them Embodiments of Mana." Everyone else was listening with great interest - Raine, however, was staring bug-eyed at Razzak - She was still baffled at the fact of everything about how they were related to Salevayjianes, Embodiments of Mana, and so on - So she stood there, drinking in every bit of information. "These Embodiments are what you would call the Gods or Goddesses, a simpler term for them. Anyways, there are four Gods and Goddesses - Martel, Goddess of Creation, Vuhldreygah, God of the Elements, Iras Nohrvindra, Goddess of (OOC: Uh, here's a filler for ya. Emotions, Integrity, I dunno. Need ideas. <_<; ) and Tempus, God of Time. From their titles, you obviously know what they do, like how Martel creates things and stuff, Tempus watches over and keeps the flow of time in check and makes sure it doesn't go all wack, and, eh, you get the idea." Everyone was mildly baffled at Razzak's choice of words, but let him continue. "So," Razzak continued, stretching his limbs and his demonic wings, "I might as well explain how the Salevayjianes on this planet devolved into humans. Anyway, about, I dunno, a couple of million years ago-" Everyone's jaws dropped, with the exception of Kratos and Yuan. "-Salevayjianes descended upon this planet in a similar fashion to the elves - They were looking for a place to settle. Although how they got there, that knowledge was lost long ago, but there are many theories on it ("About, gah, a bazillion of them, some of them being completely out of this world and notoriously idiotic." Razzak quickly muttered under his breath). So - The Salevayjianes descend, the Gods and Goddesses come with them, and they skippy-doo around in harmony for about a million years. Soon, though, the Goddess Martel suddenly died, y'know, in a Godly-like way..." Razzak noticed everyone looking at him with their eyebrows raised, "Um, er, I mean, that the Goddess, uh, disappeared, or, got, k-kinda, uh... you get the idea!" Razzak shouted, waving his arms around. Razzak settled down, and cleared his throat in a business-like fashion, "So basically, the Goddess disappeared. This was due to the fact that the planet had a small supply of Mana. There wasn't enough Mana for the Gods to sustain themselves, so they had to leave, quickly. In their rush to leave, they left quite a few of stragglers behind. Also, they left behind the magical remains of the Goddess, which lay there, waiting for a strong enough source of Mana so that she could be reborn. So the situation - the stragglers are forced to survive. But Salevayjianes draw in a large amount of Mana into their bodies to sustain their forms. And there wasn't quite enough Mana on the planet at that time. In short, the Salevayjianes begin to devolve over time, losing their wings, their enhanced senses, and becoming humans. But the process of devolving took millions and millions of years, so they had plenty of time to increase in number. Soon enough, however, they began to lose their ability to live for insanely long periods of time - a hundred thousand years, actually - And so they had a harder time trying to keep up their numbers. Not only that, but their memories of their times as Salevayjianes disappeared." "And so come the elves. They descend with their big-ass tree and plant it. Ironically, though, they planted it on the exact same place where the Remains of the Goddess lay sleeping. She reawakened, but she was bound to the Tree, as the Tree was the reason she reawakened. However, she held little memory of the events those eons ago. Instead, she opted to give the planet, which we now know as Symphonia, life. She, drawing off Mana from the Giant Tree, and using her own incredible power, created three Summon Spirits - Origin, Maxwell, and another, whose name currently escapes me right now." Razzak scratched the back of his head, "Anyway, Martel put so much power in to creating these Spirits, that she lost a small portion of her own, but nevertheless, she was still quite powerful. But Martel made a critical mistake. The last Summon Spirit, who was said to be the Summon Spirit of Death, the final step in completing the cycle of life, was almost as powerful as Martel herself. The Summon Spirit, angry about the fact that Martel wouldn't reveal his purpose to him, tried to destroy the Goddess. She, Origin, and Maxwell were forced to seal him away, in short, so all would be goody goody for the next few thousand years." "Then Martel continued to create the other Summon Spirits, who control the Mana of their respective element. They helped in creating more life for the planet, and, uh, you can use your imagination at this point - The world is all goody at this point. So, Martel, working through the Tree, watched over the world. Then goes the Kharlan War, the Goddess Martel disappears again, and then goes the entire Cruxis fiasco. However, something terrible happened, going unnoticed during Cruxis' reign. The Summon Spirit of Death managed to escape his Seal, which is seemingly impossible. This is because his power was completely subdued the moment he was Sealed." Everyone was now like Raine - They were drinking in the information like people who hadn't drank any water for years. They were tense, and so focused on the subject that Razzak had to fight down the urge to poke one of them in the eye. Or smack them, for that matter. "Now, do you know what that meant?" asked Razzak, directing his question to Sheena in particular, who shook her head, "Well, this meant that anyone who had the ability to Summon could form a pact with the Summon Spirit of Death - Without having to fight, since the Summoner would have already been more powerful than the weakened Summon Spirit of Death in the first place. Of course the Summon Spirit of Death would be largely useless to Summoners, due to his weakness. However, there is one way the Summon Spirit of Death, who I will refer to as Death for the time being, could regain his power - If he formed a pact with one whose soul was consumed by darkness, he could slowly destroy the soul, and take control of the body, being the Summon Spirit of Death, Destruction, Chaos, Malevolence, and some other titles that escape my mind as of now. Moving on - as he gains more control and manipulation over the pact-maker's mind, he gains more of his former power back, because he is coming closer back to the real world. Thus, he outputs his power through the pact-maker, who becomes ferociously strong due to Death's influence. Once he gains absolute control over the the body, he transfers his spirit from his Prison to the body, and escapes through it. Not only that, but he also inherits all of the pact-maker's power as he escapes, meaning he can become far stronger than he was from long ago, depending on the power of the pact-maker." Suddenly, Kratos raised his hand, gesturing for Razzak to stop. Razzak complied, and folded his wings, waiting for Kratos to speak. "Razzak, we appreciate the history lesson, but why are you telling this to us? Not only does it not explain why you are here, but it also just opens path to more questions. Cut to the chase - Why are you here?" Razzak made a friendly gesture that looked like a shrug, "You honestly want to know?" he said, raising an eyebrow. The Seraphim merely stayed silent. Razzak then shrugged - A real one, "Oy, you're that insistent?" Slowly, Kratos nodded. Razzak paced over to the window, and looked outside. His face was suddenly downcast, his eyes partially obscured by his hair, and he sighed. The sudden change in Razzak's mood was unusual. Everyone leaned forward in anticipation of an answer. Razzak, through gritted teeth, said "The Summon Spirit of Death has found a host - the very same one who stole the Srysaylga." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* This was truly going to be an arduous battle. Neither of them had ever fought a battle such as this. Abyssion, even Mithos, had nothing on this guy. Lloyd, Colette, Zelos, Kratos, and Yuan all had their wings out, and were going head on against Raiga. Raine held back, staff at ready to heal anyone who fell, while Genis stood on the sidelines, casting every spell he could throw at Raiga. Presea, whenever Raiga came in reach, tried to swing her axe at him, but he was always too fast. Regal was going head on against Raiga along with the angels. Sheena was trying to summon Origin, but some of Raiga's attacks were so earth-shaking that she was always thrown off balance before she could finish. Raiga leaped into the air and slammed his black zweihander into the ground, creating small tremors. Zelos took this time to strike Raiga. However, before his blade reached Raiga, Raiga swung his zweihander, kicking up flurries and chunks of rocks. The red-haired Chosen was caught off-guard, and hastily stopped to cast Guardian. Raiga took this chance to dash at Zelos, and knocked him away with the hilt of his massive blade. Colette was after Raiga next. She threw a star into the air, and shouted, "Stardust Cross!" A small storm of stars flew at Raiga. He was caught by surprise, and was pummeled by tons of silly-looking stars. Raiga growled, and leaped into the air, raising his zweihander. "Isis Blade!" he cried. A circle of made of light suddenly materialized in front of him. He then swung his blade at the circle, shattering it. What happened next however, could only be described as devastating. There was an incredible burst of energy, and shortly after, a flaming blast of light energy was fired at Colette, tearing apart the earth around it as it traveled along the ground. Colette, not finding the time to dodge nor put up a defense, merely crossed her chakrams in front of her feebly. As the blast closed in, Lloyd saw this, and made a dash towards Colette. Just as the wave of energy was about to engulf her, Lloyd gathered up the blond-haired girl in his arms, and dashed off. The blast of energy continued traveling along the ground, causing the earth to shake as it did. Soon, however, it died out, and all that was left was an enormous fissure in the earth. Lloyd set Colette down on the ground as she weakly whispered, "Thanks." Lloyd nodded, and turned to Raiga, teeth gritted angrily. As Raiga touched down upon the ground, Lloyd flapped his enormous wings once, then dashed at Raiga with incredible speed. As Lloyd closed in on Raiga, he cried, "Demonic Tiger Blade!" Lloyd sent several blasts of energy using his blade at Raiga, who merely held up his sword to defend against the attack. Then Lloyd leaped upwards, and as he descended upon Raiga, his sword began to pulsate with energy. He then slammed his blade upon the earth, creating a small burst of energy, attempting to hit Raiga. However, Raiga managed to dodge in time, and quickly raised his hand to cast a spell. In no less than a second, he cried, "Spread!" A pool of mana-enriched water suddenly formed around Lloyd. The water suddenly shot upwards like a geyser, sending Lloyd into the air. He managed to recover in midair by flipping around, and flapping his wings to steady himself. Raiga, however, wasn't done yet. "Photon!" A sphere made of light formed around Raiga's outstretched palm. It then left his palm, and flew at Lloyd like a cannonball. It made contact, and engulfed Lloyd. Lloyd felt a searing pain in every inch of his body. Lloyd cried out, and the Photon suddenly exploded, sending Lloyd flying back to the earth. Kratos ran forward to catch his falling son. Kratos managed to catch Lloyd in his arms before he hit the ground. Raine came running over, looking rather panicky. As Raine and Kratos did their best to heal up Lloyd, Regal, Yuan, Presea, Zelos, and Razzak did their best to hold off Raiga's ferocious attacks. Raine shakily whispered a healing spell, with Kratos aiding, "Healing Circle!" "First Aid!" A blue circle of light formed around Lloyd, while a green light entered his body, rushing through it, relieving the pain. Raine gasped, while Kratos narrowed his eyes. "Damn," Kratos said angrily, "That Photon spell was incredibly powerful. We need a bit more put into this..." Raine yelled for Zelos, who was currently trying to cast a spell. Zelos stopped casting, and turned his attention to Raine. Raine waved for Zelos to come over, who quickly complied by flying over. As he touched down beside Raine, he had a nag to say something Zelosy about Raine. Sensing this, Raine shot Zelos a glare, and merely said, "Help me." Zelos grinned rather sheepishly, and turned his attention to Lloyd. All at once, Kratos, Zelos, and Raine, shouted their own healing spell. "Healing Wind!" "Healing Stream!" "Revive! ((A/N: In case you don't know, this is Raine's most powerful S-type spell, and is more powerful than Resurrection))" As a rainbow aura entered Lloyd and began rushing throughout his body, mana enriched water, glowing an unearthly blue, took form around him, healing him. At the same time, a green wind billowed around Lloyd, helping in the healing process. Lloyd, who was breathing rigidly and gasping hard with pain the entire time, suddenly eased. Relief from the intense pain filled his body, and he sighed, still breathing hard, but not as much as before. Meanwhile, with the battle Raiga, things weren't looking too good. As Regal ran up to Raiga, there was a flash of light where Raiga was standing, and he disappeared. There was another flash of light, and Raiga reappeared behind Regal. Raiga smiled slightly, and another blade - a blue one - materialized in his right hand. He then cried, "Inner Beast!" Both sword and zweihander outstretched, Raiga spun around, creating a small gust of wind that revolved around him multiple times. Regal turned just in time to see Raiga swing his blade. An image of a lion's head suddenly lashed out at Regal, and next thing he knew, he found himself flying at Sheena. "-ven and earth, the ruler of-Argh!" Regal crashed into Sheena, whose casting was interrupted for the umpteenth time. She grunted with pain, and threw Regal off of her. She stood up, growling in frustration. "Grr! How come every time I try to cast something, there's always something coming at me to stop it!?" she snarled, a snarl of anger that had earned her the name "Violent Demonic Banshee" from Zelos. She suddenly stopped her fit of anger when she noticed Regal, who was on the ground, groaning with pain. Sheena bent over Regal, and moved his arm experimentally. She grimaced when she saw how it could move and bend at awkward angles. "Don't worry, it's just a few broken bones," Sheena thought feverishly to herself. "Ouch, that looks like that hurts..." Sheena looked at some of the massive bruises covering Regal's body. Something else that she noticed was that Regal was unconscious. Sheena gritted her teeth, and began to call for Raine. Just a ways off, Kratos, Zelos, and Raine heard Sheena's calls for help. Raine looked at Zelos and Kratos. "You two look after Lloyd. I'll see what's going on with Sheena." Raine then rushed off hurriedly in the direction of Sheena's calls. Before Zelos could say anything, Kratos said, "Look after Lloyd for me. Make sure he doesn't die..." Kratos unsheathed his Last Fencer with a flourish, and dashed back towards the battle. Zelos pouted. "Aww man, why do I have to be the one that looks after Lloyd? Jeez..." Despite that, Zelos continued watching Lloyd, ready to heal should he need to. Meanwhile, Presea, Genis, Yuan, and Razzak, were having a hard time trying to keep up with Raiga's onslaught of attacks. Raiga had a very peculiar fighting style. Instead of mere slashing, he constantly twirled and spun his blades around his body with such precision that he managed to block every attack sent at him while crippling any who stood in the path of his furious spinning. And all the while, he managed to kick up rocks while twirling his blades around, repelling anyone who got too close for comfort. Everyone else circled Raiga. If they got too close, they'd either get pummeled by rocks or get caught in Raiga's whirlwind of blades, thus getting themselves slashed to death. Razzak was the first to make a move. He flapped his black, leathery wings, and flew straight at Raiga, halberd poised to swing. As he neared Raiga, he flew upwards, then back down, to strike Raiga directly from above. With all the force he could muster, Razzak swung his halberd at Raiga. Unfortunately, this attack was halted with ease by Raiga. He looked up at Razzak, smiling. Raiga then crouched down, leapt upwards, and, using his momentum, slashed at the sky, slamming Razzak with his zweihander. Razzak held up his halberd to block, but despite that, he was still sent flying away by the sheer force of the attack. "Aargh!" Razzak smashed into a tree. It would've been comical if the situation wasn't so serious. Raiga, not sparing any mercy, raised his sword to the sky, and brought it down, pointing it at Razzak. "Thunder Blade!" He cried. A blast of lightning, in the form of a large sword, fell from the sky, and down upon the tree Razzak lay dazed under. There was an explosion of lightning, and Razzak was sent flying once more - this time, right into a pond. Razzak landed with a large splash. After a moment, Razzak's unconscious form floated up to the surface, face-up. The ones remaining in the fight were now Yuan, Genis, Kratos, and Presea. Raiga was staring down all of them, his gaze constantly shifting between the four of them. Without warning, Yuan made a dash for Raiga, and began slashing his butterfly sword at a speed that rivaled Raiga's. Yuan didn't give Raiga a chance to retaliate. As his blade spun, he slashed non-stop, giving no room for Raiga to slash without dropping his guard. Kratos merely stared on at Raiga, looking to see if he had a weak spot. Raiga was twirling and spinning his blades around in a way so that nothing could get a hit on him without getting caught by one of his blades and slashed. And if he casted a spell, he'd hit Yuan, too. Kratos flapped his wings once, and took to the air. He looked from Yuan and Raiga, to Genis and Presea, then back. Quite suddenly, an idea formed in his mind. As if the two of them could read his mind, Genis and Presea looked up at Kratos, and nodded, getting an idea of what to do. Genis began to chant a spell, while Presea looked poised to dash at Raiga. Kratos, satisfied that they were ready, landed a ways off behind Raiga. Raiga, getting tired of this, swung his zweihander at Yuan's blade with stunning, inhuman speed, stopping one of Yuan's blows and stopping his deadly dance all together. Raiga delivered a fist to Yuan's stomach, causing him to stagger. Then, he smacked Yuan away using the flat side of his blade. Suddenly sensing something, Raiga spun around, his gaze meeting Kratos. Kratos held his Last Fencer loosely at his side, while he calmly stared down Raiga. Raiga raised an eyebrow, and taunted, "Ooh, trying to look bad-ass, are we?" Kratos, ignoring this, continued staring calmly at Raiga. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Yuan pulling himself up, using his butterfly sword to steady himself. When Yuan was ready, Kratos nodded, catching Yuan's attention. Yuan, noticing Kratos, nodded in assent, and he began to twirl his butterfly sword. Without warning, Kratos unfurled his wings, and made a dash at Raiga, while Raiga did the same. They began to close in on each other, and when the distance was small enough, Kratos thrust his blade forward, and shouted, "Lightning Blade!" Kratos' blade met with Raiga's. At the end of Kratos' sword, there was a large electrical detonation, which blew Raiga back slightly. Kratos followed it up quickly. He slashed his sword upwards, leaping into the air as he did. He did a somersault, then cried, "Hell Pyre!" He then swung his blade, and fired a ball of flames at Raiga. There was a small explosion, but Raiga managed to dodge. Yuan, seeing his chance, leaped into the air, and began to descend upon Raiga. Raiga spun to saw Yuan flying at him, but he didn't have a chance to dodge. He merely held up his swords to block as Yuan crashed his weapon into the ground, yelling, "Thunder Explosion!" There was an incredible explosion of electricity. This sent Raiga flying. Then, Genis and Presea saw their opportunity. Genis, who was holding an Indignation spell the entire time, nodded at Presea, who nodded back. Presea then dashed towards the falling Raiga, and attacked, yelling, "Rising Punishment!" Raiga found himself flying at Presea as she swung her axe around and around. As he closed in on Presea, Raiga quickly protected himself by doing a flip in midair to recover, and holding up his blades to block. As Raiga's guard and Presea's axe made contact, there was an outburst of sparks. Raiga gritted his teeth together, still holding against Presea's attack. Genis decided this was the time. As the wind howled behind him, he cried, "Indignation!" Instead of a massive lightning bolt striking Raiga, however, lightning began to crackle around Presea's small form. She poised her axe to swing, while Genis shouted, "Go!" Presea swung her axe, and began to spin around, yelling, "Lightning Punishment!" Suddenly, an electrical tornado formed around Presea, revolving around her in sync with her spinning. Raiga, caught off guard by this attack, winced and grit his teeth as he was slammed by Presea's axe multiple times, while being shocked and rattled by lightning. Presea gave another mighty swing, and sent Raiga flying off, right back at Yuan and Kratos. Kratos, who was anticipating this, ran forwards, and yelled, "Victory Light Spear!" Kratos leaped into the air, spinning around, blade outstretched, as he did so. Kratos rose up to meet Raiga, and at the peak of his attack, Kratos swung his blade at Raiga, using all the force he could muster. This attack bounced Raiga towards the ground, and Yuan dashed in to attack. Raiga, seeing this, almost immediately recovered as soon as he hit the ground by deliberately slamming himself into the ground to enable himself to bounce onto his feet, and dashing away by pushing off from the ground. Yuan's attack missed, slamming at the ground where Raiga once was instead of Raiga himself. Both Yuan and Kratos looked up at Raiga. Genis and Presea ran forwards, so they could get closer to Raiga. What they saw, however, shocked them. Raiga had quickly unfurled his feathery white wings. As he stood there, hovering in midair, his swords dissipated, and he clapped his hands together. Raiga began to mumble something barely audible, but Kratos quickly gathered a fact from all this - Raiga was chanting a spell. Kratos quickly assumed a defensive stance, as did Yuan. He bared his teeth, and narrowed his eyes. "Get ready!" he shouted, loudly enough so that everyone could here. Raiga smirked with amusement, and spoke, "Heh, as if telling everyone in advance would help. Let's see you try to stop this!" Raiga raised his palm to the heavens. The sky darkened, but a blinding white light revealed itself from above. Raiga's eyes glowed an unearthly blue. "Light! Bring forth destruction and annihilation upon these foolish mortals! Behold...." At this point, everyone noticed the spell. They looked up at the sky, then at Raiga, in anticipation, as he gave a mighty cry, "Celestial Judgment!" *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* I can almost guarantee there is a typo here... Tech List? Eradication (Spell) (Like Sacrifice, only even stronger, and Raiga sacrifices nothing) Retribution Annihilation (Spell) (Several Explosion spells attack the field, along with one final Explosion that is so huge and does so much damage that it is extremely hard to dodge unless you were a fairly large distance away in the first place) Judgment Arrow (Imagine Volt's Strike attack, now imagine instead of lightning, Raiga sends out beams of Judgment in rapid succession. 5 beams of Judgment, to be exact, all in one direction - In front of him) Cyclone Thrust (Raiga throws himself forward, thrusting his blade. At the same time, his blade is surrounded by circulating spirals of wind, a mini-vertical Cyclone, in a way. He propels himself forward until the final hit. At the end (when Raiga stops moving), three large rings if wind burst outwards, throwing the target away (It'll remind you of Hurricane Thrust, only there's the Cyclone part, and at the end, there are three large rings instead of one moderately sized one). (Note: Anything that is caught in the Cyclone will be thrown in front of Raiga, and the Cyclone actually slices and cuts the target - It's not just for flashyness) Fiery Outburst (Raiga does a front flip and slams his blade into the ground, creating an explosion (It's not really an explosion, it's like Kuchinawa's Fiery Slam attack, only several times larger, more spectacular, and a giant ring of fire accompanies the explosion, bursting outward upon impact) Glacier Lance (Raiga spins around, sword outstretched, then impales his blade into the ground. At that precise moment, spears of ice suddenly shoot out of the ground, piercing and immobilizing the target. Then, he leaps into the air, spinning around swinging his sword multiple times as he ascends, shattering the ice and dealing heavy damage to everything caught in the ice) Detrimental Devastation (Raiga raises his sword above his head, and slams the ground with stunning force. Suddenly, a massive shockwave bursts to life and begins ripping through the ground, tearing apart everything within its radius, which ranges from 10 to a whopping 40 feet, depending on the amount of force and mana put into the blow) Celestial Judgement (Spell) (Extremely chaotic. Raiga sends out 8 Judgment Arrow attacks with 10 beams instead of 5 to increase distance, in 8 different directions. After this sequence, beams of Judgment begin striking around him in spirals, reaching all within a good distance, and as this is happening, Raiga shoots out beams of light from his outstretched palms while spinning. After this sequence, dozens of spears made of light strike all around him all at once in a very large radius, creating tremendous shockwaves upon impact. After a moment, each spear explodes. All in all, the attack is staggeringly powerful. Damnation (Spell) (Fluctuating and unstable spheres of Dark energy rain from the sky, creating corrosive and highly damaging bursts of energy upon contact with anything) Cyclone Spear (Very similar to Garr's Decisive Slice. Only about twice as fast, and Raiga actually spins, while twirling his blade in his hands, which is raised above him. He also attacks the target on the way down, like in Light Spear) Primal Fury (An even higher-flying version of Cyclone Spear, but at the peak at the spear, Raiga does a spin attack, seen in Victory Light Spear. Only instead, 8 separate Beast attacks strike out in 8 different directions, all around Raiga, and all at once. It doesn't stop there. Raiga suddenly teleports to the ground and slams his blade into it, causing an explosion) Hurricane Spear (Cyclone Spear, then Raiga falls a bit, and begins another, even longer, and even more damaging version of Cyclone Spear, creating a small tornado. At the peak of the attack, he uses a sword spin attack seen in Victory Light Spear, only even larger and stronger) Cataclysmic Devastation (Spell) (In short, not only a massive earthquake ensues, but massive and sharp spears of rock begin shooting out of the ground in a very large radius. Hell, it can affect all of Symphonia if enough power is put into the spell) Demonic Inferno (A massive-sized, fiery Demon Fang. It literally flies along the ground, tearing apart everything in its trajectory with fiery energy) Demonic Absolution (The direct polar opposite of DI. Exactly the same, but it freezes everything in its path and leaves icicles in its wake) Isis Blade (Raiga swings is blade once, and a circle made of pure Mana Appears in front of him, hanging in the air vertically (Imagine Leonayzium, only a differently designed circle and colored white). Raiga swings his blade once more, and shatters the circle. The target is then blasted with ferocious and spectacular blast of energy, one that rips through the ground, tearing apart everything in its path (It's like an enormous Wind Scar of the light element. The same applies to the 2 attacks above, only fire and ice) Unholy Requiem (Isis Blade, only differently colored, and dark element) Grave Blade Double Demon Fang Inner Beast (Raging Beast on steroids. Lots of em) Beast Fury (A very wide Light Spear, where targets caught in attack are sucked into the "tornado," and are tossed about viciously. At the peak of the Spear, though, an image of a lion's head appears (A large one, too), and slams the targets down forcefully in a diagonal direction (Imagine Raiga doing Hell Pyre at the peak of the Spear, with a Lion’s head instead of a Ball of Fire hitting the target). Targets take additional damage if they do not recover from hit) Permablade (The ground in front of Raiga suddenly freezes over, covered in ice. Then Raiga swings his blade in a sweeping vertical upward motion, kicking up chunks of ice at the target, and throwing them up in the air for a moment. Then, he thrusts his blade forward, rocks of ice striking the target whilst he pierces them with his blade) Demonic Wrath (A much, much larger form of Fierce Demon Fang/Grave Blade. Looks more like a Ground Dasher than anything else) Demon Bite (2 Demon Fangs at once, followed by 4 Demon Fangs at once, followed by a large Demon Fang) Blade Cyclone (All the blades Raiga has in his possession materialize around him in an instant, and start spinning around him at a vicious speed, blades slicing all in the vicinity) Grave, Stalagmite, Eruption, Flame Lance, Aqua Laser, Spread, Air Blade, Air Thrust, Ice Tornado, Freeze Lancer, Photon, Holy Lance, Ray, Dark Sphere, Rising Fire (Spell) (Pillars of flames rocket out of the ground randomly. Where it will hit is determined when the ground briefly flares up from beneath) Bloody Lance Extinction (Spell) (A circle, on far more enormous than that used in Indignation, appears beneath the target. Quite suddenly, a spectacular, ferocious, and earth shattering stream of light energy erupts upwards, dealing insane damage to the target. For effect, accompany the attack with many streaks of light) Gates of Hell (Spell) (A red, fiery circle appears beneath the target, with four other diamond-shaped symbols surrounding it. Fiery red particles of energy begin dancing amongst the circle and everything around it, and the temperature begins to escalate. Then, the symbols dissipate, and the ground where they once were begins to crack and open up, creating fissures. Then, eruptions of fire and bursts of super-heated rocks pummel anything unlucky enough to be near the attack. The cracks, fissures, and chasms begin to travel along the ground, expanding the distance they take effect, resulting in devastating damage to the landform. The only place that is really unaffected is the circle. Soon enough, massive eruptions of fire take place from the fissures and "chasms." Within the circle, a fiery cyclone takes form, and begins to suck in anything light enough. Soon, the Cyclone dissipates, and everything it sucked up begins to fall back to earth. And quite suddenly, a massive, and incredibly spectacular explosion completely blows everything away and into the sky. Note that the radius of the fissures and cracks largely depend on the amount of power put into the spell) Punishment Divine (Spell) (Raiga raises his palm, and beams of Judgment fire out directly at the target, along with a final, incredibly powerful blast of light energy) Devil's Sphere (Spell) (Dark Sphere, only twice the size, and three times the power) Thunder Clap/Static Bind (Spell) (Indignation, only even stronger. The target is struck by a bolt of lightning, trapped inside a huge magic circle, and hit with another, astounding, destructive, colossal, and spectacular lightning strike) Absolute, Explosion, Prism Sword, Atlas, Thunder Arrow, Earth Bite, Ground Dasher, Cyclone, Indignation, Indignation Judgment, Permafrost/Ice Age (Special) (?) Meteor Storm Catastrophe (Summon Move) (Will be explained later) Dejection (Spell) (A Lance made of dark energy strikes down from the sky and impales itself into the ground, creating a shockwave. Anything hit by the shockwave begins to steadily lose energy and life force, until the target dies, or is healed by powerful White Magic) Acid Rain Necro Lance (Spell) (A large lance, one pulsating with dark energy, strikes the ground, similar to Dejection. It creates a burst of energy, stunning those hit by it. Without warning, everything within a certain radius is rapidly shocked by a dark energy-lightning combination that is strong enough to tear apart the ground) Desolate Mist (?) =\ THERE ARE SO MANY TYPOS THAT I DIED LOLZORZ :D *Explodes* More Spells (Strongest of a certain element): Strongest: Water Tech: Maelstrom Fire Tech: Gates of Hell Earth Tech: Hell's Opening Wind Tech: Hurricane Water/Wind Tech: Typhoon Lightning Tech: Indignation Judgment Ice Tech: Tundra Fall Light Tech: Wrath Divine Dark Tech: Rites of Damnation Pre-storyline Ideas *WARNING: SO MANY TYPOS THAT YOUR HEAD WILL ASPLODE* *Around the Time of the Ancient War* *Events on Uron-Thaea* -Razzak, a fairly good bounty hunter, finds his brother one night, rambling madly. His brother runs off into the night, and Razzak flies in pursuit, calling out his brother's name. The chase leads to the Ltektlagre Mausoleum, which houses the weapon known as the Eye. Razzak, remembering the 2 purposes and abilities of the Eye, and getting a realization of what his brother is up to, heads to the Sacred Vault, which houses the Leader of the Kithian Nation's, Lord Arazar's, blade, which is a symbol and proof of his political position. This blade, the Srysaylga, holds divine power of near-infinite measure, but this power can only be fully unlocked if reunited with the Soulforged, whose power must be unlocked in the same way. When Razzak reaches the Vault, he finds it open, and he finds the Srysaylga gone, and all that is left is a white feather. -Razzak, realizing that there will be a tremendous uproar if Arazar finds out, decides to seek out his brother, as he feels obligated, due to an incident in the past. Luckily for him, Arazar is rather foolish, and has turned a blind-eye to everything, focusing on the current war only. Razzak, hacks into the Federation's Database, and begins a search for his Brother. But as he does that, there's a massive earthquake - Signifying that a Mana Bridge has been activated. He realizes that his brother may have been the one who used the bridge. He tracks down the Mana signatures in the remaining particles of the bridge, and learns that it is indeed his brother. He traces the Mana Bridge's Mana signature all the way to Symphonia - A planet that is indeed full of life. Razzak, being the considerate person he is, knows that if he tells Arazar, Arazar will be furious, and not only kill Razzak's brother to get his sword back, but destroy the entire planet. But this meant that Razzak would have to do this on his own. Razzak knows that this is not exactly wise choice of action, but he has no choice. He devises a plan to cover for him, and sends a request to the Federation for a pending vacation. In some miracle, his request is granted, and Razzak makes some preparations. His Mana-Tech freak, and friend, Charnate, prepares a Mana Bridge for him. Razzak gathers some weapons, and if his Mana signature is to disappear as fast as possible, he will have to bring limited weapons - His halberd, longsword, mythril chains, mythril daggers, and 5 inactive Mana Grenades, which have no Mana in them. Razzak brings some clothing, a few of his personal belongings, and tells his fiance where's he's headed, then goes off. *Events on Symphonia* -Razzak's brother lands with a bang, and he is found half-dead by Mithos and his companions. They nurse him back to health. -Another tremendous bang several days later, and Razzak lands. He begins the hunt for his brother. And that is when he learns this was the planet the Salevayjianes once settled on millions of years ago - It was said that Salevayjianes settled on a planet, but left due to low Mana levels, and left behind a Goddess and many stragglers. But the actual planet was never specified. |

The only metal-head on the board?
|
-Razzak's brother, who had little memory of what happened before he landed (Amnesia due to impact), began to travel with Mithos, and helped him in stopping the Ancient War. However, near the end of the journey, something about the Srysaylga awakened his memories, and he is driven insane once more. Then, he basically goes crazy, and says something along the lines "I'll show them all... They will all PAY!" Then he goes berserk. He starts trying to beat the crap out of the four Seraphim, and he kills Martel in the process. He hunches over and mumbles "Mine... I will show them all... Power of infinite measure! None shall stand in my way!" Raiga refers to the power of the Srysaylga and Soulforged (Plays a part later in plot) combined, and how it will help him achieve the power the inflict revenge upon the Salevayjianes. Yuan and Kratos figure that Raiga just wants control over the Mana (Leading to Yuan's statement), and attack him. Raiga escapes, leaving an enormous explosion in his wake (Tech: Annihilation). Raiga goes around the world, going all crazy, being all erratic and stuff, etc. Then begins Razzak's 4000 year hunt for his brother. *2000 years after, during Cruxis' reign* -Razzak's brother comes across the Temple of the Damned after some crazy incident involving a pack of lobos in Flanoir. He hears voices begin chanting in his head, coaxing him into coming before the altar/seal. Here, a Summon Spirit, using his strange powers, begins to toy with Razzak's brother's now-weak and consumed mind. He convinces Razzak's brother to form a pact with him, and he begins his vengeful scheme - He begins to manipulate Razzak's brother, and starts to slowly, but steadily, takeover his mind and body. NOTE: Salevayjianes live for 100 000 years, not 10 000. Ludicrous, I know. Post-game -Raiga forges an alliance with Ra, the leader of the Dragons of Kylyldor. Raiga basically gets an army of Dragons, Gold Dragons, Wyverns, Drakes, Dragon Knights, and some water serpents. Raiga, using his and the Summon Spirit of Catastrophe's/Death's magic, creates three dragons - Ristar, of light, thunder, and ice, Kensta, of darkness, fire, and earth, and Galraega, of darkness, fire, wind, earth, and lightning. -Raiga forges an alliance with the Fallen and Niflheim, as they are both sealed in the Cursed Book. Raiga gains an army of Fallen/Undead Warriors, Sorcerers, knights, etc, Arch Demons, Samaels, Phantasms, Doom Guards, Phantom Knights, Golden Skeletons, Pharaoh Knights, Manticores, and various zombie-like freaks/monsters. -Raiga starts wandering around the world again, like he has been doing for the past 4000 years, looking for a place that reeks of death, a place where hatred is strong, etc. -While everyone is separated, Sheena, Colette, Lloyd, Genis, and Raine meet each other somewheres around Meltokio. In some freak coincidence, they tell each other that they were planning to go to the Hot Springs. They go to The Hot Springs. -Razzak seeks out Raiga, like he has been doing for the past 2000 years. Razzak finds Raiga, and they duke it out, but Raiga defeats Razzak. Razzak tries to flee by flying away, but Raiga gives him a grave wound. Razzak plummets to the hot springs, where Lloyd and everyone are. -Razzak falls on top of the waterfall section of the hot spring (You know, that little hill-cliff section... there's a word for it, I just forgot. >_< Dammit). The girls, who notice his abrupt entrance whilst bathing (Don't shoot me! It's the only thing that came to mind! >_<). They bring him into the House of Guidance there, patch him up, etc. -Razzak explains that he was the result of an experiment from Sybak, and is hunting down someone planning to annihilate Symphonia (Fake explanation). He tells them his"plight," and they agree to help him. He says to them to go to the Temple of the Damned to find out some of the whereabouts of this shady character. Razzak tells them that the Temple of the Damned is located beneath and ice shelf in the Flanoir Region. As they leave to spread this news to Regal and Presea, Razzak muses to himself. He hopes that they find out everything about the Summon Spirit of Death/Chaos/whatever so that they can help make things easier for him. But he hopes that they never find out the truth about himself and Raiga, otherwise, he'll face some uber punishment from the Federation, unless he has a good excuse. -Lloyd and the others, with the help of the Renegades, find their way into the Temple of the Damned, and begin looking around, encountering some ferocious monsters along the way. Once at the altar deep within the Temple, Sheena senses the Mana of a Summon Spirit nearby. Meanwhile, Raine (*cough*) and the others are reading some of the scriptures on the walls, which tell of the Ancient War, how the elves descended upon the land, the awakening of the Goddess Martel, and the three Legendary Deity (Yes, Deity, not Summon) Spirits: Origin, Maxwell, and Vessaydjius. They learn of how Vessaydjius was sealed away when he tried to destroy the Goddess, they learned how the Goddess and the remaining 2 Deity Spirits created the Summon Spirits, how the half-elves were treated when they first discovered, and how the War actually started: Tethe'alla was a Half-elven nation, with rational humans who accepted the half-elves, while Sylvarant was a nation of humans who opposed half-elves. The humans of Sylvarant were merely power hungry fools who wanted to eliminate the half-elves. The humans of Tethe'alla wanted to defend the half-elves, and fortunately for them, they outnumbered the humans of Sylvarant, but not by much. Sylvarant wanted control, so war began. At first, Tethe'alla had an advantage, but over the next few decades/centuries (The War took place for over a thousand years, right?...), the humans of Sylvarant began to overpower Tethe'alla, and even convert some of them to their side. This is where Mithos and the others come in. In the end, Mithos and his companions succeed, but Martel was killed by Raiga. Mithos, driven over the edge, began to go on a bloody rampage, and ended up killing an entire city of humans, a city that no longer exists today. They then begin a reading a scripture that was engraved wall just 2000 years ago. It was roughly carved, unlike the other readings. It said: The Bringer of Catastrophe will walk this earth once more, with the aid of one somewhere far beyond, and with this aid, the Fallen will rise, and the Rulers of the Skies will dominate the skies once more... Before they can finish reading, they hear Sheena scream. They rush to her aid, and they come face to face with a monster that is seemingly made of nothing but shadows manifested into a physical form. They defeat it, but it simply reforms, and attacks them again. They flee the Temple of the Damned. -Everyone comes to a conclusion that this Bringer of Catastrophe is back, and is going to destroy Symphonia. But first, they decide that they must search for clues. So they decide to seek out this Bringer for Razzak while he heals back at Zelos' mansion. However, Raine notes that this may be another trick - She reminds everyone of the Abyssion incident. They all decide to proceed with extreme caution. Before they all set out, Genis and Regal suggest they take a break at Altamira for a while. Random stuff happens, then they all set out - Lloyd (Who is alone) setting out on his Exsphere journey, Colette staying in Iselia, spreading the truth of the entire Cruxis religion, Sheena managing Mizuho, who've moved to the Linkite Tree valley, Raine and Genis on their campaign to abolish half-elf oppression, Regal and Presea managing things with Lezareno, etc. Razzak rests up at Zelos' mansion - His wounds will apparently take a month to heal, due to the magic behind his injury. Something to note: While everyone is on their separate journey (IE: Genis and Raine and their Half-Elf campaign (Hey, it rhymes. <__<), Lloyd and his exsphere journey, Sheena looking for a new home for the Mizuho people, etc), they will look for clues about this Bringer of Catastrophe thing. </millionsoftypos> |

The only metal-head on the board?

Ha.... When was the last time I actually posted here? Anyway, this thing has taken several updates. It's all archived here: http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs9/genmessa...&topic=24469487 Just a note. The first few dozen posts are mostly old stuff, but around the 40 mark or somewhere around there, the updates are there. The thing is just about ready to go! I'd like to thank Lego for agreeing to help me in this thing. GM too, I guess, for (unknowingly) pushing me to continue this huge thing. And, well, this girl named Frey that encouraged me to continue this thing.... she practically vanished from SHS after I put this thing on hiatus, but I'd like to thank her for the support she provided. And max123, as well. And yes, Light Shockwave Bazooka. And I need to archive a convo: greenmagicite: BFR! BFRwasstillhere: yes? greenmagicite: You're on BFRwasstillhere: really? greenmagicite: Yeah BFRwasstillhere: on another note, i am a genius greenmagicite: So am I, what of it?] greenmagicite: >_> BFRwasstillhere: in my fic, nebilim is revealed to actually be a leader and ruler of helheim, once seized by the power of the devil's arms. helheim is a sister realm of niflheim, and is residence to not only demons, but human and elven spirits who died in disease, darkness, filled with contempt, revenge, etc. they are called the fallen. and guess what "nebilim" means? greenmagicite: Darkness? BFRwasstillhere: "fallen one" BFRwasstillhere: <.< BFRwasstillhere: *shot* greenmagicite: oh snap BFRwasstillhere: :O BFRwasstillhere: o noes greenmagicite: KEFKA'S MOVE AM I RITE BFRwasstillhere: LOL ICIC WUT U DID THUR greenmagicite: Heh BFRwasstillhere: and helheim gets unleashed, etc etc.... until MAJOR PLOT TWIST KICKS IN O SNAP!!! greenmagicite: Angels sing out in immaculate chorus as down from the heavens descends Chuck Norris? greenmagicite: >.> BFRwasstillhere: dragons from the kharlan war strike out against the Fallen Army of Helheim and MASS WAR ENSUES BLOODGOREFISTSDECAPITATION, and Lloyd and co. conduct an investigation on why this all happened. BFRwasstillhere: okay, not major, but stil... greenmagicite: I see... BFRwasstillhere: ya wai? greenmagicite: So, no dwarves? BFRwasstillhere: dwarves stay underground. greenmagicite: You have not mentioned Dwarves greenmagicite: I FIND YOUR LACK OF DWARVES DISTURBING greenmagicite: >.> BFRwasstillhere: lloyd and co. consult them about stuff. especially about the chaos that is now occuring greenmagicite: Chaos? God of Destruction Chaos? greenmagicite: Squee! greenmagicite: ^_^ BFRwasstillhere: actually, there is BFRwasstillhere: vessaydjius greenmagicite: w00t BFRwasstillhere: controlling "raiga," he instigates the war through him greenmagicite: CHAOS CONTROL AM I RITE? greenmagicite: O_o BFRwasstillhere: vessaydjius possesses raiga, a being of another world, and possesser of a very powerful sword and gem, and finds methods of getting back to raiga's homeplanet, where even greater power lies. vessaydjius the inflicts retribution upon martel, the goddess of creation BFRwasstillhere: <_< BFRwasstillhere: it ties in with another world greenmagicite: But... Martel isn't a goddess... greenmagicite: >.> BFRwasstillhere: the fic, that is. BFRwasstillhere: martel was the name given to the goddess by the salevayjianes. and dont even ask, or ill be forced to do soooooo much typing greenmagicite: *considers asking* greenmagicite: >_> BFRwasstillhere: and razzak, the storyteller of latheon, and raiga are salevayjianes. anyway, skipping ahead, vessy finds a method to get back to raiga's homeplanet, but he needs the otherworldly gate to be restored to power (via 2 worlds reuniting), and a source of extreme power (jewel of chaos that raiga possesses). oddly enough, this happens 4000 years ago. greenmagicite: Is Noishe in it greenmagicite: ? greenmagicite: >_> BFRwasstillhere: must i explain more? BFRwasstillhere: and yes greenmagicite: Then it's all good! ^_^ BFRwasstillhere: ill take that as a yes greenmagicite: What? greenmagicite: _._ BFRwasstillhere: before vessy's possessing of raiga, raiga was literally tossed onto the world where the kharlan war was occurring. skipping details, raiga helps mithos stop the war. however, his memory from before he was tossed onto the world resurfaces, and he is driven insane. he pwns martel, yuan, and kratos, and mithos, and runs off. at this point, he runs into the temple of the damned, and is possessed by vessaydjius. BFRwasstillhere: <_< greenmagicite: O_O greenmagicite: Damned Temple? greenmagicite: I say we sacrifice Zelos greenmagicite: >.> greenmagicite: http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/05/07/titanic.s...r.ap/index.html BFRwasstillhere: fic takes an AU kratos path, where zelos somehow survives in an eerie incident, but is tossed into a coma. later, raiga comes to his mansion, where zelos rests, and while lloyd and co go adventuring, trying to figure out how helheim was unleashed or something, raiga takes advantage of zelos's emotional instability and drives him insane. at which point zelos' soul is nullified, but still exists. at which point, zelos becomes a zelos version of zombie colette, only with some emotion, and he is a puppet of raiga BFRwasstillhere: yay for cheesiness BFRwasstillhere: and zelos finally perishes at the end by either emo suicide or obliteration greenmagicite: Heh. You know how to make it better? Sacrifice him@! greenmagicite: >_> greenmagicite: <_< BFRwasstillhere: emo suicide BFRwasstillhere: i shall continue with my boring explanation of the heavenseeker plot greenmagicite: Heh greenmagicite: DEATH BY EMO HOOKERS! greenmagicite: DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT BFRwasstillhere: i plan to. continuing BFRwasstillhere: vessaydjius waits for 4000 years, and in the mean, he makes raiga traverse into whatever world that declines (either sylvarant or tethe'alla). while in the declining world, since the jewel of chaos literally feeds off negative energy, such as emotions and whatnot, raiga skips around driving people to insanity or disease. especially people who are in suffering. and yes, raiga can live for 4000 years naturally, and way, way more. BFRwasstillhere: ven without vessy greenmagicite: Heh BFRwasstillhere: *even BFRwasstillhere: oh, and from what was said earlier, you should know that raiga was the one that betrayed mithos (betrayer, you ask? read the synopsis entry around the time where lloyd is seperated from everyone. i believe it says that mithos was betrayed - cant really remember which entry exactly, or what it said exactly, but it said that mithos was betrayed. BFRwasstillhere: lolol greenmagicite: heh greenmagicite: pwnage BFRwasstillhere: so, soon, 4000 years later, when the worlds are reunited, the otherworldly gate is restored to its true function: a gateway to another, far-off planet (It was built by the "salevayjianes" - you'll see). the pieces are set for vessaydjius, but the jewel still isn't powerful enough. so, he instigates the war between helheim and kylyldor (the dragon nation i mentioned, secluded from the world since the kharlan war). chaos abound, and once that's done, he bribes nebilim into joining him (raiga/vessy), promising him power and chaos, and takes the entire fallen army with him to raiga's homeplanet via otherworldly gate greenmagicite: Hold on greenmagicite: bak greenmagicite signed off at 6:31:26 PM. greenmagicite signed on at 8:17:46 PM. BFRwasstillhere: rofl i not dun yet rfolol *shot* greenmagicite: say what ? BFRwasstillhere: earlier BFRwasstillhere: you shall be subject to the boring explanation once more BFRwasstillhere: once i get this riff right.... greenmagicite: Sorry, I had to log off, emrglyeryc greenmagicite: *emergency BFRwasstillhere: oh BFRwasstillhere: what was it? greenmagicite: sleep deprivatino greenmagicite: I can baarely type BFRwasstillhere: the emergency was sleep deprivation? or you are deprived of sleep right now? greenmagicite: I can barely staty awayke BFRwasstillhere: right now? greenmagicite: YES greenmagicite: 1 BFRwasstillhere: then you should go get some rest, then greenmagicite: N! greenmagicite: GRAUS ATMAMTPU<U $ DEspereate Howucives! BFRwasstillhere: <_< BFRwasstillhere: okay, are you drunk, sleepy, or possessed? greenmagicite: latters BFRwasstillhere: >.> greenmagicite: Welly out try hanging tourd without getting pssed now and then! BFRwasstillhere: tourd? greenmagicite: around! BFRwasstillhere: O_o okay okay... greenmagicite: NO! BFRwasstillhere: eh?/ greenmagicite: That's right. BFRwasstillhere: alright.... so.. you're deprived of sleep and pissed about it? BFRwasstillhere: and you refuse to go get rest because you want to watch desperate house-wives? BFRwasstillhere: <_< greenmagicite: AND Gray's Anatamoy greenmagicite: AND I WILL NEVER LET GO OF CONSCIOUNESS UNTIL I DECIDE TOO BFRwasstillhere: we'll see. BFRwasstillhere: sooooo..... BFRwasstillhere: what is this emergency you speak of? BFRwasstillhere: sleep? greenmagicite: Yes greenmagicite: GOD HATES ME BFRwasstillhere: i dont get it greenmagicite: He does... he won't let me sleep...
