Trickster* Also. 1. Not too long for me. Though keep in mind it is about 500 MB. And I've got some high-speed internet I share with my dad. 2. You get enough money, definitely. I have had no need to go beg for money nor has the same happened to me. (Also, in Maple Story, you can play unfunded. You'll just have to live without some equipment.) 3. Depends on who you are. There's a story, so that's a factor that will keep you wanting to play, just so you can move on to the next chapter of the story and get ever closer to completing it. If there is an end to it. 4. No, it's definitely different. Tons of things are vastly improved from Maple Story. To prevent KSing, you get Exp per hit, not per kill. Also, drops are given to whoever attacked the monster first. It's also different gameplaywise, where magic users have cast times, and all you do to attack is click on the enemy (Kinda like in WoW or Flyff). Also, death doesn't seem to penalize you much. >_> |

That's what I mean, you can play unfunded being able to buy all equips you need.
Ok, is that all that differs? Plus, is it like Flyff where you can't mass-spam your skills? |

2. You can play unfunded. Hell, it's easy enough to be unfunded even in MS unless you're a potion abuser. 4. Depends on the class. Mages, for example, are supposed to be able to spam their skills. Power and Charm characters don't have nearly as much MP, thus, cannot spam skills as much. Plus, there are cooldown times. |

You can kinda mass spam skills. You know, the ones with casting times. The cooldown times tend to not be as long. |

No, no, I'm not planning on doing what you used the past tense of. What you were looking for was smote, not smitten. If you're smitten with/by me, I'm quitting TGB and I'm NOT coming back. I do NOT want a guy smitten with/by me. |

1. The n was an accident. 2. If smite isn't right either, then The Metal is messed up. 3. You have gone off-topic of being off-topic. 4. 22% |

1. Because smite is the present tense. You wanted the past tense if you wanted to be correct. 2. It's smote for past tense, which is what you wanted. 3. And you have gone off topic... cubed. >_> 4. lolwot? |

Actually you did... But yeah, what is good about Runescape? It looks like you just run around taking care of a character without levels... and how do you level? You fish, you eat, you do other things I don't wanna list, that is how I view the game. |

To level up, you have not one specific level, but a separate level for every single thing you can do in the game. There's a level for firemaking, combat, and even... Dare I say it.... Praying. ...Yes, a fishing level, treecutting level, and so many levels it's mindblowing. But, see, most of those levels are just completely pointless. Who's going to go around bragging "Hey, I'm a level 99 fisher in Runescape" or "Hey, I finally got my praying up to 51"? >_> |

The thing I like is that there's so much that you can do. Train random skills, do quests, kill stuff... |

You can do that in lots of games. ToS: If you're obsessive and want to get all your skill usages to 999. The whole game is a quest, and involves killing things. Guess that's why you like it. >_> WoW: You can get 2 secondary skills, preferably ones that compliment each other, and raise them up to level 250. Naturally, these benefit your gameplay and economy. You also get to kill stuff, and do so many quests it's ridiculous. I mean, more quests than Runescape's quests squared. >_> Eh, I'd list more later. >_> |

Empress Bulblax, you have been kicked.

Getting each tech to 999 =/= the variety of skills Runescape possesses, as each tech is basically the same, it just deals different damage in a different way. I can make my weapon and armor and then shoot you in Runescape. WoW...just two skills? Meh. |

At a time. Per character. And you can have 50 characters per account. Thus, you can have up to 100 skills at once, and if you decide you don't like Blacksmithing, just discard the skill and take up Herbalism. |

I don't remember. 25? 30? Somewhere in there. But those are just Secondary Skills, used to craft stuff (Alchemy for potions, Herbalism for collecting Alchemy ingredients... Etc). There are separate skills for all weapon types (Even Unarmed. They go up to 250 too, I think) and a skill level for Defense. That means if you're an Archer but you want to learn how to use a Gun instead, you can go to a proper weapon trainer, learn how (If possible) and bam. New skill level ready to raise. You can have an infinite amount of weapon skills, provided your class can wield or learn to wield (Learn from Weapon Master) a said weapon. For instance, a Warrior won't be able to learn how to use a Wand, but can take up Maces or Daggers if they're so inclined. |

Only 2 SECONDARY skills. You know, the boring noncombat skills that do nothing but to bolster the economy. So really, you aren't missing out on much. All the fun combat skills you can have as many of as you want. Well, at least as many as your class can use. Let's say you're a Troll Warrior. You can use 1 and 2 hand axes. But what if you find this badass staff? Sell it to some sucker on the road? Psh, never. Just go to your nearby Weapon Master, and buy the Staff skill. Then you can use your fancy new toy. >_> Notice how swords weren't in the example. I've never found a badass sword in my travels. >_> |
