Perhaps a dumb question, and I searched the forum, but how is this possible? For instance, I have a DVD for Saturn, but when Cena does it, it's a FU. Any help would be appreciated. |

'Chiz, I got a question. So like, the activator goes beforeevery set of DD8, I understand that. But could I use more than one player's activator? Example : D115AF50 0303 Player 1 Activator D115B2A8 0303 Player 2 Activator D106B514 3875 D106B516 0027 8106B520 00C9 |

That wouldn't work. Say you want to give Super Dragon the Psycho Driver IV, but let Daniels still do the Spicy Drop. By putting the Player 1 and Player 2 activators in front of it, you're telling the game that if player 1 is Dragon, then player 1 does the Psycho Driver, and if player 2 is Dragon, then player 1 does the Psycho Driver. So any time Dragon is in the ring, that move would be changed. Works if you want someone to steal his finisher, but doesn't work if you've got two guys in the ring, like Daniels and Dragon, where one has the move replaced, the other doesn't. Anyway, you have to do 4 player conversions on most everything, and it's just a lot easier to throw the Player 1 activator on the Player 1 conversions, etc. |

Sorry for the bump, but I'm @ work now and I'm bored. So let's say I want Rock to have Matt Morgan's Finisher. It replaces the Reverse Suplex (Front Grapple). So this move would only be hacked when The Rock uses it. And if I want to make this compatible for all the players, I would have to make 4 different codesets? Is this the correct code? D115AF50 0001 <- P1 As The Rock Activator D106B514 3494 D106B516 004D 8106B520 013A D115AF50 0001 D106B514 3494 D106B516 004D 8106B522 CC50 D115AF50 0001 D106B514 3494 D106B516 0061 8106B520 00B6 D115AF50 0001 D106B514 3494 D106B516 0061 8106B522 F87C 81326AAC 5000 81326AAE 007F ------- D115B2A8 0001 <- P2 As The Rock Activator D106B514 3494 D106B516 004D 8106B520 013A D115B2A8 0001 D106B514 3494 D106B516 004D 8106B522 CC50 D115B2A8 0001 D106B514 3494 D106B516 0061 8106B520 00B6 D115B2A8 0001 D106B514 3494 D106B516 0061 8106B522 F87C 81326AAC 5000 81326AAE 007F etc etc for P3 en P4 Just wanted to make sure I got this right. |

You also have to do the 4-player conversions on the moves. Otherwise, it ends up being that when Player 4 is the Rock, Player 1 is the one that does the move or something like that. |

It's a lot more simple than it looks. First, you have to know the 2-digit codes for each player. Player 1 is 45 Player 2 is 51 Player 3 is 5D Player 4 is 69 So for your move... D106B514 3494 D106B516 004D 8106B520 013A D106B514 3494 D106B516 004D 8106B522 CC50 D106B514 3494 D106B516 0061 8106B520 00B6 D106B514 3494 D106B516 0061 8106B522 F87C 81326AAC 5000 81326AAE 007F You only see the P2 code in there.... which means it's set up for P2 to take the move. This actually kinda threw me for a loop, but I think I've got a handle on it. To make it so that when P2 does the move it does it to P1, all the 51s get changed to 45s. The 52s get changed to 46s (You just add one to the codes I gave above.) So it looks like D106B454 3494 D106B456 004D 8106B460 013A D106B454 3494 D106B456 004D 8106B462 CC50 D106B454 3494 D106B456 0061 8106B460 00B6 D106B454 3494 D106B456 0061 8106B462 F87C 81326AAC 5000 81326AAE 007F Then you add the "When Player 2 is..." where you normally would... D115B2A8 0001 D106B454 3494 D106B456 004D 8106B460 013A D115B2A8 0001 D106B454 3494 D106B456 004D 8106B462 CC50 D115B2A8 0001 D106B454 3494 D106B456 0061 8106B460 00B6 D115B2A8 0001 D106B454 3494 D106B456 0061 8106B462 F87C D115B2A8 0001 81326AAC 5000 D115B2A8 0001 81326AAE 007F And that covers P2 giving the move to P1. Hope that helps. If not, reply or PM me or something, I'm glad to lend a hand. |

First off, thanks for the help. Much appreciated. So if I understand correctly, I have to make sure that the following interactions are covered: P2 gives move to P1 P3 gives move to P1 P4 gives move to P1 So, my Cena with the hacked DVD is Player 1. And Saturn with the normal DVD is player 4. That interaction will work because of the conversion. But what if Cena is Player 3? Or does the conversion also fixes that? Because if not, then I would have to cover these interactions: P2 gives move to P1 P3 gives move to P1 P4 gives move to P1 P1 gives move to P2 P3 gives move to P2 P4 gives move to P2 P1 gives move to P3 P2 gives move to P3 P4 gives move to P3 and so on. |

Unfortunately, you have to cover them all. All the 4-player specific conversions I've done all have P1->P2 P1->P3 P1->P4 P2->P1 P2->P3 P2->P4 P3->P1 P3->P2 P3->P4 P4->P1 P4->P2 P4->P3 That will cover every possible scenario. So, with the move you have, it's not too difficult, because the hard part is changing the 2-digit addys and for that, you only have those addys for the reciever. It's a real bear when you actually have hacked animation for both ends of the move. |

God DAMN! I just picked that hack because it was short. But If I have a very long code, like you said, it's a real time consuming job. Well, thanks for the help! I got it now ( i think :D ) |
