I Miss This Forum

Posted by dreamlighting07 (Members) at Jun 19 2012, 03:21 AM. 0 comments

Hi, if there's anyone out there. Just wanted to say how much I miss this forum. I joined the new AATC forum a while back, but it's just not the same. I know it sounds silly, but I just don't really feel like I fit in there. Everyone has been really nice, and there seems to be some smart people on there, but it seems like most are hardcore CGI fans, while I heavily favor the cartoon version. Idk... I know it isn't likely that this forum will ever get revived, but I kinda miss it, even though I joined after it's "golden age." So... if anyone is reading this, just wanted to say a "hello." :)

Solar energy in the future.

Posted by TateMarshall (Members) at Sep 26 2011, 11:24 AM. 0 comments

With the increasing awareness of global warming and the numerous benefits that solar energy has to offer, there is no reason for people to not take advantage of the opportunities available to them in this field. With a home completely powered by solar energy you will not even be getting power bills. This is one of the reasons which would explain the increasing popularity of Solar energy victoria systems.
There is a good chance in the future that our non-renewable sources of energy will be depleted. Using solar energy is certainly a very healthy way of producing our own energy and a much better way of caring for our environment. Solar energy in the future will take over our present sources of energy and homes being built shall run exclusively on the energy produced by Solar energy victoria systems.
There are many uses around the home for solar power, such as cooking, heating our water and drying our clothes.  We even already have solar powered vehicles on the roads today. Big industries will possibly be powered by solar energy in the future, because these industries require so much energy and power they are using coal to help meet their energy needs. Before too long, you can be certain that most energy grids will be substituted by solar energy.
Solar energy experts are predicting that by the year 2020, solar energy systems will be put into full action, opening numerous possibilities for solar energy in the future. Much more people are appreciating the importance of solar energy and have started to prepare themselves for the change. The quicker we can start using solar energy systems to generate power the better.

Curious

Hello, everyone!

I'm curious--why has everyone stopped posting? I know that all forums inevitably die eventually, but I think it would be sad if the Seville Library was permanently abandoned.

Watching a forum become stagnant can be painful, almost like watching a person slowly deteriorate and eventually pass away--activity dies down until posting comes to a standstill...the community flatlines, so to speak. I'm almost positive I can't be the only one on this forum who feels this way.

The first forum I joined was an important part of my childhood--I made some good friends there and, for perhaps the first time in my life, felt I was a valued member of a community. When that board went down the tubes, It felt like I was losing an old pal. I have since lost contact with all of the people on that forum; I don't want to lose contact with the people here. After being a member of the Seville Library for only a few days I found my self feeling quite at home.

Perhaps this community is permanently dead, but I'm not ready to give up on it yet!

I have been absent partially due to personal issues, but I'm eager to return.

Does anyone have any ideas how to revive this forum?

Shout Out

Posted by Simanette Fan (Moderators) at Jun 21 2011, 12:17 AM. 0 comments

In addition to sharing the news of my trouble with Bagdasarian Productions on YouTube with you guys (and also re-reading much of the old Max, Joe, and Biz show), I thought I'd at least also take the time to give a shout-out to my old pals here (all of whom are practically gone as well, lol, but oh well).

Especially, and specifically to:

DK and Biz (otherwise known as "Max" and... well... "Biz"), my old MJB co-stars, lol. I often think back on the old days when we spent hours with MJB, those were great times. Warped, but great.

Another co-starring shout-out to Liam, who was once my partner-in-crime in the constant pursuit of Jeanette Miller (and we ended up re-incarnated as a dog and a bunny, lol).

And to Tal, always once cool dude, I miss ya man.

A double shout-out to She-Who-Became-My-Imouto Haven, and also to her awesome brother Mason.

And last, but not least, a special shout-out to DiamondDollJeanette, who pretty much became my closest and dearest friend from here at SL.

My backyard play

I'm trying to do a backyard play...That's a play of the classic 1968 animated feature "The Beatles' Yellow Submarine."
I'm going to be Ringo Starr.
John Agee (A friend of mine.) will be Paul McCartney (He says that He'll try.)
Joseph Pledger (Another friend of mine.) Will be John Lennon.
Please post a reply if you have any questions.
I'll post updates here.

Skype (or any other type of social software)

Posted by Theorocks (Members) at Feb 6 2011, 11:22 PM. 3 comments

I don't know if you guys have done this before, but in a couple forums that I have been a part of we have always kept in touch outside of the forums by using Skype, MSN, or even Facebook.

If you don't want to do this it's fine, but if any of you guys want to add me my skype name should be casey.jordan.wieland.

A Movie remake I might do

Posted by Jacob The Chipmunk (Members) at Oct 17 2010, 07:43 PM. 0 comments

You heard me right I'm going to do, a movie remake. But not just ANY remake, a remake of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." yes I like The Beatles, and yes I'm doing a remake of it. It's NOT-FOR-PROFIT (If a fan-film DOESN'T make any money, you WON'T get sued.) and it'll probably go onto the internet for FREE download. If you have any questions or comments, please post a reply.

An audio-adventure

Basically, I'm currently writing an audio adventure with me and my friends called "A Jacob And Friends Crossover Adventure." it will be in multiple episodes and if you have any comments or questions, please post a reply.

Yellow Submarine remake

Posted by Jacob The Chipmunk (Members) at Aug 16 2010, 11:38 PM. 0 comments

Ok, so I've found out that Disney is going to do a CGI remake of the classic Beatles film "Yellow Submarine." in 3-D, directed by Robert Zemeckis. The Orignal songs from the original movie are going to be used. Disney hopes to have it released in theaters in Summer 2012.

Railroad Tales

Posted by Jacob The Chipmunk (Members) at Jul 18 2010, 08:20 PM. 0 comments

Basically, I might do an internet series using, my model trains, currently called "Railroad Tales.". The first season will be 6 episodes, the first one will be released probably sometime in August, and the last one's a Halloween epsiode, so it won't be released until October. So look out for the series (Once I find a site other than Youtube to post it.), because it's coming soon... I hope!

Have you tried this!?

Posted by Jacob The Chipmunk (Members) at Jul 8 2010, 02:42 PM. 3 comments

Have you ever watched a T.V. Show, while playing music at the same time? And for some reason the music kind of fit with the mood of the show or the episode and it made a nice music video? I did 2 times! One was when I was watching an Arthur episode and I was listening to "Yakkity Yak." and in the scene where D.W. chased Toadie to get Toadie back, it was at the big Instrumental Saxophone part and it seemed to fit with the chase! And yesterday I was watching another Arthur episode, and when it got to the part where D.W. was about to see her Bike I played "Hot 'N Cold." By The Chipettes and it seemed to fit with the mood of that episode with the choosing the bike scene onwards until the music ended.
Anyhow, have you tried it? If so, then say what show, episode and song you used. If you haven't then I recommend trying it!

Kermit Unpigged

Posted by Jacob The Chipmunk (Members) at Jun 30 2010, 03:47 PM. One comment

Well, I've borrowed this Muppets CD from my Local Library called "Kermit Unpigged." and I like it so far. anyhow It also made me make up this fictional comedy album called "Jacob Unchipmunked." with me and my friends, with The Chipmunks, The Chipettes and more. If my idea were reality then I'd sing "She Drives me Crazy." with Brittany Miller (From The Chipettes.), with parody lyrics as I myself have a soft spot for her  but anyhow I just thought I'd share my idea and discovery. You can also discuss "Kermit Unpigged." if you want too and ask me anything about my fictional album.
