Hello,

I'm Eryn, the site's architect (I would say creator, but architect sounds so much cooler), and kitti is my co-adminstrator. Let me give you a small rundown on the character types and storyline.

Experiments: (A character whose genes are mixed with that of an animal for the Saphyre Blue Project, which developed biological weapons for the military. They tend to have mixed feelings of what is right and wrong, but mostly have a strong sense of justice.)

Sympathizers: (Human characters who know about Saphyre Blue Project (and probably was a part of it once) and have sympathy for the outcast Experiments, hence the name.)

Receivers: (A human who has been hired by the military to destroy all living evidence of The Saphyre Blue Project. They have been genetically enhanced to have super speed, strength, and agility.)

Betrayers: (An Experiment that has been altered to fight alongside Receivers. They are usually extremely fierce and are always extremely dangerous. Even most Receivers refuse to handle them.)

As for the story...

Long after the second Civil War, the United States went through the next technological revolution, opening doors to new lifestyle's, medicinal treatments, and new machinery. To combat the growing threat from several unions against the States, the best scientists were dispatched from all over the world, including Area 51, to a remote facility in Wyoming. Here, many expirements were conducted on human/animal DNA, in hopes to create a biological weapon that would rival the output of some military machinery.

They succeeded...

Human DNA was spliced with that of animals and plants to create super beings that called themselves "Expirements." These creatures were strong, fast, and ultimately, untameable. Most managed to escape from the facilities at which they were engineered. Those who did not were terminated. The combat these beings, men were hired to trace them down and destroy them. They were also enhanced to combat these ultimate beings, and their memories wiped to prevent any moral disfunctions. They were deemed "Receivers."

Also to combat the Expirements are "Betrayers", which are Expirements in essence, but are meant to fight alongside Receivers against their own kind.

Sympathizers, really, are just thrown in the mix. Having obtained knowledge of the Project, they feel it is morally wrong, and wish to go against it.

Has that helped any? Feel free to send us a Personal Message if you have anymore questions, or post them here if you like.
