Zeta Board is basically Invision Free v.2 with more features and such. The beta is finally released to the public and I have registered a test board below: http://beta.zetaboards.com/realemotion/index/ Couple things about the new board: - Admin CP is wonderfully organized - There's a report section for the Mod CP - Skin chooser - Find all post/topic by user - Search engine work - Request for Username change directly from your profile - Create custom pages - Add additional fields in the profile (For awards maybe?) - View Members previous Username history - Join certain groups/clubs (perfect for gangs) - There's a video section - User status, if their on or offline - Possibly a shop and arcade - and many more since this is only the beta. With the release of the Full Zeta Board (I give it 2 months), Real Emotion will revamp. Along with the new features look forward to: - New Skin - Rules, Enforcement, Staff changes - Forum Re-organization --> Certain forums will be merged or deleted - DOTM disbanded

Posts: 3,476 Group: Administrator Member #1 Joined: July 6, 2005	DOTM will be gone for several reasons. - Not enough entrants, it's mostly the same people - No competition staff to moderate it. It's quite a hassle to get it up and going on time. - There isn't a worthy prize Overall, I just don't have time to get everything going. The only way for DOTM to be resurrected is when we have someone to help organize it and various entrants.

Posts: 3,476 Group: Administrator Member #1 Joined: July 6, 2005	After Invisionfree release the actual Zeta Board which will probably have the shop and arcade, each board will get to decide whether they want to transfer to ZB. I'm not sure how the process works but all members, post and such will still be intact.

If we upgrade and start over [if we have to] then two years work is worth nothing. Then after upgrading, two years later another version come out, another start over, eh?

The number of activity has decreased greatly since the start of RE so it wouldn't be such a bad idea to start fresh but the upgrade does not require the stripping of all current database so it really doesn't matter.
