1st tutorial This tut was braught to you by Tom of the 2k7 gamers forum. first open a new document i ude 350x125 then fill it in black ![]() then add 4 normal lens flares. 1 in each corner. then add a 105mm lens flare in the middle. ![]() then go filter>pixilate>mezzotint and set it to short strokes. after do filter>Blur>Radial blur ![]() after you have done this press Ctrl+f you should end up with somethinglike this. ![]() next you add a couple of c4d’s and set them to color dodge/linear dodge or screen. Here is what i got. ![]() now take out your render im going to use a halo 3 render. after you have copied your render onto your sig douplicate it 7 times take out your smudge tool and on 5 layers smudge them towards the middle ALOT!. When you finish smudgingget one of the 2 remainig copies and move it so it is slightly offset to the other. I got this. ![]() After this i do a filter>distort>ocean ripple. i used 11 for both varients. then erase the parts you dont like. After that do a filter>brush strokes>angled srokes.use the settings: 100, 35, 10. Then again erase the parts you dont like. I got this. ![]() then make new layer and then go image>apply image. i then selected 2 colours from my render using the eyedropper tool and then did a gradient map using the colors. set that to screen and change the opecity to 25%. I then did a photofilter and did a deep yellow. but you choose one that goes with your sig render. i got this. ![]() then take out a abstract or grunge brush and change the color to white and brush about 1/2 way up the sig. set that layer to overlay. here is what i got. ![]() next using the same brush gently brush along the bottom but this time in black thn set that layer to overlay. Now for the text. grab your text tool and select a font that flows with the sig. The font i will be using is called Blade 2. type whatever text you want then go to the blending options menu and tick the drop shadow but leave it with the default settings. also apply a beval and emboss. set the depth to 1000% and the size to 0%. Add a stroke of 1 pixel and change the color to black. (optional) I then set the text to overlay but you dont have to (/optional). next make a new layer do Ctrl+A then go edit>stroke and set it to 2px and change the color to black. then repeat that step but instead of doina a stroke fill it with scanlines but make sure that they are white. Do this by pressing Ctrl+i. set that layer to soft ligt and viola your done. here is my finished product. ![]() Hope you enjoyed this tutorial by me Tom aka Tom177sqdn. for other great tutorials visit realgfx.net Do not rip. ripping makes people cry |
