My avie pwns yours. Posts: 3,476 Group: Administrator Member #1 Joined: July 6, 2005	This time around the gang will be setup differently, leaving the members more freedom. People now has the privilege of starting their own gangs & apply for any gang they wish. Because our community is still small there will be limitations. These limitations will hopefully help balance the number of gangs and members. A gang will not be fun if there are no benefits and drawbacks therefore the "Gang" will evolve around a Point System called Gang Point (GP). Please read on if you are interested in joining or starting a gang or else you will not know what to do. Make sure you are active to organize/participate in a gang or do not join at all. Posts: 3,476 Group: Administrator Member #1 Joined: July 6, 2005	[size=7]Summary[/size] --------------------------- [dohtml]<a name="gang">What is a Gang?</a>[/dohtml] The term "Gang" is similar to "Clan" and "Graphic Team". A gang is basically a team made up of different members or graphic designer. Each team may challenge others, or participate in tournaments/battles designed for gang only. [dohtml]<a name="setup">How is the gang setup?</a>[/dohtml] You start a gang and gather at leaste 4 members. Once you have 4 members you officially have a gang. Your gang gets a pinned topic to discuss strategy, leadership, who battle who ect. Any member of your gang may challenge someone from another team. Winning the challenge, your team will gain Gang Points depending on your wager. If your team loose then you loose the Gang Points you wagered. The team leader must Keep track of points in the Gang's thread. A competition staff will also be in charge of this so please do no think of cheating. In the end to begining your team gets 50 points and once it's gone to a 0 for at leaste a month, your team will loose and be disbanded. [size=7]Member Overview[/size] -------------------------- [dohtml]<a name="start">How do you start a Gang?</a>[/dohtml] Anyone with at leaste 50 post and is active may start a gang by making a topic in the main "Gang Teams" forum to recruit members. Follow these steps. 1. Title the topic with the name of your gang, you may change it later. 2. Post some information or team banner if you have any in that topic. 3. Prepare some requirements (if any) and an application form, people who wants to join your team will reply to your topic with this application filled out. Click here to view example. [dohtml]<a name="join">How do you join a Gang?</a>[/dohtml] Go to the gang you want to join and see if they are still accepting anymore members. If they are, then fill out the application that you should be able to find on the first post of the topic and reply to that topic with the filled out application. Make sure you read the requirements if there are any. Not every gang will just accept anyone. Make sure you are active before joining. [dohtml]<a name="total">How many total members are allowed in a gang?</a>[/dohtml] Due to inactive members, we have limited the amount of members in each gang to make a balance number of teams. Minimum: 4 Maximum:: 6 These numbers include the leaders [dohtml]<a name="member">What can a member do and not do when in a gang?</a>[/dohtml] Members should: - Discuss everything with you team before doing anything such as challenging another gang, starting a tournament, wagering ect. - Be active and participate in discussions. - Gain points for your team by battling other team members. - Be friendly towards you team mates or you might get kicked out. Members should not: - Leave your team to join another, this is betrayal. No punishment will be given but you will lose other people's trust. - Decide things on your own without your teams or leader's consent. [size=7]Leaders[/size] -------------------------- [dohtml]<a name="leader">How will team leaders be chosen?</a>[/dohtml] For the time being the creator of the gang will be the leader until there is at leaste 6 members who all agree on a new leadership. [dohtml]<a name="leader2">What is the job of being a leader?</a>[/dohtml] When you are a leader you are in charge of every gang battle that your members participate in. 1. You take charge and participate in battles by challenging other gangs 2. You decide how many points to wager in a battle. You can not wager all of your Gang points. 3. Be active and communicate and have discussions with your member. 4. Follow the rules and make sure you know all the guidelines and teach them to your members. 5. You must go with the majority vote of your team and not decide everything on your own, work together. [size=7]Competition and Battle[/size] ---------------------------------------------------- [dohtml]<a name="battle">How do we battle another gang?</a>[/dohtml] All the competitions associated with gangs will be in the "Gang Challenge" subforum. Anyone in any gang may challenge a member from another gang. Of course you would need your teams or leader's consent first. If the member you challenge accept, both of team will need to wager some points. When all entries are in, start a voting topic to decide a winner. Looser lose the amount they wagered, and winner wins the amount they wagers. Note: Read up about the "point system" below to understand more about "wagering". [dohtml]<a name="battle2">How many members can battle at a time? </a>[/dohtml] For now there will only be one kind of battle and that is when one person from a gang battles one person from another gang. If two people from your team wants to battle another two member from a different team, then make two sperate battles instead of 1 because having 2 vs 2 will be confusing. [dohtml]<a name="tournament">Can we start a tournament?</a>[/dohtml] Yes you may start a tournament if and only if you have fully planned it out such as the rounds, teams participating, themes, ect. and with the approvement of a competition staff. Don't start a tournament if you don't think you can handle it leaving it unfinish. Once a year, Real Emotion will hold an "Official Gang Tournament" [size=7]Gang Point System[/size] ------------------------------------------------ [dohtml]<a name="gp">How does the Gang Point System works?</a>[/dohtml] Each gang will start with 50 Gang Points (GP). You may lose or gain GPs depending on the outcome of your battle and your wager. When a gang's GP is 0 for at least 1 month the gang will be disbanded, so you want to gain as many GP as possible. [dohtml]<a name="use">Whats the use of Gang Points?</a>[/dohtml] 1. You can use GP as if you are playing a game by wagering it when you battle. 2. Without GP you may looks your gang altogether. 3. With a certain amount of GP you can qualify for the Official Gang tournament. There will be more use for these points when the gang develope. [dohtml]<a name="gain/loose">How do you gain/loose Gang Points?</a>[/dohtml] Everytime gang battle each other, both teams will wager all or less GP that they have. The winner will gain the amount they wagered and the looser will loose the amount they wagered.
