Hi, I'm new but I've been creating on Photoshop for a little bit. I guess it's just that I show everyone how I've grown...well, or not xP

Posted Image
This was my first xP It sucks doesn't it? Text and cropped pic, wow x__X;;

Posted Image
Then came this one which was actually no better.

Then there was this fanfic poster, but that one was really really junk and if I show it to you guys, you'd just exit this post altogether, so I won't show it!

OMG, my first extraction? No, it isn't, it was a birthday gift and I didn't extract the face, I literally erased the bg and it was soooo hard, I did it with no help from anything, just the eraser and my mouse xP The text was once again plain and background was also.

Click ^.^
This was actually my first extraction, but I didn't follow the instructions correctly, and left the picture darker than the original xP The tutorial is on boajjang forums right now ^.^

Posted Image
Then this is when I really started playing around with photoshop ^.^ This started my era of creation ^.^ Hehe, well, to some it might be nothing much, but it was like a checkpoint because I finally just started doing anything on photoshop to get to what I wanted xP

Posted Image
I hate it, but this began my obsession with the opacity setting xP

Posted Image
Hair extraction not so good xP

Posted Image
Then, there's this thing, I just made it for this other forum I'm on ^.^

Posted Image
Same forum as above ^.^

Posted Image
Plainer ones, I need to work on my text choice *nods*

Posted Image
For my sister, it sucks, but I was rushing and she just wanted anything sooo...xP

Posted Image
This was for another forum, I still don't get the concept of that pressing alt and clicking in between two layers, that's how I got the text. Anyone want to clarify?

Posted Image
Recent ones, not really much, my friend just wanted one, but she didn't like it o___0;;

Posted Image
This one was a teaser xPPP I was bored and I wanted to do something with BoA's levis photoshoot pics ^.^

And that's about it, currently in two graphic contests on another forum, I'll show you guys my final product when the voting begins, otherwise, I'm unable to show it to you guys right now.

OH, and I did both of the BoA Olympus extractions under the celebrity section of the renders thread on this forum ^.^

...I hope I'm not breaking rules posting this much at once >.<

Like anything...mastering photoshop takes practice..but once you gte the hang of it...everything will come easy
many of these needs refining..but thats all part of learning
I really cant stand the boa everlasting one...that orange thing over her face makes me disgust it...
for text..you dont really want text to stand out more than your images now dont you?with graphics unless you are doing typography art your text SHOULDNT be more showy than your images..increase the text effects can lead to making the text stick out more than the image(s)...making it wierd...
you shouldnt always stick to blending..try other techniques as well..like textures and brushes

The teaser is funny XD
Take the advice that Lil (Miss. Housewife) gave you and also you may want to expand your signature size so that you can experiment more with filters, brushes and textures.
You may also want to experiment with colors by using the gradient map and setting the blend mode to soft light and lower it's opacity.
Levels and contrast tool, things like that can make the graphic itself look better.

Haha, okiiies. Yeah, I sorta got fixated on that size because of this forum which only allowed a specific sig size xPPP

Thanks for the advice, now that you mention it, the different pictures aren't that blended that well considering the lightings are different with each one ^.^

Thanks *hugs*

Yea, the teaser siggy was funny, I thought it would be.
