So your new to making a Sig. It looks good for you being new to it. try using Smaller Sizes a basic sig is usually around 350x125 or somewhere around there. just keep reading Tutuorials and Taking CNC nicely. Laters.Jason |

I envy you dude. The background looks inverted or something and yet it works almost flawlessly. I know it's not inverted, I just forgot the setting name lol. I'd say actually with a sig of that size you set the text to a good size. Blending is pretty good. Lighting is the only thing that bothers me, but I didn't learn lighting until maybe 1-2 months ago and I've been doing Photoshop for about 7 months. Sadly, it's a nice use of scanlines. Which btw I hate scanlines lol. And commenting at Vanir's post, size doesn't really matter that much as long as you make everything fit. Which you did. Congratz. |

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could someone possibly explain some of the aspects of lighting, and how it is used correctly? Thanks guys. |

Pros: +Render Blended in but not totally which is good Cons: -Background colors doesn't fit together, there is too much white in one spot and too much blue on the others. -Scanlines are way too overdone, you shouldn't add scanlines to the hole bg, just some part to enhance it, adding scanlines to the whole bg makes it look darker and dull -Lightning needs work, here are some tips.. im not very good but i'll give you what i think will work ---Use lens flare and then set the layer to overlay. Set the lensflare to be behind the render and all around the render to make the render kind of glows in the bg but not that much... -Text needs alot of work :] Im not good with text so i got nothing to say. Overall its an okay sig i would give it a 5.5/10 |

Lighting is put into the background to reflect onto what is in the sig. Like in this one, the render's front is all lit. Where does that light come from? The lighting effects feature (Filter>Render>Lighting Effects) really comes in handy here |
