Which one would you consider better. I for one never used Paintshop Pro so I have no idea how it works but Photoshop owns! |

Photoshop is more advance, it can take you places where as PSP doesn't. PSP in my opinion is for beginners. PSP can have some of the same features as Photoshop, but Photoshop has more options that can make designing easy and hard. |

Longer to load? Photoshop CS2 clocks in and one and a half seconds on my computer. |

PSP is like GIMP,it's not a very strong program,PS can do anything PSP can do in less time....It's just like Maya is stronger then C4D Im sure in the right hands PSP can atleast do the job that newbies do on PS,but it's still not strong enough to produce works of art that experienced people can do with PS. |

Well I can tell you right now that's bull becauase I have a custom built $2400 computer and it takes my CS about 3 seconds to completely load. But anyways Photoshop is more powerful when it comes down to it. Amazing stuff can be done on PSP though, I remember this girl Poco who could make some pretty cool sigs with PSP. |

Depends on what I want. If I want to do something nice and quickly, I go for Paint Shop Pro because Photoshop takes a day and a half to bootup compared to PS. If I want to do text, I'll open Photoshop, because PSP can not do text to save it's life. |

I don't have PSP but I have CS2 and I think it's perfect. I'm a complete n00b to it but I'd rather be a complete n00b to something that will take me far instead of something that's perfect for beginners. |

I love my photoshop. I did start out using PSP before. I loved using that too at the time. But I think PS is better for higher quality of graphics. PSP is more user friendly. |

Photoshop is by far better than Paint Shop Pro. However they do both have their advantages/disadvantages. |

I agree, PS is very expensive for many people, so that is why many people buy Paint Shop Pro. At least I did. I'm hoping to get Photoshop soon. But I need the money. |
