Suprising to see how many users have enjoyed this on my other forums so heres a quick tutorial but first a small description. Basically when you put your mouse over the avatar it will start playing a song and when you take your mouse off it will stop. There is nothing inserted in for a click command What you need Macromedia Flash mx 2004 (Can be found in DL center) pre-made avatar A music Track Lesson 1. Open Flash 2. Open a new flash document (File > New > Flash Document) 3. Change the size of the document from the properties panel (Window > Properties ||| Cick on the button next to size and change the size to the size of your avatar) 4. Import the avatar to the library (File > Import > Import to Library) 5. Open the Library (Window > Library) 6. Drag the Avatar from the Library and drop it on the stage (the white area) 7. Open the properties panel of the Avatar (Window > Properties) 8. Make X = 0 || Y = 0 (both have to be zero to fit exactly on the stage) 9. Convert your avatar into a button (Click on avatar then Insert > New symbol (choose button and name it whatever you want)) 10. Double-Click on the avatar and it should open the button timeline in the timeline bar above 11. Right click on "Over" and click Create new keyframe 12. Right click on "Down" and click Create new keyframe 13. Import your music to the Library (File > Import > Import to Library) 14. Choose the music from the library, Drag and Drop it on the avatar 15. Click on the gray box under "Up" 16. Open the properties window and change the Sync to "Stop" (Window > Properties || You should see Sync on the bottom right of the properties, click on the drop down list next to it and select "Stop") 17. Click on the gray box under "Over" 16, Open the properties window and change the Sync to "Play" (Window > Properties || You should see Sync on the bottom right of the properties, click on the drop down list next to it and select "Play") ---You can test your avatar now to see if it works by clicking Control > Test Movie ||| Move your mouse over the avatar and the music should start to play. If not, then you "beep"ed up asshole. Look over and see what you did wrong and if you can fix it post it here--- 17. Export the avatar (File > Export > Export Movie || Choose the settings as you wish on the pop-up) There you go now you have a music avatar :D. Isnt that the sh*t?! Post feed and any questions [[[[PROPS TO LIL STREET FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO DO THIS!!]]]] |
