Tutorial For: Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (but it works in others).
Tutorial Diffifulty: 1/10.

This tutorial will teach you how to make an extremely realistic water effect with ultimate ease.

First open a new document. I used 410x140. Set your fore and background colors to a nice aqua-like theme and then use a gradient, Make sure one is lighter, much lighter than the other witht he other being dark.

Now use Filter > Distort > Glass. Set the distortion to 14 and the smoothness to 11. Make sure the setting is 'Tiny lens'.

Now it's time to begin making the swirls. Filter>Liquify. Make swirly patterns until you've got something like this.

Note: If you wanna make an abstract like sig you can leave this like it is,just add the tiny lens effect again for some texture.

Now duplicate the layer and go into blending options (right click the layer, blending options). Apply Pattern Overlay. Set the blending mode to overlay and chose the'Satin' pattern. Leave the rest default.

Flatten the image. Layer>Flatten.

Viola! You're done. You've now got an extremely realistic aqua-like texture. Add some text and a 1px border and a render if you'd like.

My Final Result.
