An easy stylish glossy text tutorial made by threat54: Open a new document whatever size you would like. Type your text whatever size and choose a THICK font like impact. Now go to your blending options and put these as your settings: Bevel Settings Satin Settings Gradient Overlay settings The stroke may vary depending on the size of your text so plz experiment..:D Stroke Settings Now your done with the setting now to add the shine. hold ctrl and click on your text. your text should look like this: ![]() now make a new layer while your text is select and press d to resest your color and choose the ellipse tool. your toolbar should look something like this: ![]() Do this on the new layer: use the ellipse tool and cover the top half your text it should look like this now: ![]() You can do deselect by pressing ctrl+d. now that you've done that go to the blending options of the new layer you just made which is the the top white part which is on your text. and set your opacity to 25% or howver you like it. Now your done HERE IS THE RESULT: ![]() [size=7] OPTIONAL[/size] This part is optional. you can add an inner shadow which will give it a very stylish look.the settings should look like this: Inner Shadow Settings Here is the result when you add an innersahdow: ![]() ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Nice tut,it's pretty neat. Now I have some new text knowledge. PS: I disagree with the imageshack policy thing. They actually have a policy where you can't use their images unless they're thumbnails. Not very smart is it? |
