I'm revamping one of my forums, custom skin, new banner etc. This is the banner i just made, CnC please. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a233/ata...nnernolinks.jpg Planning on making new buttons, forum markers etc. And i'm in the process of making a web template, but it looks really crappy >_< Rate the banner please. -took you forever so i did it. next time post something under 600 width so that it won't stretch the forum. |

Please post a link instead of a image like that. its too big for a post. Anywho the blue flame don't match and it doesn't even look like a flame, the flame wings are too big, make it smaller. the banner looks.. weird.. I rate it 5/10. You can do better. |

To me it looks as if you put a bunch of tutorials together and then made that. The thing is it isnt bad, but ive seen better. So, in comparison, yes, its bad, but im not saying stop trying. This is just v1, make a version 2 and some tips are... Move the blue flame down a little more so it appears that the banner is burning up from under itself. if your using photoshop.. create a new layer, hit Crtl+A, then Crtl+Shift+C, and then hit Crtl+V. this will take everything u just had and put it onto a new layer. Then all you must do is set this layer to color burn and then start earasing parts of that render till you get a burning type look you know? it also will add more depth. good luck

I think the background looks really nice, but the flames don't match well, especially since the colors don't really fit well together and it kind of blocks out the background. |
