Okay, if you've seen the Harry Potter movies, you know that writing Young Voldemort does in the second movie with Harry's wand?

If you want to know how to do it, it is very easy, but I will go into a bit of detail here and there during the tutorial.

---

1. Create a new RGB Color with a white background. Make the dimensions 400x91.

2. Once you have your new document, click the paintbucket tool on your tool pallette. (sp?) Make sure your current color is black (#000000). Fill the background layer.

3. Now you can begin with the letters. Go to DaFont <---link, and go to the following Famous?>>Movies. Search around for the Resident Evil font, I found that worked well.

4. For the coloring of the text, use FF4800. Size should be 30 pixels.

5. Now, click the text tool. Select the Resident Evil font with the color and size above.

6. Type only one letter. I used the movie as an example, and typed T.

7. Now repeat step 6, but this time type an O, and so on so forth. Do this until you have the letters: TOM, MARVOLO, RIDDLE. Click on each letter layer in turn to move it where you want it to go on your document, but make sure it is in the order I gave you (Tom Marvolo Riddle, only capatalize all words.)

example of "Tom"

Once you have the words I gave you above spelled out,

example:

Switch over to ImageReady (ctrl-shft-m). From there, duplicate your first frame in the animation window. Then you can manipulate the second frame to say something else by clicking the layer you want in the layer window, and then clicking and dragging that frame into a different place. You will have to do this for all your layers but background.

example (this should be the result. Make sure it only affects your second frame):

Now that you have your two frames, one with Tom Marvolo Riddle and the other with I Am Lord Voldemort, click on the I Am frame in the animation window. Tween with previous fram for 40 and no delay.

You're almost done now, make the first and last frame have a 5 second delay. You can add any pictures you want.

I added the box cover from HPatCoS, the title of the movie in Impact and color is gold with a black stroke (2 px) as well as belevel and embossment.

I used the smudge tool on the box cover to make it blend with the background better.

I put a stroke on the background layer. White, 1 pixel.

There's a lot of alternatives, but here's how mine turned out:

I hope you guys like this tutorial, sorry if I confused anyone, but I think that's easy enough.

Fonts:

First, find the font you wish to download. Click on download for either Mac or PC, whichever you use. Go to My Documents, and find the file you saved. It will be zipped. You must unxip all files, and copy the font file to your Fonts folder.

Moving layers: click the layer you want, and use your arrow keys to move the posistion of the layer, for instance, one side to the other.

I have also fixed that last banner I made to show you; originally it was larger, but I had to shrink it for file size. I got a new ImageReady account, so that means all the pictures I had before will still be around, but on a different account.

Okay, according to this, because of high bandiwith usage, the moving banners have been removed. I am working on it, and at the time being am looking for another site to upload the banner to.

I'm sorry, I'm working on it and may have the shrink the file size yet again.

Anyways, Thank you and I will be tinkering with Photoshop for the next few hours trying to fix it.

Uh, yeah, that's my bad. *Grins*

I do have a working version, but it's being tested on a moderately crowded forum. If it stays up, I'll stick it here.

*Will check back tomorrow- I'm missing Battlestar Galactica.*
