transparent border; i guess ppl want to know this...

in this tutorial i will show u how to make the famous uhh i dno what to call it but my name is the 3, 2, 1 border :P you'l see soon but now onto the tutorial.


open the sig you want to add the border to i will be using this one :

make a new layer and make sure it is on top of your sig's layer, and now select all
(ctrl+A) and now go to Edit>>Stroke and use these settings:

and now you should have something like this:

make sure you are still on your newest layer and have everything selected and go to Edit>>Stroke again and this time apply these settings:

Now you should have it looking like this:

Make sure everything is still selected and your still on your new layer and for the last time Edit>>Stroke and this time apply these settings:

Now You should have this:

and take the magic wand and zoom in until you can actualy click and select the white bit and select it make sure you have the white bit and not any black bit selected and press delete heres what i did before i pressed delete :Click here (it was too big so click on this)

now you should have a nice clean border like this:

It should work but if it doesn't post here and say were u got lost

And now you should know why i call it the 3, 2, 1 border :D

Thats one way to do it. Its cool I didnt know that you could use the Magic wand like that. I usually just change the Mode to clear but it changes the Coloration in the selected section so I guess this might be better. I will try it. and see. lol

Hmm I do it a different way. I load the white layer and delete that part on both the white layer and the 3px layer. But this is a nice tut ;)
