Shining signature

This tutorial will teach you how to add a shining effect to your sig.

1.Open up your signature mine will be a sig of Michelle Ye.

2. Press CTRL+D to reset the colors (black/white).

3. Make a new layer Layer>New>Layer

4. Filter>Render>Clouds. Change the opacity of that layer to 20%. Set the Blend Mode from the drop down menue in the layer pallette to Soft Light.

5. Follow step 3-4 6 more times.

6. Disable the layer visiblity of 5 of the 6 cloud-layers on the layer pallette:

File>Edit in Imagready.

Now in Imageready make sure you see the animation window if not go to Window>Animation.

7. Make a 5 new frames you should have 6 frames.

8. On the first frame the layer pallette should already look like this:

9. On the second frame your eye on the layer pallette should be enabled only on the 2nd cloud layer and sig layer:

10. On the third frame your eye should be enable only on the sig and the 3rd cloud layer

11. On the fourth frame your eye should only be enable on the sig and 4th cloud layer

12. On the fifth frame your eye should only be enable on the sig and 5th cloud layer

On the sixth frame your eyes should only be enable on the sig and 6th cloud layer

Now go to file>save optimize as>gif format

My result may be seen better using lighter surface or background.

ooh, thats nice. it kind of gives it a look as if water were reflecting off of her in the moonlight or something. my opinion of course. but all in all, good tutorial. this will come in handy. :]
