… I faced someone of a similar… profession as I at night in the warehouse district of the city. I attempted to lure him out by sitting still, at first thinking my opponent would be someone inexperienced when facing an opponent of stealth. I was attempting to set him into a trap inside of one of the warehouses, however he planned on such a move and locked the door after setting a fire inside of it. I left an aggressive Shadow Corridor and I exited the building using a passive one. Following his scent I thought I could trap him by setting up another aggressive Shadow Corridor in the shadows surrounding his location. However as I began to move on him his own shadow did exactly what I was preparing to do, using the shadow of the building he was hiding behind to extend its reach it sent me back into the burning warehouse.

I exited the building again using a Shadow Corridor, this time moving with more of his own gifts in mind and to get full use of mine using the moonlight and some equipment the workers left around. I moved on the roofs towards him in the open to discover his motives. His reason for coming was a test of his own skills and maybe collecting the bounty on the side. Among those of our profession there are varying degrees of honor and he claims to have inflicted no casualties in his search for me making him more respectable in my eye, though I will see if his claims are true at a later time.

His shadow protected him from ranged damage while avoiding the shadows of the projectiles (catching onto another plan I had). He moved at the same speed as my Assassin’s Rush, however he grew careless himself and I decided to use an ability that I have not mentioned prior to this battle (Information about it and several other abilities have been released) and it left him blind for a few seconds. It was enough time to disarm him and force him to submit.

I take it you're volunteering to learn how the technique works yourself.

((Meant for passive and aggressive styles, forgive me I'm kind of busy with other stuff and had posted this in between several different class projects. It's explained in my character information how they work.))
