Field Commander
|
Name: Tomoshibi Takeshi Rank: Field Agent Taking a much needed break between battles at the TPD, who kindly offered us a conference room, Loki, Crys, and myself were watching the news when an unscheduled report came on the screen. A man claiming himself as part of the Hakkenden clan was holding the news team hostage, waiting for us. So we set off to investigate, and found the area scorched. Thankfully, none of the bystanders were hurt. The TDF and TPD were there about the same time, and helped do some crowd control, making sure to give our team plenty of room. Our opponent was a type of dog I'm not familiar with, with fire powers. The three of us took him down relatively quickly, and there was very little damage down by the battle. Loki trapped his shadow, Crys then encased him in crystal, and I did the final blow to make him ready for TDF to cart away. However, right before we knocked him out, he warned us someone much more powerful was coming. This would be the young golden retriever, Inuha. He gave us the chance to call in reinfocements, and considering his air of confidence and patience (he offered us as much time as we needed to prepare before fighting him), I decided it was wise to send out a beacon. Jenni and Mizz were able to join us as the fight began. This guy was practically untouchable. He could sense our movements and react accordingly, none of us able to get a good shot in. Soon it became clear what he was doing. He was dancing. Keeping a rythym and using it to control powers, such as deafening sound shock waves (my ears are still ringing), and minor earthquakes. At the same time that we figured out how he was able to predict our movements, Cloak and a couple of his Purifiers showed up. Inuha was using his superior hearing to litterally hear each of our movements. My blade slicing through the air, the footsteps, it was all clues to our position. He never had to open his eyes. However when Jenni screamed it threw him off. That was our clue. We didn't get a chance to act on this knowledge, and it was probably for the better. Inuha was gaining influence over the crowd, using his power to make them dance or sing, keeping his beat and making him stronger. Thanks to the Purifiers and a modified chaos type of gun, a few shots and he was knocked into a wall. Inuha was strong, and tried to continue the fight, but Cloak took care of the final blow, and the battle was done. He is joining the rest of the Hakkenden clan in TDF custody. As many strange things as I've seen on this planet, I thought I'd pretty much seen it all. This is a personal reminder that powers and abilities can show in infinite ways. |
