The screen fades from black to show Mr. Vain in his locker room, clearly... agitated. He is pacing back and forth talking under his breath. The Mosquito can be seen securely wrapped up in what appears to be fly paper.

Mr. Vain: Bad enough having to tag with him, now to be associated with that mob of jokes!

Camera guy: *AHEM*

Mr. Vain: What? Oh right. Alright, it seems that Mr. Vain has given this temple of mediocrity too much credit, and that is hard to believe because Mr. Vain didn't think he gave this place any. So, let Mr. Vain set the record straight...

Mr. Vain takes off his sunglasses and looks directly into the camera.

Mr. Vain: Mr. Vain has nothing to do with the group known as the Wolves of Oblivion. Nothing. They were around when Mr. Vain had to blow off some steam, that's it. Mr. Vain's challenge of the Rookie is Mr. Vain's challenge.

Camera guy: Isn't one of the Wolves behind you?

Mr. Vain: Who? Him?

Mr. Vain jerks a thumb over his shoulder in the Mosquito's general direction.

Mr. Vain: Don't worry about him, he's there for testing purposes.

Camera guy: Ooooookay.

Mr. Vain: Now, Rookie, you and Mr. Vain have this match because you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. That's it. Mr. Vain doesn't particularly care about you one way or another, He just wants to beat on someone, and since those other mooks went down so quickly you got elected.

Mr. Vain walks across the locker room and sits in a leather chair, in front of a large TV with one of the Rookie's fights paused on the screen. A Best of the Rookie DVD case is sitting on top of the TV.

Mr. Vain: But don't be fooled into thinking that Mr. Vain isn't taking beating you to a pulp seriously. No, no. Mr. Vain has been watching you, Rookie. Learning about you. And Mr. Vain has learned one very important fact.

Mr. Vain swivels his chair so that he is directing facing the camera, he leans forward and places his fingers in the Mr. Burns "Excellent" position.

Mr. Vain: The Vain One has learned why you call yourself the Rookie. Y'see, Rookie, when you premiered in wrestling you had a lot of talent and a little bit of skill, you had a bright future ahead of you, almost like an inferior Mr. Vain, but not quite. But as time went on, you never got any better, did you Rookie? You fought and fought but just stayed the same.

Mr. Vain leans back in the chair as if he had just discovered one of the great secrets of the world, with a smug smirk plastered across his face.

Mr. Vain: You call yourself the Rookie because you fight just like you did when you were a Rookie. Except your getting older, slower, beat up, your talent is wearing out. And your athletism, while still impressive...ish, is not, lets face it, what it was.

Vain pauses to let that sink in. He enjoys the moment maybe a little too long and the camera guy gets impatient.

Camera guy: So... is that it? Can I go?

Vain: You, lackey, can go when the Vain Event dismisses you.

Vain stands up, walks across the locker room and stops in front of a full length mirror.

Vain: Conversely Rookie, you see in Mr. Vain a man who came into wrestling bursting with skill, athleticism, and pure raw talent and only got better. You said that Mr. Vain should bring his A game? If you're lucky The Vain One will ONLY bring his A game, because Mr. Vain starts at A and only goes up from there. You may get lucky and Mr. Vain will only choke you out, and you can have happy dreams back to the days where you actually won matches. Or perhaps Mr. Vain will drop you on your head until your legs stop working for an hour or two.

Vain poses a little, he is in impressive physical shape, though his knee and elbow brace mar the image a little.

Vain: Just know this Rookie; all Mr. Vain cares about is burning out some frustration so, please; put up a little fight.

Mr. Vain waves the camera man away and looks at himself in the mirror again.
