** We're taken to a house show in Annapolis, Maryland, not far from the site of Chronicles 92. The crowd is filing back into their seats after intermission when a drum beat rings out in semi-darkness as green and gold lights stream out from the POW Tron. The crowd's spirits lift as 'A Slow Descent' by The Butterfly Effect rings out as the former World Heavyweight champion makes his entrance. He slaps a few hands outstretched over the railing before sliding into the ring and taking the house mic... **

Brod: Are there any marines in the house tonight?

(The crowd booms into a testoterone filled roar which then develops into a huge 'USA' chant. Perhaps regretting asking the obvious, Brod respectfully allows the crowd to get it out of their system before speaking again...)

Brod: It's good to know I'm surrounded by real men tonight you see folks because just last week on Chronicles I wasn't so fortunate. Those closing few moments when the world saw what even Stevie Wonder would have seen coming were the actions of a truly disillusioned, vindictive and envious man. Rodnie Steel, make no mistake about it...

(The crowd roars its disapproval of the mere mention of his name...)

Brod: You and I aren't exactly on each others Christmas card list this year. Truth be told you've never been on mine and even when we're sitting on our rocking chairs on the porch of our retirement homes we'll no doubt cursing each others names from the time the sun comes up right until it goes down again. The point I'm making should be obvious because whether this match at Chronicles settles anything in your mind or not this will never be over. Whether or not either of us is successful in obtaining the World Title at Access Denied you'll still feel the need to better me and I can certainly see why you'd feel the need to constantly berate me in your interviews.

(Brod holds a finger in the air...)

Brod: There's one thing that you have constantly failed to do and I can't see why you can't and that's confront me with your so called issue with me. You're the one that started this and tonight I say you finally get the balls to tell me what you think of me to my face....

(The crowd likes the idea and responds accordingly...)

Brod: You see taking away your opportunity to become champion only made things harder for myself to regain the title knowing full well you would make your presence felt. You could have taken the high road and let things be and simply challenge the winner but you had to make it so I'd come out here and call you out. These days the high road is a road less travelled by you these days but if it's the low road you want to take then let me be the first in a while to throw a detour out there for you. I'm calling your punk ass out!

(The crowd now turns their attention to the ramp waiting for some motion in the curtain...)

Brod: If you are any kind of man Steel you'll at least show your face. Maybe you'll even find a new verse in that same old song you've been singing for months? Perhaps you'll go some ways into stopping the parody you've become of your former self. Hell you might as well do something that doesn't turn into a pop up video!

(Bronx cheer from the crowd...)

Brod: I know you're back there listening to this and it'll be eating you alive just having to hear the sound of my voice so why not come out here and say something to sell the damn match rather than hiding in your seclusion waiting for your next kickback from the office...

** Brod drops the mic and leans on the ropes waiting for a response... **

Several Hours later…

We are taken to a hotel room someone in Baltimore Maryland, where Scott Wyld and Rodnie Steel sit. In journalistic fashion, Scott quickly checks through his notes before Steel puts down his bottle of water.

Scott Wylde: Thanks for taking the time out for this Interview Mr. Steel.

Rodnie Steel: Make it quick, I’ve got company coming over.

Scott Wylde: First question last night at our house show in Annapolis, Brod publically called you out, telling you to change your ways and come face him face to face…

Rodnie Steel: Well that was pretty easy for him wasn’t it? Knowing damn well I wasn’t there that evening! And I bet the crowd bought right into it didn’t they?

Scott Wylde: You weren’t there?

Rodnie Steel: After Chronicles last week, Damien Clark decided he didn’t want me sending anymore messages, he barred me from all other POW appearances, and that includes house shows. Brod knew damn well this was the case.

Scott Wylde: But I mean, that stopped you? It didn’t seem to stop you when you weren’t supposed to interfere in the World title match last week.

Steel leans over with an angry grin on his face. Scott puts his hand up begging for forgiveness.

Scott Wylde: Ah…I mean….what made you listen to Damien Clark this time?

Rodnie Steel: It’s not so much me listening to Clark, that it is not having to go to a shithole like Annapolis. So instead I came here to Baltimore to train a little differently for Access Denied.
Scott Wylde: What kind of things have you been doing?

Rodnie Steel: That’s none of your damn business.

Scott nods his head and quickly flips over his notepad looking for his next question as quickly as possible.

Scott Wylde: What’s with all the attacks against Brod, and then again against Vision as well.

Rodnie Steel: It’s really simple Scott. Clark didn’t get the job done, so now it’s my job. In the corporate world, I’d perform better than him. In the basketball world I’d buy out his team’s players. But this is the wrestling world. And the wrestling world is controlled by politics. And we all know those politics are controlled by the dollar. So If I can come on in and ruin a match… that costs Clark money. So the only way he can get a main event going without some kind of interference is to put all of us in it, and that’s actually what’s happening at Access Denied!

Scott Wylde: Just one more question, what do you think about the crowd’s recent turn on both you and Brod.

Rodnie Steel: I’m beginning to think that these morons will believe anything that is marketed towards them. Brod can do whatever he wants to keep the crowd behind him. He can tell everyone how I’m the crazy one and there’s nothing wrong with him! He can tell them my run-in was the most predictable thing in wrestling history, but let me remind you BROD…It worked. I don’t care how predictable it is, if it works you better be damn sure I’m going to keep doing it. Talk all you want now, but at Chronicles we’ll see who comes out on top!

There is a knock at the door and Steel gets up. Scott looks around and starts to gather up his notes. Steel answers the door.|

Rodnie Steel: Let me grab my bag.

The scene fades out.
