Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: The RPG Official Website That's right everyone, Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: The RPG's official website is back online and better than ever! I purchased my own personal domain space for a personal portfolio and productions site (www.shades-of-blue-productions.com) which the Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: The RPG website is a subdomain of. My main site will feature my game projects as well as various graphic design projects, literary works, and artworks I've done. Because this time around I am personally managing the website and providing the hosting space, there is zero worry of the website suddenly going down again. Anywho! As promised, along with the launch of the site is a chunk of new content you've never seen before! There are a few more screenshots, lots of original artwork, and a number of new soundtrack demos. More updates to the site will come in the near future, including more character profiles as well as new screenshots and the completion of the "FAQs" and "Index of Questions" sections. I've checked over and over, but if I happened to miss any errors please let me know! I'm also working on updating the forum with all the new content, so just bear with me. ^^ That's all for now! I hope you enjoy the site, and a big thanks goes out to xxghost_whispererxx for doing the initial coding! |

Beauty! Love the new screenshots and the site! Although there is one thing I noticed that bothered me, but it doesn't really have to do with the site... so my apologies if this is the wrong place. I was just wondering if anyone pointed out the problem in naming one of the characters "Leiko." See, Japanese doesn't have a distinction between "L" and "R" and while it is just as valid to romanize "れいこ" as Leiko or Reiko, I really don't think it's possible to have only one character have the "L" romanization where everyone else gets the "R". My point is just that it's a painful inconsistency, and I think that if you romanize "れ" as "Le" then keep every instance of R as L. Sorry if it's nitpicking, but I'm just saying, if you want it to be as professional and "Japanese" as possible, then Leiko would be Reiko; all instances of "L" should be "R", or uniformly, all instances of "R" should be "L" if that is how you choose to romanize. But R -> L would be terrible, since Sailor Mars would go from Rei to Lei, right? :) That just bothered the crap out of me... Japanese doesn't have "L" and "R" unless the name is intentionally foreign (Katakana), like the band HALCALI (ハルカリ). But even when it is pronounced by Japanese people, or Haruko and Yukari themselves, it is "HARUKARI", again because the language makes it hard to make an L sound. So while they write it as HALCALI, it is still technically HARUKARI. Chances are a person would be like, "Who?" if you asked about "HALCALI" but if you said, "HARUKARI" they would be like, "Ohhhh!! I know who you're talking about!" Sorry if this came off as ranty, it just bugs me when I see original characters that are Japanese, but they don't even get the Japanese right in their names. ...deviant art has ruined me for OC's, almost. I've just seen so many bad ones. I apologize if this comes off as jumping down anyone's throat~ Other than that one bother, everything is looking great. <3 Edited by Kousagi, May 25 2010, 12:06 PM.

Glad you like the site. ^^ LOL Well I hate to give this away but her name is actually kind of a joke and is addressed in the game. |

I'm glad you pointed it out, it's something that will probably confuse others too at first, but it's on purpose, I promise! ^^ Leiko is a sort of "Queen Bee" character at Juuban Junior High and provides a lot of comic relief. Supposedly "Leiko" means arrogant and I thought even though it's not a real Japanese name, it fit and could be a nice joke. XD |

Yay for the site up and running fully. it ended up looking amazing by the way. Man, you must've spent a lot of time on it. I like the material collection outfits are the ones used in these, and mamoru's new outfit looks pretty sweet. Great job here. |

Brilliant site launch! It looks amazing. I'm also quite interested in some of the characters that are in the artwork section. Particully Erebus. I see a connection to Greek mythology that wasn't there before... |

I hope everyone likes the quotes from the script put into the Character pages. ^^ I'm glad everyone here likes the layout because I've been told on another forum that the layout wastes a lot of space and apparently will send users away because they will find it displeasing. >.> Did everyone here get the mass email I sent out? |

I got the email...and yes those quotes were brilliant. One slightly odd thing I noticed is that Minako's element is simply listed as Light. I thought she was both metal and light like Makoto is both wood and lightning? Edited by flamesoul32, May 25 2010, 11:12 PM.

I love it. It was really nice to see the new artwork and screenshots, and hear the full versions of many of the songs. I was a little embarassed to see my old "Spirito Aquato" up for listening though! It's so old and I used such a bad bad program haha... I'm amazed it's still around and kicking. But you decide, sensei! Otherwise just keep up the good work. |

I love the site! The only error I found was that, in the "Features" section of the "About" pages, you forgot the closing parenthesis in the "H. Expanding Juuban" section. |
