Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

It isn't the first time this year that it has snowed, but it's the first time that it has snowed heavily and actually stayed on the ground for the full day! I personally love snow, and since I'm in a bit of a snow/christmas-y type mood, I thought a topic about it would be cool! Just to start some discussions, here are some questions to get things rolling:

1) Has it snowed yet where you are/does it snow where you live?
2) Do you like the snow? Why do you like it/dislike it?
3) If it snows where you are, or you've experienced snow, what is your favourite memory involving snow?

For me, obviously it snows where I live and obviously I love it! I like it because it reminds me of Christmas, because I get lots of snow days where I can stay home and just watch Christmas movies while eating soup. Which would also probably be one of my favourite memories involving snow, buuut I suppose another favourite memory could be watching the Santa Claus parade in town (back when it was actually any good!) and actually /being in the parade/ because of my schools band. I have way too many fond memories of the snow, actually. ^^

How about you guys?

It does not snow where I live . The only some what snow I have experience are small ice crystals that melt within half a day.

It does snow in the place where i live (well not now but usually this time of year) And I do mean snow as in "OH my GOD WE CAN"T GO OUT" not in " hey it's pretty white out there maybe i will play with some friends outside ":-)
Because of that I HATE SNOW , in december I need to use shovel (big one) to remove snow from my car , and if I don't drive for a day or so then It may even take me HOUR!
The worst case scenario was when I was sick and didn't drive for four days , Instead of my car I saw a big mountain of snow , i practicly couldn't really tell if my car was really there :-)
I pray this winter will be light quick and as snowless as possible

Eve ~ Ice crystals are cool, but I would miss the snow :(

Tristan ~ Ahh, our cars are normally kept pretty clean since we go out a lot to do it so we don't normally need a shovel, and my dad has the plow on the end of our four wheeler (it's one of those powerful diesal ones) for the rest of the stuff.

One reason why I like snow is because traditionally, winter is cold. It snows when it's just below zero, so that means if its snowing, it's warmer than some of the really bitter cool days. Too much snow CAN be a pain though, especially if you get snow storms! One time we got stuck out in the city after my mom had surgery on her wrist, and when we got home the next day we couldn't drive into our driveway because it snowed so much over night.

But since I'm sure we don't live near the same area, I can safely say I hope your winter is a little less snow-filled than usual! ^^ (If we lived in the same area, I'd have to not say that XD I like snooow hehe.)
