I'm thinking about starting to watch this show again, since I have it saved to my computer, and I just wondered if there were any fans of this series still out there? I know it was really popular when it first came to North America (especially since the dub wasn't all that different from the original; for once, I've actually seen both the dub and original XD) but a lot of the fandom died down once it got taken off the air, heck, maybe even before that point.

If you don't know what this anime is about, it's about a girl named Robin who joins the STN-J, an organization that hunts down witches who abuse their powers. Once hunted down, these witches are taken away to this place called "the factory". The series revolves around Robin as she tries to develop her own abilities, gain the trust of her fellow witch hunters, and discover more about her own identity.

It's one of my favourite animes after Sailor Moon :3

I'm a Fan!

I remember that Robin was a great character...actually there were a lot of great characters. For some reason my mind keeps going back to the guy who owned the cafe that Robin always went to. He was pretty cool for being a minor character.

Maybe I should watch this again. I own it on DVD but haven't watched it for a few years.

Glad to meet another fan! :D Robin is a pretty cool character, I liked her and Amon the best I think.

The guy in the cafe is named Master, I think, or it was something like that... maybe not XD I know who you mean regardless anyway hahahahaha. I agree, he was very cool for a minor character :3

I liked the series because it was short, but I felt it had lots of depth to it for it's length that some shows take much longer to develop.

Ah, I love this series! I never got to finish it, couldn't find the ending... And I don't have money for hobbies sooo yes. I'll leave it at that.

But yeah! It's got such a cool mood, it's just great... There are some really interesting seinen shows out there... would this count as one? I mean, it's really moody. Um. Anyway, there's another good serious one called Monster... so trippy/freaky... And it's got ugly people! Which is refreshing in an anime. VenusPose

I'm not sure if it would since I've actually never heard that term before I don't thinkkk, but if moody is a sign of that kind of thing, I think it would be quite possible that it was :P Ugly people in an anime is definitely refreshing. Heck, ugly in television PERIOD - is refreshing.

The show is definitely moody though, the lively characters aren't the main ones, you've got Robin whose very quiet after being raised in a one of those... convents? Covents? Whatever anyway, catholic thing.. and whose also a bit of an outcast for her powers. You've got Amon, whose equally quiet but for his own reasons, and they're all very moody because they've got this important job and things start getting intense.

I always wanted them to continue the series because of how it ended.

Moody's a word, and you're right about convent...

I've just started watching this again - I never got to see the last episode or two... but I think it kind of suits the show to have a strange/unfinished ending... Although it's nice when they do properly end series like these... Have you seen Ghost Hunt? I've just finished rewatching it and it's a bit of a downer that they finish without exploring more backstory... Apparently they explore it more in the original japanese light novels, but they aren't translated and next to impossible to find so yeah.

Ah, I'm a sucker for paranormal anime... UsagiLaugh

True, one thing I love about the ending is that it leaves a lot of room for speculation, and even though it feels somewhat incomplete, it leaves much more to the imagination because of that.

I haven't seen Ghost Hunt, actually, unfortunately I don't get to watch as much anime as I'd like since the little bit they play on YTV in Canada (which isn't much) I don't really like enough to get into, and I can't watch anything online very easily with dial-up. Unless someone recommends a series to me and I think it sounds like something I'd like, I usually don't since it takes forever to load x3 I might start watching anime at school though, since I have so much free time in the library there.

Paranormal ANYTHING is cool, so paranormal anime is just a complete bonus! UsagiLaugh

Well, I hope you like horror too, 'cos it's quite... full-on later in the episodes. But I liked it so much that after seeing it I downloaded and watched it again UsagiLaugh

I absolutely ADORE horror stuff :) I've yet to be scared by a horror film xP

Though Hide and Seek freaked me out a little, since it's more psychological and the twist caught me off guard. Still, not full-blown "AHH TURN IT OFF!" scared.

In Witch Hunter Robin, there was the one episode, where the girl had a bunch of dolls in her room, and THAT was actually quite creepy. Talking possessed dolls o.O I hate dolls, they freak me out x(

Oohohooo... then you'll find this one episode of Ghost Hunt quite good... The series is all about a group of people exorcising spirits, when you get down to it...
