I actually just finished this series about a half hour ago - I wasn't one of the fans who followed it faithfully as it was being published, since I only discovered it a short while ago - but man. I loved it, tremendously, and I was just wondering if anyone else had read this series at all and enjoyed it?

I remember a few years ago, one of my friends was reading it. I'm not sure why I didn't think to give it a chance, because he and I like the same books for the most part. I just didn't. But when I actually started reading it, I was glad that I had the first eight books already - I got to read it consistently like one giant novel.

For anyone who HASN'T read it, it's a series about fourteen year old Bobby Pendragon. He thinks things can't get any better; it's the night of a hugely important basketball game, the girl he's had a crush on for years kisses him, and everything seems perfect - until his Uncle Press comes to tell him that he needs his help - he wouldn't ask if he didn't. Bobby goes with his uncle, only to learn that his world, along with every other world he never knew existed (think "planets" that are called territories instead.) is in danger from a bad guy named Saint Dane, who threatens to tear apart all of "Halla" (every time, place, person, and thing that ever was or will be) and it's up to Bobby as a Traveler through these territories, as well as the other Traveler's, to stop him.

It's a ten book series; they start off reasonably sized and get larger as it progresses.

I have read the first book and enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me know that the tenth book is the last because I really had no idea how long the series was. Now I just need to buy the other nine...

I heard that there is also a three book prologue series that they came out with. I thought you might like to know. They start with Book One of the Travelers.

IS THAT WHAT THAT IS? I saw it at the bookstore and I thought they were just re-releasing it with new covers or something, never even checked it out! Thanks for letting me know :) I totally want to read that.

I have the first eight books in ebook format, but I want to get the hardcover copies. I only have hardcover copies of 9 and 10.
