Alright, I wrote these at 2 in the morning my time and went a bit detailed, but I accidentally erased it before I sent it, frustrated I went to bed, but this is sorta, kinda what I remember writing, hope it still works: Berthier: She would be the only one who's sympathic to her sisters, but out of all of them she would have the darkest view on life with a dark sense of humor to boot. she would think of everyone as pieces in a board game, and often use logic more than emotion when decision making. She would enjoy most strategy games like chess, or hell, online gaming! (Who wants to come up with her WoW ID?), and is likely very technologically inclined (As long as she doesn't tweet). Making people lose to her is one of her favorite hobbies, but dispite her evil, she doesn't cheat. Calaveras: A total flirt and one lazy cow. She will often use her ways to get people to do what she wants, and is the sister who's more fashion inclined. She can name drop labels to her sisters or any of the Senshi as suggestions, in a Mean Girls/Jawbreaker/Queen B sorta way. She has a Under the Shadow syndrom with Petz, and often tries to get in her way steal her thunder because she secretely seeks her approval. Her whips could indicate... um, ahem, other sorts of interest that are likely not appropiate to explore in the game. -_- Petz: She has two strong sides you can latch on to as far as fleshing out go. she is the eldest sister, but obviously doesn't act very caring of any one of them. of course you could say that the only exception would be Calaveras who she continues to "let" get in her way. She also has feelings for Saphir. Sure this is just in the anime, but I think it has potential to become a great point to abuse when exploring the Black Moon clan. Wheter or not is one sided is up to whatever you think is best. As far as interest, I can't really see her taking any form of human interest unless is romance novels about unrequited loves. Basically, I just added what I thought would fit the characters best, and well, again, this lacks due to the originals having been erased. if I remember more I'll post them later. Hope that's something to brainstorm with. |

You've all been very helpful. ArtemisX, the only point I would disagree with is saying Petz doesn't really act caring of her sisters. This may be true for the anime (which is essentially what you based your thoughts on, I would assume) but in the manga she was deeply disturbed by her sisters' deaths (calling them her darling younger sisters or something like that) and carried out revenge in their names. I'm debating whether or not Berthier would be sympathetic of her sisters or not, if she bases her actions on logic then she might be more inclined to see their mistakes as their own fault, etc. I did love how she seemed bothered by Koan's betryal in the anime though, I will probably use that in some form. What few characteristics the manga did show I want to make sure I keep. I definitely want to have a lot of interaction between them. I hate in games/movies/anime when not all characters interact with each other much. For example I don't ever remember Petz really talking with Koan. You would think has the oldest she would be protective over her youngest sister. |

Well I base that mostly of the anime, yeah, but I see how that would make more sense, the whole Petz caring about the sister's thing. And what I meant with Berthier is that she may feel sympathic but she wouldn't make her choices base on that. like for instance if you were had to let one of her sister's suffer to avoid problems herself, she would be troubled, but chose herself cause surviving makes more sense. that could come up as a fun complex for her, especially if she's inclined to proving herself best in the game of life.

I know, but I always thought it was too clitche/expected had the villian who is supposed to go up again Ami be a cheat. it makes a better impression if she develops a rivalry with her rather than just want to beat her at any cost.

Personally, I imagine Calaveras to be very shallow. She's more concerned with her latest shade of lip gloss than finding Chibiusa or combat. By no means an airhead, just vain. Though she does possess a darker side, it doesn't really shine through often. Petz: The most serious one of the sisters, more focused on their goal than any of them. She seems cold, but of course she loves her sisters. |

i pretty much agree with what was said above, but i like characters to be deep so i'm kind of trying to figure why they're so evil. obviously they are pretty much the bottom of the black moon clan's barrel; made to do the bidding of Rubius and i wondered if it was because there's an underlying level of mistreatment and maybe abuse from him and the others maybe that is what has caused this desire for competition in Berthier, perhaps she really found herself pushed into a corner when she took on ami-chan so she was forced to cheat, may that shows the desperation for approval within herself and her sister. maybe her online gaming and desire to win is due to a lack of control in anyother aspect of her life (always being told what to do, how to act, dress ect.) perhaps her online gaming is a border on obses'ssion with being able to control that character. within the virtual world she gets a taste of freedom. similarly, maybe Calavers thinks her looks are an advantage, maybe she hopes that sapphire will fall in love with her and she can rise above her position through marriage. maybe he can save her, so i can see her investing an awful lot of time in beauty, fashion and accessories and putting her sisters down infront of the members of the clan: "berthier is so ordinary." as a way of saying, look at my sisters with all their faults and look at me, i try so hard to be beautiful. Petz, the eldest and maybe most responsible has charged herself with caring for her sisters, but is also absolutely manic about controlling them, she's hard on them for reasons th at she believes is best for them. she's adamant to follow orders and catch the rabbit because she wants to crawl up the ranks and improve their lives, and i think when she begins to lose her sisters she goes a bit nuts because she's faced with not only the grief of losing them, but the acknowledgement of her own morality and her failiure and just how out of touch she reallly was. sorry about the spelling, it was just some ideas that i needed to put down |

haha, lily_fer touch some of the points I included in the original post but forget on the repost. I'm glad someone else could see those things for Chains to consider! Particular why Berthier is driven into games so much. |

Wow, everyone's really put a lot of thought into this I don't have much to add, only that for Petz, you could possibly look for the ambitious career-oriented woman-type figure... And I guess she'd have a superiority complex with her sisters... believes she is forever above them and must take care of them, but not acknowledging their talents... (Although with the 'letting' Calavers challenge her, maybe she believes that ambition is how to get what you want in life, and encourages it in her siblings?) |

hehe same wavelength. i hate it when characters are just bad for no reason. i think it makes them more formidable if you know what ticked them off in the first place. |

Yep. There's no such thing as empty evil, realistically speaking. Everyone has to have something that pushes them to that point. Knowing how they got there is half the interest. It makes things a lot more emotional, too. Drama drama drama. |
