Hello all! Nice to see zeta boards have finally token over this place. But I thought I would post a MAJOR bug going around within the Zetaboards forums.

If any of the following occur when you log in, read this topic and take action IMMEDIATELY-

1. If by any chance you have logged in but can not post because you are a 'guest'
2. If for any reason, when logging in you are sent back to the log in page
3. If You are using Internet explorer
4. If you're firewall/anti-virus system is CA security system
5. If you are not in ANY WAY considered to be your account alias

Here is what you must do if you have internet explorer-
If you are useing internet explorer it is possible that you are or may in the future experience trouble excepting cookies.
to prevent this, do the following.

Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy Tab and click on sites. Add the URL of your board(s) into the Address of Website field and click Allow for each entry (1 of them being this site).

Here is what you must do if you are using CA security system-
Logging in, seeing yourself on the online users list, and not being logged in means that a cookie for logging in isn't being stored, but it is registering the fact that you have successfully logged in. It's just not saving anything. We used to get a lot of IE users with this problem, hence why it was easy for me to assume you were using Internet Explorer. Something is blocking a cookie from being stored. This often means your firewall or anti-virus software is not set to the proper toleration of cookies.

if you have CA security system you must do the following to be able to except the cookies. this will probably work for every firewall system.

Right click on the icon at the bottom of your screen and find firewall settings. Select it. once directed to the settings of your firewall, find the privacy area. This should be where your cookie setting's are. once found, adjust the cookies to medium or custom.

Well I hope this works for you... If you would like a more detailed tutorial, I would be glad to supply one =)
