Ooh, I like the idea of seeing their pain! On a side note, since this isn't clear to me either, regarding sounds, will you be using voice recordings? like with most people who use the MUGEN games, so the sounds are out there, or will this just be a musical game. |

It wouldn't be complete without sound effects. : ) There will be plenty of sound effects as well as voice overs. Here's the updated mockup: ![]() Venus' face should be faded out, and the new boxes have to be made, but this is what it will look like having all the faces and the eyes being closed when the party members aren't active. The eyes closed pictures were done quickly, they'll look much better in the final version. |

Yay now we're getting somewhere! The eye closing will probably look wicked when moving from one to another. And cool about the sounds. Maybe we'll hear pain too. Or attacks. That works also. |

Regarding the characters turning grey when dead...Perhaps you should have the portrait turn grey when they aren't the active character? And perhaps make it a dark red when they're dead (along with a lighter red when they're in danger of being KO'd)? |

Hmm... I think it would be cool if when a party member's bar is filling up, their portrait is faded out and their eyes are closed. When their bar fills up, full color is shown, but their eyes are still closed. When you gain control of their actions, their eyes open. Their picture being faded red for dead would be cool. I could possibly have it flash with light red lightly when they're near death. Anyone have ideas on how the final command icons could look? |

If you are refering to the Attack, Tech, Combo, and Item comand icons, the only suggestion I have is added a little text abreviations on them to make it more clear which is which. ATK=Attack etc. |

I meant as far as picture ideas. Text is so boring. ^^; As long as the icons are somewhat self-explanatory picture icons shouldn't be a problem. |

Text is boring! Ban it, I say! And let's see. Attack should be a fist, something that demostrate physical. Tech needs to be a cepter, though it could be the tiara (seeing as that if you're going with the general idea, is the first weapon you get to do special attacks with) Items could be googles. Are maybe But that wouldn't make sense in the first arc.Combo could be two shaking glove hands. But in all honesty, I sorta like the ones you already got there. I think their colorful and could be easily learn by people in the first few battles. |

The ones I have were made with some equipment and item icons. XD The ones you suggest are kind of similar to PSSM: AS and I'd like to have something different. ^^; The item icon could be Luna, since she seems to have a pocket dimension full of items available. XD |

I heard someone refer to it as the "Kitty Space" once. But yeah, Luna is a good idea for the item. Since it all comes from her and Artemis, especially for the first arc. |

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? ![]() :D Something like that, where the portraits show status effects. Maybe when they're low on health, the sailor scouts having bloody battered faces is a bit... distasteful? :P but you could show them turn green or something when poisoned, or grey when paralyzed, or... whatever else, for any status effects you have planned. |

Hehe, well, they shouldn't get too bloodied up, 'cause they are 'Pretty Soldiers' after all ^^ But there's a lot of great ideas, I have to agree ^^ |
