Oh, so you'll be able to move diagonally and such too? That is awesome!
Especially since the battles are non-random, it'll make it much easier to dodge if you don't want to fight.

The Tenchi Muyo game... though I don't know if that was an RPG or not...
And Chrono, but I don't really remember it much x.x

I don't remember what else I've played LunaDown or if I've even played any other RPGs

Just look on youtube and search for any Super Mario RPG videos...well..gameplay videos. You'll see what Chains is talking about.

I like the pixel style movement~
It's better for a gaming experience, in my opinion...
But I find that it's easier to make a game with the Box style,
So I don't usually use it. (I are lazeh)
However, the fact you're making it Pixel style does makes me smile~
