As I said....I'm holding out judgement until I know if these arcs are very long in gameplay.

Chains said in an earlier post that each arc would roughly have 15+ hours of play.

The only problem I'm having is mainly with tiles, since the tiler I found has produced little to no work thus far, and I don't really have the capabilities to do it right now.

I'm learning though, so hopefully I can produce graphics worth seeing soon.

So, let me get this straight...

If we wanted to play the entire game, start to finish in one pack, we'd download the latest version, which, theoretically would be labeled "Sailor Moon - Sailor Moon: Sailor Stars & Final Arc", right?

Eh, not really sure what I'll label the releases quite yet, but it will be obvious what each release contains.

Yee! Can't wait! :)

In terms of waiting for each 'volume', look at the .hack// franchise with releases about once a year. They seem to keep their fanbase. :) VenusPose

I just suggest once you finish the arc (or before the last battle) max out yer stats and get the best equipment to keep you busy until the next arc. ^^;

(if that doesn't keep yah busy, someone has to write a FAQ for the less....skilled in gamerness..JupiterBlush)

There will be plenty of sidequests and things to keep the player busy after they finish one playthrough.

There are also places in the story that are different depending on certain decisions you made, order you did things in, etc. So one playthrough is never the same. ^__~

How bout calling the first game arc "Act 1: The Dark Kingdom" or something.

Chapters of the story in the story arcs are already divided into acts. Most likely I''ll just call the releases:

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: The RPG V1 - V5

I don't really see what the problem is, if you don't want to play the game in parts, just don't. I'm doing this so both sides will be happy, and you all should respect my decision.

How arrogant is that? "You should respect my decision". It is never, ever about you at all. It is about the Moonies always. Sometimes you can't please everyone, but you never get a high and mighty attitude. You simply apologize. If it isn't for peoples input you are nothing.

Another thing, if enough people say that it isn't worth it that way; then they are probably right. After all the game is being made for them to play, not for YOU to show off. Show your members respect and get off your high horse.

How arrogant are you being now? He doesn't have to be doing this AT ALL.

So basically, you point out its always for everyone else? Well then, why doesn't everyone else just do it then, and he can go and do something worthwhile where he doesn't get told he's acting all high and mighty.

If you don't like it, develop the game yourself.

I see, well still, they may be able to do it with out him, or they may not. Either way, he's devoting time he doesn't have to, to this project.

It's either play it in parts sooner, or wait a LONG time and play it all at once... If there's two-three months of wait in between, well.. worse things have happened. You don't need to be playing it at all. It's just a game... JupiterConfused

If you do it like this, I think there's a greater chance that it'll be finished instead of being dropped from lack of interest. You'll have bits and pieces put out, people will play it, more interest will be generated, thus more support! UsagiHappy

Really, "you should respect my decision" isn't that arrogant at all, if he's your leader/main developer. Saying "YOU NOOBS NEED TO STFU AND LIKE IT" would be, on the other hand... UsagiSneaky
