Remember that tact thing I told you about squirrel? You definitely didn't use it just now. Don't blame me if you get flamed soon. I do agree that a re-release of the first season with better translations would be good, but the rest of your post is just plain unnecessary. If they want to release something using their time and resources while not forcing us to watch, we have no right to complain about it. If a person is wrong, reality will eventually hit them. Don't compound the damage, please. |

Haven't you figured out by now that I'm not listening to your advise? I'm gonna say it the way it is, and there's nothing you can do about it. Do you really think it's fair that a 6th season was created, while leaving those unfortenate who never saw the "Stars" season out of the loop as to what is going on? |

In my opinion, I highly doubt any online moonie who really wants to see Stars hasn't already or doesn't have the resources to do so. Stars has been subbed so many times by different groups, also some episodes and scenes have be re-dubbed by amatuer VAs. With IRC fading, Bittorrent and Youtube are the most popular at the moment. (besides bootlegs and such) Even if they didn't watch the whole season (/em raises hand) , they could easily read online summaries or even just go by the manga. "Watch at your own risk" is a factor here; either watch the season and go along with it, or not read up and be confused. Or not watch SMU at all. Either works.

Using tact just means you say things without angering others. The meaning of your statements don't have to change. If you really don't feel like using it though, I can't stop you. My take on it is to let the number of viewers decide. If you really are right, then they won't have very many viewers or supporters. Personally, I think they'll have at least a marginal success, but that depends on how fast they can release their episodes. At least one episode biweekly should do it. I don't think they'll suffer much from lack of an english dub of Stars. It's as Shadou says, everyone has the resources to see the subbed version at least and most have already done so. They have a very real chance of failure, but it will come from a shortcoming of their own doing. I wish them luck though. As for fairness, Anyone who wants to can see the japanese subs. Watching them on youtube is easy enough, and it's not impossible to dl it. I'm not sure how many exactly, but lolipower has at least half of the Stars episodes on ddl. The rest they can get on torrent or on some other site. |

If you would please keep your snide rude comments to yourself, we can go on with our lives. I did not post that information to be criticized even more with your futile efforts to condemn. I posted it for the people who were interested in the series and possibly did not know that we released a dvd or posted them on Youtube. The fact that you compared us to a dub isn't even accurate in the fact we're like a video fan-fiction, if you will. Would you tell a fan-fiction writer they suck you should dub the first season instead? Also, if you have ever been interested in Sailor Moon at all, I'm sure you would know the events in Stars, even though it wasn't dubbed. All the people I know who have ever watched it at all know what happened it Stars. Also, about the DIC names let me quote Shakespeare "What's in a name? A rose be by any other name would smell as sweet." If you would please leave us alone and, we'll leave you alone. You don't have to watch it. |

Ok...your just gonna be arrogant about this. Your just making the offical licence of this product have more reasons to never come back in the United States. What's in a name? If my youngest nephew Jalynn...5 years old...can easly say the names "Usagi", "Makoto", "Mamoru", or even "Setsuna"....what does that say about the disrespect to japanese culture you display in your half-assed 6th season? Tell you what....please read this well put piece about the way Cardcaptor Sakura was completely, rape-like, female offending, dubbed by Nelvana. http://www.ccsvscc.com/background.html |

Squirrel3D -> I'm really not bothered by anything you say because none of it makes sense... if someone hasn't seen Stars, WHY ON EARTH would they view our series? And Stars can be seen online, through torrent, or through the official Japanese DVDs which we have. Also, the rights to Sailor Moon did NOT get pulled because we did anything to it in North America. Get your facts straight--we did SO WELL that we were making more profits than in Japan and less of a cut was going to TOEI/Naoko. Now that they have pulled the rights worldwide, people are investing in the Japanese merchandise which helps them more. No one cares for your rants--what's done has been done. It's not like your rambling will undo history. Since I've instructed my team to not respond to you any further, my last and final point to you is this: you've hated SMU since the start, so WHY are you still watching our episodes? I speak on behalf of the entire team when I say we don't want someone like you viewing our content. We do this for fun and to keep the flame burning and if you have a problem with that, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD stop watching our show. |
