Well since it seems so many of us have played this great rpg let's talk about it. Personally my favorite characters were Rose and Miranda. I never actually beat the game but I got to the fourth disc. I recently started replaying it on my computer and am determined to beat it. How did I misspelle "legend"? If a mod/admin reads this can you fix the spelling of the topic name? Note: It was never offered as a computer game. I just copied it from my playstation cds onto my computer. |

11,000 years ago humans were under the domination of the Winglies who rode across the sky on wings of light. A man named Emperoro Diaz led an uprising against the Winglies with the help of seven dragon knights, The Dragoons. Now the mercernary named Dart has been traveling for the last five years trying to find the Black Monster who destroyed his hometown 18 years ago. When he returns to the village of Seles he finds it in shambles and his friend Shana has been taken prisoner. After rescuing her with the help of a knight named Lavitz they soon find themselves in the middle of the war between North and South Serdio. The scales of the war are turned when new Dragoons start appearing. Characters Dart - Originally from Neet. He grew up in Seles with Shana after the Black Monster destroyed his hometown. He is a mercernary that has been searching for his revenge Shana - This 18 year old girl is from Seles. She has had a crush on Dart since she was a little girl. The story of the game starts with her being captured by an invading army Lavitz - A brave knight from the country of Basil. His father was betrayed by a man that would later become the Jade Dragoon. Albert - The king of Basil and the best friend of Lavitz. He has a love of knowledge that is unparralled. Lavitz is the one that taught him how to fight. Rose - A female warrior that awaked Dart's abilities as a Dragoon. The other character's don't know much about her or how she became a Dragoon. Haschel - A master of martial arts that has been searching for his daughter that ran away from home over 20 years ago. Meru - A dancer that has a REALLY big hammer. She has platinum hair that makes her stand out. Is her carefree attitude hiding something? Kongol - A simple man that is the last of the Gigantos race. He is searching for a world where all races are equal. Miranda - One of the Four Sacred Sisters of a norther country who's name I can't spell. When her home is attacked by the Divine Dragon she joins to help save her country. |

http://www.endiness.net You could say I like it a little. SPOILERS! I need to upload that resource site if only for the translations of the japanese player's guide I've done. While they are probably inaccurate since I'm completely new at japanese, the guide seems to confirm somethings such as Queen Theresa being Louvia and Shana's mother. From what I translated, it appears Shana was hidden by the midwives because twins were seen as unlucky in Mille Seseau. If any of you are interested, I can post what I've translated when I get home. Note that it will be heavy spoilers. |

SPOILER Well it was lucky for Shana that she had a twin. Otherwise the "Black Monster" would have killed the right child. END SPOILER I'd love it if you posted what you had translated. |

SPOILERS ! I've always been interested with how the Black Monster knew who the Moon Child was. The opening movie showed Shana reacting to a gem so maybe the Black Monster had a similar device. I really need to get back to translating that guide. Another bit I remember is that Lenus is from another Wingly Forest that is different from Meru's. |

I love you for giving me that site. I had given up long ago of ever finding Miranda artwork. SPOILER You'd think that the Black Monster would have become suspicious of the Virage reacting to Shana at the Volcano Villude. I mean geez she is the perfect age for being the Moon Child. But then again maybe Shana becoming a Dragoon made her less suspicious? |

SPOILERS! Rose always killed the Moon Child quickly and it probably never got to the point where a Moon Child would meet a Virage. Rose was also positive she had killed the last Moon Child (Louvia) and so she probably didn't think anything of the sort about Shana. I think Rose was suspicious that Shana was not fully human but I doubt she believed Shana to be the Moon Child in any way. |

SPOILER I was trying to avoid saying Rose incase someone decided to try the game. Hmm I wonder if maybe she though Shana might have been part Wingly? Y'know out of the female characters Miranda is the most normal one now that I think about it. Oh well I love the ladies of Dragoon whether they are Sacred Sisters, Moon Children, Black Monsters or Winglies. |

SPOILERS! Here are the translations I have finished. Karina Doel's deceased wife. The statue of a goddess found on the Black Castle's 4th floor is modeled after her. A section illuminates on the statue Setie Mille Seseau's 4th Sacred Sister. She accompanies Luanna to Neet where they meet Rose. Damia's bit is pretty iffy. This was the best I could do. Damia By themselves, the seven Dragons achieved remarkable victories while serving during the Dragon Campaign. The Blue Sea Dragoon Spirit was inherited by Lenus and Meru. At the age of 15, Damia was the youngest Dragoon. She was also small-statued at 147 centimeters tall. Damia's father was human however her mother was a mermaid and from them she inherired a superior magical power. During the past when there was strict control on who was born, Damia was bullied and shunned for being different. Holy Emperor Diaz noticed her and started her training as a dragoon, it became the responsiblity of these 7 people to protect and save people. During the story, she appears at the Dragoon Towers in Vellweb as a shadow. Queen Theresa Queen Theresa is the Queen of Mille Seseau. 18 years ago, she gave birth to twins while in the village of Neet. However because twins are unlucky in Mille Seseau, the second twin Shana was hidden by the midwives and taken away. After recovering from childbirth, Theresa returned to Deningrad in order to resume state affairs. Louvia was not in proper physical condition to travel and remained in Neet. During the night the Black Monster attacked, a boat from Deningrad arrived to rescue the Princess. Lil The daughter of Martel. Suffering from a bad illness, Lil slept in Rouge while her mother travelled to gather the Stardust in order for her to use their power to recover. |

Nice. It sounds good to me and most of it fits with what can be learned in game. Keep it up ^_^ |
