I'm Riki, a.k.a. Black Lady (StarUranus on Genvid's forums), owner of the (indefinitely defunct) Black Moon RPG. This game sounds very interesting, and I'm hoping to give a little help in some areas if I can. |

Yay, someone who will help Chains! Welcome welcome welcome! (Just to show that Squirrel wasnīs alone in having negative feelings about the games progress...) I make a hysterically happy welcoming on the note of new teammembers for this project. And yes, my english totally suck. I'm sorry. But anyway, words can not express the happieness felt by the notation of progress on this game! Yeehaw!

I share Eleo's sentiments as well. Any help Chains gets might as well be from god at this point. Welcome to this humble corner of the interweb, Lady. And your English is pretty good Eleo. Sadly Americans have more problems with english than any other nation. I'm sure Squirrel and myself can both agree fervently on that point. I've seen things that I truly wish didn't come from high school students but that I unfortunately know the truth of. Squirrel and myself can be considered above average in terms of spelling, grammar, and sentence structure. Granted we are writing colloquially most of the time and will make exceptions to some rules. Sorry to sidetrack, but I can't let you just put yourself down. And Black Lady, Squirrel's not entirely unreasonable. Mostly I think he justs gets a little more passionate than everyone else around him. It's actually a bit admirable. He does need to misunderstand less, but I think he probably was just reading really fast through my posts or else was just skimming or something. In any case, he's not a bad guy. At least, he isn't any more imperfect than any of us can claim. |

Thank you for the kind welcome. ^^ I've always wanted to help out with a game like this, to be honest. Unfortunately, my schedule is a bit busy right now (I work at a retail store and it's nearly Christmas), but I will work on the sprites as much as I can when I'm not working or sleeping. After the Christmas season though, my life will slow down significantly, so I'll be able to work even more. And I do understand about Squirrel. I tend to get overly passionate about things and speak without really thinking, but with feeling instead. I apologize if I came off as rude from what I said as well. Squirrel, I'm sure we will get along just fine, as long as we both manage to keep our heads. ^^ Also...uh...we kinda need better smilies... ^^ is not really best expressed as in my opinion. I can get to work on that though!

I just have to go off topic and trail off a bit by answering the last post... Thanks MageHammer, that's kind. Since lately, this is the only place, no, the only aspect of my life that I use my english. I don't study it anymore, I don't listen to english music anymore, so from morning to evening it's all swedish and then some japanese, then I come to the computer, vists this site and feel like: I don't know this language anymore. Yikes. ...
That's... scary. I guess having problem with the own language is a problem thatīs spreading through the worlds children and teenagers. It's like there is no difference between their spoken language (You know teenagers. I'll say no more) and their written language. Yes, Squirrel is a passionate person that really puts some fire in this forum.. oh god I didn't mean that as a bad joke! I like the way this forum has begun to live and breath again, much to the efforts of Algus and Squirrel. And Chains, but well. My keypoint is that it's lovely to have persons in this forum who really cares for some things, and burns for them, cause that often leads to interesting conversations. And hearing(reading?) persons getting all pumped up and making speeches about stuff, it makes ou feel young, happy and alive. Um... I'm stariing to talk like an old lady and turning this into an praise-praise thingie, so... yeah, anyway. Whatever. As long as everyone's happy. |

*arrives in this topic late* Welcome, welcome! :3 I enjoy spriting as well, but I'm not really good at it, hehe. ^^; And I know your pain Eleo, I'm Dutch and I only use English when I'm on the computer (or in English class, but that doesn't count). I thought my English skills were bad, but when I see some people type (die chatspeak!) I think I'm not that bad at all.

I didn't say it just to be kind though, Eleo. It's pure truth. I wish the problem was only because of slang though. Mostly, we need a better education system and better teachers. Currently, it is a hot topic of debate among the candidates for our presidency. Moreso than any external threat or struggle, I'll vote for the person with the best education plan. And To agree with Black Lady, we really do need better smilies in my opinion. The current ones are definitely good for some things, but I would like some simple smilies. Perhaps a new topic is in order for this though. I leave that up to Black Lady if she desires it. |
