Monday Night Mayhem returns from commercial break with a camera ride across the packed arena. The fans are cheering and lift up various signs, including: "Marry me Ayster!", "H20, Spade will drown you", "Mark Tate - a whiner's scorn" and the ever present "Stantz, you suck" and other random insults directed at the chief of staff. We then go to the announce booth with Jerry Byerline and Mike Huntsicker ... Mike: Welcome back to Monday Night Mayhem everyone where we just saw footage of The Ayster's trip down under, doing a popularity survey of sorts on one Chris Dynamite. Jerry: It was great Mike and boy, some of those women in there surely looked like they would not mind a little "Ayster time" themselves ... Mike: Well folks, we are getting closer and closer to PCW Brawl for All, and earlier today we got word that The Outlaw was supposed to take on Hatework in a rematch from their bloody encounter at Jailbreak 2006. But let us take a look back at what happened in the brutal Stairway to Hell match ... Outlaw lands on both feet but one of the roof panels he lands on gives in partially and Outlaw falls over backwards. Hatework folds the ladder and wields it like a weapon as Outlaw is feverishly trying to free himself. He gets back up … but Hatework uses the ladder as a battering ram and connects! Outlaw is crushed between ladder and cage and sinks to the ground lifelessly. Outlaw stirs but seems unable to get up. Slowly, Hatework begins to climb up the ladder. The fans desperately try to resurrect The Outlaw by starting yet another, massive chant, but this time it is to no avail. Outlaw rolls around with more and more blood dripping from his wound and tries to pull himself up on the cage, but to no avail. He is on jelly legs. Hatework is at the top of the ladder … reaches for the belt … and the bell rings as Hatework retrieves his title! Mike: As you could see, Outlaw was taken out by that ladder shot, but it gets worse. We have learned that the original legend suffered not only a broken nose and jaw, but also a severe concussion that will sideline him for at least two or three months. So there will definitely be no rematch at Brawl for All between these two men. Now, without further a due, let us hear from the man who retained his world title at Jailbreak 2006, the root of all evil, Hatework. The arena lights are shut down as "Puritania" blares across the speakers. Thick white smoke engulfs the entrance ramp as Hatework steps out of the curtain to a chorus of boos, his title belt draped on his left shoulder. He surveys the crowd with his wicked, white contact lenses stare before beginning to slowly walk towards the ring. Fans to the left and right of the walkway try to touch him but Hatework avoids their hands. He stops at one point to give one guy an evil stare before continuing his march. The man and the fans around him look excited for gaining the champion's attention. Once at ringside, Hatework walks up the steps and crosses the second rope to step into the squared circle. His music dies down and the lights come back on as a ringside official hands the PCW champion a microphone. Hatework begins to talk in his guttural voice ... Hatework: Last week at Jailbreak I did what I said I would do .. I crushed the legacy of The Outlaw. Original legend? The only original thing for you Outlaw is that for the first time in your career, a match sent you straight into the hospital. And like I said, darkness prevailed. As it always does. The fans start booing louder ... Hatework: You can whine and moan all you want, it doesn't change a damn thing. It doesn't change the fact that I am still standing here, the PCW World Heavyweight Champion. And I am here to stay ... because much like The Outlaw, everyone who dares to step into the ring with me will get victimized. Now, we have a little event coming up called Brawl for All. A roster wide battle royal to determine the next challenger for my title. The fans start to cheer ... Hatework: I knew that would get a cheap one out of you. That is how predictable you morons are. Haven't you learned? Haven't you watched the past couple of months? Or have you been sleeping under a rock since Deliverance where I was crowned champion? There is no way that anyone will take this belt off me. I will watch Brawl for All very closely, and I guarantee you one thing .. whoever wins it, will get victimized. Whoever wins it will face the harsh reality of the root of all evil ... because there is none so vile. Fear the demon! "Puritania" hits one more time as Hatework drops the microphone and rolls out of the ring to walk back up the aisle. Jerry: Hatework with some strong words towards the battle royal participants. Man is he ever confident, but can you blame him? The list of people who he did away with is growing constantly, H20, Mark Tate, The Outlaw ... and the question seems to be - who's next? Mike: The man to win the battle royal and the top contendership though will go into that match with a lot of momentum, and since he will go up against Hatework, it means he will have the crowd behind him 100 per cent. Jerry: Like that has helped anybody yet ... Mike: Be it as it may, Brawl for All is a can't miss event for sure as we are only a mere 3 weeks away from the PPV. Folks, stay tuned with us for more to come on Monday Night Mayhem after the bteak ... The broadcast cuts to commercial. |
