Who do you think are the best WWE tag teams?

My guesses:

Hardy Boyz
Dudley Boyz
Brothers of Destruction
Rock and Sock Connection
D Generation X

John Cena, Umaga, and the great Khali would make a killer stable.

. The Hart Foundation were, (and still are to this day) regarded as one of the best, if not the best tag team there during Wrestling's '80's period. Constantly involved in hot and interesting feuds with various tag teams, including the British Bulldogs, The Killer Bees and The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, The Hart Foundation were involved in perhaps some of Wrestling greatest tag team matches of all time. The uniqueness in the team was Jim and Bret's respective wrestling styles- Unlike where most tag teams are similar in ability, Neidhart was more of a brawler/ power wrestler, whereas Bret on the other hand was a sound and polished technician who used ring psychology to his advantage. This characteristic and uniqueness in the Hart Foundation was not only rare yet successful, but also lead to the Hart Foundation's first WWF World Tag Team Championship when they defeated The British Bulldogs. After they disbanded for no apparent reason in Storyline, Bret went on to became a singles competitor. When he got into the fued with Austin, he became the beer swilling S.O.B we all loved.

Because of their new-found love for Austin, the fans began to turn on Bret Hart, thus causing a "North American war". Bret Hart in response turned on the fans and reunited himself with Jim Neidhart and recruited The British Bulldog, Owen Hart and Brian Pillman to form The New Hart Foundation (although they were simply known as "The Hart Foundation"). Despite the fact that this stable was highly successful (having garnered nearly every WWF Championship title they had to offer, including the WWF Championship, WWF Intercontinental Championship, WWF World Tag Team Championship and the WWF European Championship) the stable eventually disbanded during the aftermath of the 1997 Survivor Series when Bret was involved in the highly controversial Montreal Screwjob. Neidhart and Smith left the WWF for WCW where they followed Bret, whereas Owen remained in the WWF, feeling that he may have been sued for breach of contract should he have left.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) ranked Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart at # 37 of the 100 best tag teams during the "PWI Years" in 2003. But to me, they are the best ever.

I hate that you put the WWE stipulation on it. Maybe you thought that would ruin my "Old School" answer.... NNNNAAAAAAAHHHHHH. The best tag team ever... bar none, was The Road Warriors. The only tag team to hold the AWA, NWA and WWF tag team titles. They were alot like Stone Cold in the fact that it was hard to call them a face or a heel, They just whipped everybody's ass.

LOD LOD LOD!!!!! ;)

Hah, WWE tag teams? A thing of the past

I'd have to say, that the Spirit Squad are quite enjoyable

One that has to get a mention - THE NEW, AGE, OUTLAWS!!

As far as the "Best" goes, I'd probably have to go with the Hart Foundation. B)

PPV Picks WWE Champion

My favorite has to be Demolition, yeah they were Road Warrior rip offs, and yeah they only held the tag belts three times, but they were a great team and had a cool gimmick. They had two great managers(Johnny Valiant and Mr.Fuji) and won a good bit of matches. Of course they didnt have the skill of teams such as the Hart Foundation and the British Bulldogs, but they were definately a great team. Plus their finisher owned.
