PCW Monday Night Mayhem returns from commercial with a shot from the arena ceiling. The camera catches a wild crowd in a sold out arena as we zoom in on the announce table. Mike: Welcome back to Monday Night Mayhem from a sold out Continental Airlines arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, home of the New Jersey Devils. And what an impression has Mikey Craze left on these fans here tonight. Jerry: It was truly intense Mike. I agree to disagree though - he was outsmarted, plain and simple. When you mess with a PCW legend like Justin Blast, you oughta be prepared for the worst, and he clearly wasn't. Mike: I don't think we have seen or heard the last from him on that matter. Speaking of last night, lets go back to some footage from Lesson in Loyalty ... The broadcast changes to a slideshow from Lesson in Loyalty's main event. We see action shots from Hatework vs H20, the piledriver on the outside, H20 in mid air for his leg drop to Hatework from the top rope to the apron and then finally, Hatework ripping H20's mask off. The last two images show the final count on the pinfall and the fallen H20 with his mask torn in two draped on his chest. Mike: Never in my career have I seen something as despicable as what we all witnessed last night. Hatework disrespected a tradition in this business that is older than he is, and to top it all off, PCW management hasn't taken any action, and most likely won't, on that subject. Jerry: Well Mike, its one thing to cheat your way to victory, but the unmasking of H20 surely wasn't!? H20 got an attack in after he was unmasked, unfortunately for him though, he ran straight into his own demise. Mike: Jerry, I'd like to see you keep your cool in a situation like that. Hatework, this miserable freak, took advantage on H20 in the most despicable manner and ... Jerry: Bottom line Mike, if you run into Hatework with an uncontrolled assault like that, prepare to be dealth with and ... The arena suddenly goes dark and "Puritania" blasts over the PA system. The fans start to boo instantly. As thick smoke engulfs the entrance area, Hatework steps out of the curtain to an ever intensifying chorus of boos from the fans in attendance. With a black light spot on him, Hatework begins to walk towards the ring. Mike: There we go. I am really interested in how he is going to defend his actions from last night ... The fans on the left and right of the aisle are lifting signs with all sorts of random insults towards the PCW champion. Hatework ignores them. As he arrives at ringside, he takes his title belt into his hands and rolls into the squared circle. Once there, he takes a microphone out from under his coat and begins to talk as the arena lights go back on. Hatework: I can sense a lot of anger here tonight. Let me set something straight to you low lives here in the arena, and to all those miserable smarks at home watching tv or running their mouths on the internet. I am what I say I am - a scavenger of human sorrow. Last night proved without a shadow of doubt that when you dare to challenge me, prepare to leave - a changed man. Prepare to leave beaten and humiliated. I made an example out of H20. I made a point ... when you face the demon and its cold reflection, all the questions are answered as you face a truth that shall forever be a burden on your soul. There is no compassion, there is no mercy, there is only me! Hatework stands statued in center ring with his white-contact-eyes seemingly looking right through the eye of the beholder. He lifts the mic up to his stone cold face again as he continues to talk in his low, guttural voice. And now, I reckon it is time to leave it all behind. Another day, another victim. Mark Tate - you fought brave. You survived the odds that were thrown against you ... and you've won a title shot against me. So at Body Harvest, Tate, you will have your chance. Your chance of going one on one with the demon. I remember our first encounter Tate. And I suppose that you seek to reverse what you failed to accomplish when we first met. The Dragon ... The Dragon Mark Tate. How ironic that you nick name yourself after an arcane beast that once struck fear into the hearts of men. And how fitting that a dragon's lair is said to bear treasures unseen by men. But there is one treasure, one symbol, that will forever escape your possession. The symbol of MY sovereighnity, the symbol of I - monarch. The PCW World Heavyweight championship. As with every man who has faced me so far, I shall do away with your kind. At PCW Body Harvest Tate, there will be a swansong for a dragon, for the blackened pits that spawned me shall swallow your fiery existence. Fear the demon! Hatework drops down and rolls out of the ring as his theme song hits again. Not looking back and still completely ignorant of the fans on his way back up the aisle, the PCW champion leaves the arena. Mike: When Mark Tate beat Stantz' lackey The Ayster last night he won a shot at the title at Body Harvest. Remember folks, Mark Tate was an inch from capturing the world title at Deliverance before Hatework stole the match and the belt. It is going to be very interesting to hear from "The Dragon". Jerry: Mike, Hatework did not exactly steal the title. He won it because Tate let his cockyness get into his way, and Hatework took advantage on that. Mike: Well, I do think that Mark Tate learned a good lesson in that three way match. Folks, stay tuned with us as we will be right back after a brief message from our sponsors. Monday Night Mayhem returns from commercial. The camera is backstage, near the door to the parking lot. The door opens up, and Mark Tate enters into the backstage area. The cheers from within the arena. They are so loud, Tate can hear them from way back there. Mike: Well if this night wasn’t already explosive, the number 1 contender for the heavyweight title has just arrived! If you are just tuning in, we have already heard from Hatework, about him teaching H2O, a “lesson well learned” so to speak. Jerry: Not only that, but Mark Tate was about to meet the irresistible force know as The Root of all Evil, live on Body Harvest. Mike: It will be the first ever singles confrontation between these big guys. Hatework mocked Mark and his nickname, and truly meant to put fear in his opponents eyes, but Mark Tate has never backed down from anyone before. As the announcers continue speaking, Jimmy-Jeff Wright runs into Tate. Mark is still smiling from his win the previous night before. Tate is wearing a black leather jacket, a black dragon toque, and a duffel bag slung over his bag; while Jimmy is wearing a dark blue dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Jimmy-Jeff Wright: Mark Tate, last night you overcame the powers of Ayster and Stantz, to finally get the title shot you so sorely believed was yours in the first place. Earlier tonight, the champion spoke about how he would be the one to slay the dragon; what are your thoughts about not only your win at lesson in loyalty, but also, your opponent at Body Harvest. Mark Tate: Jimmy, last night was the night I had been looking for, since the first day I joined the PCW. Lesson in Loyalty was the event I was dreaming about when I was a little kid, watching championship matches. See, not only did I beat The Ayster, and shut Stantz up, but I was given my first ever championship match, in a singles match. Now Hatework, I will admit he is one of the toughest son of a bitches in this business today, but until he pins me for three seconds, that doesn’t mean anything to me. The root of all evil, will finally be stopped, by The Dragon. Hatework, talks about my nickname? Well he was right about everything. Inside me, is something that strikes fear into normal men, but you Hatework, are different. See, fear doesn’t pierce you, hell, it takes more than just mind games to mess with you. It takes skills, determination, and guts to get through you. Hatework, I am up to the challenge, and at Body Harvest, we will find out just what really makes you tick. Because I have studied your matches, I have focused intently on your style. Hatework, I am like no man you have faced in your career, I am a Dragon. And dragons have tough scales that can’t be stabbed through. Do your worst Hatework, because nothing will stop me. Mark walks off, done to his locker room. The camera switches back into the arena with Mike and Jerry. Mike: Wow, this is going to be even more than just a wrestling match, this will be more than a brawl, this will not be for the weak of heart. Jerry: Not only do we have to Fear the demon, but we also have to fear the Dragon! Mike: The mind games have started, and the only question is, who will crack first? |

PCW Monday Night Mayhem returns from commercial as the camera pans straight to the videotron. The fans are pumped from the action so far and are staring at the huge screen on top of the entrance ramp where a nightly scene is showing the Arkham Asylum from the outside. Once again we are taken on a wild camera ride into the big abandoned building. There is only a small window in the center of the screen that shows very visible signs of decay inside the house, around it the screen is blurry and shaky. The ride ends in front of a metal door after only about ten seconds. It swings open and slowly, now without motion blur, the camera enters an empty room which is graced by twilight. At the far end of the approximately 25 square feet room we can see the very familiar silhouette of a man - Hatework. He lifts up his head and opens his eyes. In the dark, the glooming cold stare of his white contacts looks surreal with the majority of his face covered by dancing shadows. Hatework slowly lifts his head up a little more and begins to talk in his usual half growled, guttural voice ... Hatework: I bid you welcome to my world once again. I reckon I sparked something inside of Mark Tate last Friday when he decided to put an end to the punishment I dished out on Danny Nitro. Hatework stops for a moment as the camera goes closer to his head ... Hatework: Mark Tate, there was a reflection last Friday. A reflection that was so pure, so crystal clear, it was almost beautiful in its innocence. When you helped that doomed soul, you gave in to your own fears that envelop your mind. I found it to be of utter curiosity that you decided to be hero of the day. You saw yourself ... you saw yourself as if you had looked into a crystal ball to take a glimpse at what is going to happen to you at Body Harvest. Our actions speak louder than words Mark ... you could not take it anymore and had to put an end to it. Hatework's face is nothing but a frozen mask, void of any feeling as it seems. Hatework: You could not handle the truth that was laid out in front of you Tate. You could not handle the primal fears I summoned deep inside of you when I gave you a look at what is in store for you at Body Harvest. I will do away with you like I did with Nitro. You see Tate, for years and years these walls had been my world. These walls were the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, yin and yang, bright, ascending, descending, moving ... and maybe, they were meant to be my grave. But as my dawn came closer, I realized I needed this to become one with the monster inside. I suddenly understood, and so I evolved to a further level of being. Now at Body Harvest Mark Tate, when you step into the ring with me, you enter my world. A world of hurt. A world of sorrow and grief. A pain so strong it is beyond human understanding. Take a long and hard look at this, my world, and you shall realize deep inside yourself that you are trying to fight what can't be fought. You are trying to kill that which finds sanctuary in your blade. You are trying to hinder that which embraces strategies against it ... Tate, you can't take nothing from not. That is your misery and your downfall, for you fail to understand the truth at its very core. I am now the alpha and the omega, I am yin and yang, the true root of all evil. There is ascension in descension ... You claim to be going after me? For the belt? You are sorely mistaken Tate - you are the prey. You are the victim. Fear the demon! The screen suddenly begins to blur and a loud buzzing is coming from the speakers. It looks like the screen is being torn into multiple pieces as the camera speeds backwards out of the room. The metal door slams shut and the screen blackens as the arena lights go back on as if nothing ever happened. Mike: We've witnessed yet another very disturbing speech from the PCW champion Hatework. What in the living hell is wrong with that guy? Jerry: There is surely nothing wrong with his confidence. And geez, if I was Tate I would simply no show the match at Body Harvest cause that guy Hatework is ... Mike: What is wrong with you Jerry? Quit sucking up to that deranged and disrespectful freak. You've seen what he did to Danny Nitro at Friday Night Fights. You've seen what he did to H20 at Lesson in Loyalty. Someone has to stop Hatework, and I can't think of any other than "The Dragon" Mark Tate right now. He's the total package when going against a guy like Hatework. He has the size, he has the intensity, and he is on top of his game, unbeaten in PCW. Folks, we will be right back with you after a short message from our sponsors. Stay tuned for more to come on PCW Monday Night Mayhem ... The broadcast cuts to commercial. |

Mark is in his dressing room, sitting in front of a monitor. Tate turns up the volume and watches the wretched promo of Hateworks. Mark retches at the sight of Hateworks figure in the dark. The screen suddenly begins to blur and Tate quickly shuts it off. He rubs his eyes and places the remote on the table. Mike: Welcome back to Mayhem folks. It's not hard to see, but it's hard to think about it - even Mark Tate has a hard time watching Hateworks disturbing promos. Jerry: Mark just has a weak stomach, it just goes to show that nobody plays the mind games more than Hatework. Mark stands up and stretches his arms back. The fans cheer for The Dragon as he walks up to the sink in the corner of his room. He leans his hands down on the sink and stares up at the mirror in front of him. Mark takes a deep breath and turns the sink on. The fans slowly grow quiet, trying to figure out what could possibly be wrong with their undestructible hero. Mark runs his hand through the water, and turns the cold on more. Finally, he places both hands down in a cup shape and fills them up with icy cold water. Tate sighs again, and sinks his head into his palm of water. After a few seconds, Mark resurfaces and pulls his face out of the water and wipes his face with his wet hand. His eyes are closed, and his face is red. Mark grasps around and finally finds his towel, and wipes his face dry. Mark throws the towel back on to the couch, and stares back at the mirror. The camera turns to see what Mark is facing, and in the reflection of the mirror, is a cold sight that causes many fans to choke. The pale look of grim death is staring back at Mark Tate. The white contacts clearly give away the visitor as the heavyweight champion, the root of all evil. Mark flinches slightly, but continues staring into the mirror. Hatework stares at Tate with an omnious look of terror. The fans are oblivious to the sight, nothing escapes their lips. Mark finally breaks the stare down as he looks back down to the sink. He turns off the faucet and forces a smile across his face. Finally after a moment of silence, Hatework speaks in his deep and raspy growl, loud enough to send a shiver down anyones spine. Through the P.A speakers come the ringing tone. Hatework: The shadow is rising once more! June 9th Tate, the dragon's body will be harvested. The smile fades from Tate's face as he cracks his neck. Tate takes another deep breath and turns around to face the champion himself. Mark turns around and comes face to face with the closed dressing room door. Mark quickly looks around the room, looking for any clues of Hateworks presence, but everything is the exact same as it was. Mark runs his hand through his short hair and closes his eyes. He is visibly stressed, but still refuses to show any signs of weakness. Mark turns back around to face the sink. Mark takes another step back in a shocked look of disbelief. The camera quickly swings around to face a cryptic message on the mirror. Written in a dark runny red, are the bold letters: JUNE 9TH The fans cheer is utter amazment at this astonishing note. Mark places both of his hands on the back of his head and he squints his face in a stressful manner. Tate suddenly snaps and just sends a bare left knuckle at the mirror and it shatters instantly. Blood and glass go flying all over the room, and Mark stands in rage. The fans go silent again, as Tate has just shown the first sign that the games are taking their toll. Quietly, a guttural voice bares a deep shrill laugh over the PA system. Slowly, the laugh gets louder until Mark can hear it in his room. Tate stares at the ceiling in anger and closes his eyes. The laughing finally stops, and the camera switches back to Mike and Jerry who both look extremely worried. Mike: I...I am in literal shock from the intense moment we just witnessed. I mean, Mark Tate is officially losing it. Jerry: Hatework is doing his job alright. He set out to bvreak the dragon, and it certainly looks like he accomplished it. Mike: First Hatework appeared in Tates mirror and then disappeared, next Tate found that bizarre message on his mirror, and now we have just heard that gut wrenching, souless laugh of Hatework. I hate the thought that Hatework is enjoying the pain he is inflicting. Jerry: Can you believe that we are getting closer and closer to this insane match up? Mark Tate will finally face Hatework one on one on June 9th. Only question is, what else will Hatework have in store for Tate before we even make it to Body Harvest? Mike: A question that will only be answered in the near future. Until then, don't forget that Mark Tate will be in action live on Friday Night Fight, as he will be taking on the massive, Joseph Isaac Krishnikov von Koskovitch. We'll be back after these messages.. Mayhem goes to break. |
