Since I can't edit the first post of kamino, I have to post this here. Advent, please edit this into the first post of the kamino thread, then delete this. Thanks. The following defenses were set up a few months ago, and were never removed: The Jedi temple is located deep underwater, underneath an abandoned city. The city serves as a hangar area (because storing ships underwater can be difficult) and is the only entrance to the temple itself. The city can also serve as a backup headquarters, in the event of the temple being destroyed or rendered uninhabitable. The shield is also protected by a complex system of shields. The first layer blocks out all thermal signatures, making heat tracking impossible. The second layer is a sheild that deflects radar scanning and other sensors. The third layer is a cloaking feild, the makes the city invisible to anyone more than 200 meters away. And a fourth layer, a powerful deflector sheild, can also be activated. There is also a specialized force void generator. It creates a void that'll block out all our force signatures. The void itself is curved and forms a dome, leaving the force intack inside. (if you didn't get that, here's a little diagram.) And of course, all the layers of shielding extend below the water, and hide the temple as well. After a recent upgrade, the temple is also mobile. |
